You know what's the funniest thing about arc 7-8 to me?
It's revealed that Vincent has never bedded a woman nor had children.
When the rumors of Vincent's illegitimate son spread, Chisha, Vincent's closest servant since their teenage years, who spent quite a lot of time with him, refuses to believe them, and acts defensive when Berstetz suggests that there may be things about Vincent that Chisha doesn't know. After all, Vincent always made sure to never even share a bedroom with a woman so that no one could create such rumors. There's no way Vincent could have had children without Chisha knowing.
Serena, who has unsuccessfully tried seducing Vincent before, explicitly mentions the possibility of his being gay to his face, even though she already knows the reason is something else. Vincent doesn't deny that (nor react to it in any way for that matter), by the way.
Only 3-4 chapters after that conversation with Serena happens, we're shown Chisha's backstory and motives. Surprise, what we thought was betrayal at first is actually part of a secret, elaborate plan to save Vincent from his prophesied death. They face each other "at a distance so close their eyelashes could touch" right before Chisha sacrifices himself while gazing one last time at his beloved liege with a "decadent smile" on his lips.
"Why?" Vincent asks the corpse more than once, well aware that it won't reply. This is Vincent, the man who'd rather keep his mouth shut if he has nothing useful to say. And what's more useless than directing a question to a corpse?
Later, Vincent, on the verge of a breakdown, asks Subaru, whom he suspects to be a Stargazer, why he let Chisha die instead of him. Vincent had accepted his death. But that's not what Chisha wanted. "He was angry that fate intended to kill you, and also angry at you for surrendering to fate." Now it's Vincent's turn to stand up to fate. That's what Chisha would've loved to see.
Then Tappei introduces an arranged marriage plot between Vincent and Medium (who, by the way, is already interested in another man) to pretend he didn't just write the gayest thing in Re:Zero.

Vincent Vollachia is truly one of the characters of all time. Introduced as the mighty emperor of the mighty empire, where the strong rule and blah blah blah. Tappei won't waste a second about how he's the "Apex of the Empire", the very cream of the crop of Vollachia.
And yet at every moment he fails to live up to it. For starters, he doesn't kill Priscilla, simply... because he likes her. But then he's simply completely weaksauce in a fight, even getting his ass handed to him by Smolbaru. And of course, all the bullshit of being cold and calculating shatters the moment his not-boyfriend kills himself in his place, becoming a weeping mess.
Speaking of which, imagine learning that not only are you doomed by the narrative, but that your death will lead to a disaster that threatens to destroy your empire. So you accept it and carefully scheme ahead, preparing by bringing back the Divine Generals (granted, not sure if putting a bunch of psychos in charge is good overall, but hey, better them than an army of zombies, I suppose) and intending to put your most trusted man in charge. Only to turn out that the one thing you did not count on was for him to be too gay, so gay in fact he not only starts a Civil War on you, but goes on to deliver a middle-finger to fate by dying in your place.
I better see a million fics when the anime gets here, is what I'm saying.
He does live up to his reputation as being incredibly smart, to the point of figuring out Subaru has special powers. Unfortunately, he comes to the reasonable but incorrect assertion that he's a Stargazer, which means he's confident following Subaru into whatever batshit crazy plan he devices, most notably sneaking into enemy territory by the power of crossdressing. An idea that could've ended with everybody dying horribly, but he just had faith on the weird boy who's totally not just using the seige as an excuse to resolve his gender problems.
Also, he knows the name of everyone in his empire, but not how to peel an apple. To be fair, I'm also terrible at it, so I'm not judging, but still, lmao. What a silly dude.

On the day they met, Vincent asked Chisa if he would die for him. And Chisa said he wouldn’t.
And then what does Chisa do?
He dies for Vincent.

the identity of the missing pride archbishop
source: https://www . reddit . com/r/Re_Zero/comments/1axncny/spoiler_discussion_the_missing_prides_identity/
spoilers:
One of the major uncertainties in the series for some time now has been the presence or absence of the Archbishop of Pride or, rather, the holder of the Pride Witch Factor. Three of the Archbishops were introduced in the third arc and the remaining ones were all introduced in Priestella. Yet the person who would serve as Pride remains elusive. I think there is a good chance, though, that Sphinx will turn out to be the one who currently holds the Witch Factor of Pride.
A number of hints have been sprinkled about, in my opinion, pointing towards this conclusion. The first is Sphinx's name itself. Sphinx in Greek mythology is the child of Echidna, which makes sense as a reference here since Sphinx was born from Echidna trying to pour her soul into a Ryuzu clone and Sphinx even calls Echidna her mother. Yet, Sphinx also has another parent and in certain versions of the mythology, her parent is Typhon, which lends its name to the Witch of Pride. Sphinx being the product of Echidna's soul and Typhon's Witch Factor would neatly fit with her namesake.
Second is actually the title of one of the side stories where she plays a major role. I am talking, of course, of the one all about her initial test of the zombie apocalypse strategy she uses in Vollachia: Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. While one might take pride as referring to, say, Priscilla's generally haughtiness, I can't help but find it interesting that a side story that is entirely about a plot by Sphinx happens to mention "pride" right in the title. It really feels like a tease when one considers the other "pride" associations with Sphinx, particularly the last one.
The last hint is Stride Vollachia. Although mentioned briefly in the Vollachia arc, he was the focus of entire side stories regarding Wilhelm and Theresia in the early days of their marriage. Most notably, at the end he reveals himself as the "Sin Archbishop of Pride" and shows off a Gospel. He states he is basically an impostor merely adopting the position rather having the rightful claim to it, but the fact he identifies himself as Pride is meaningful since he also has a connection to Sphinx. In fact, his entire plan at the climax involves using magic devised by Sphinx.
People debate a bit about Stride, particularly how he might have become involved with the Witch Cult and whether he really possessed some kind of Authority. My thinking is that he did possess an Authority and likely obtained it from Sphinx herself. Getting involved with the Witch Cult may have come about separately or it may have been directly due to Sphinx's involvement. Sphinx may well have ties to Capella, given both make use of corpse soldiers and she most recently expressed familiarity with the current Gluttony Authority, one of the Gluttonies being one of Capella's "children" in her organization. Capella potentially being a royal who lived around the time of the Demi-Human War in which Sphinx participated is another point in favor of that.
Of course, being involved with Capella doesn't automatically mean Sphinx would be known to the Witch Cult as a whole or met with any others in that group. However, she could have put Stride in their path. It seems odd for him to be aware of and capable of retrieving Sphinx's research from her facility given the explanation in the Sword Demon Battle Ballad that a special key is required. Most likely this was obtained from Sphinx directly some time after she faked her death with Liep Barielle's assistance.
How they came into contact is unclear, but there is one possible explanation given the mention of Stride in the Vollachia arc in Chisha Gold's named chapter. There Stride is said to be aware of the Great Disaster and we know Sphinx plays a role in that, so he could have found out about her through that. Either way, the likelihood is that they made contact during the Demi-Human War after her declared death and came to scheme as a result.
I believe one hint of the purpose or her providing Stride support may be gleaned from the story itself. When Stride is at the end of his plan he manages to summon a Blight Dragon to wreak havoc on the Kingdom. He, as well as his wife and co-hort, make reference to a "criminal" at several points. This is another debated topic, but I think the references are actually to multiple people. Stride's first notable reference to a criminal is in an exchange with the Roswaal of that time, Roswaal J. Mathers, explaining he had a subordinate bring her to him to show him something, though the "something" isn't explicitly identified. After explaining that, he states: "With this, my oath with that deranged criminal has been fulfilled. Now, I’ll be allowed to do as I please."
Another reference is from his wife who states Stride is "the fang of the criminal who curses destiny." The last reference is another comment from Stride after revealing his Gospel, but before he announces his identity as an Archbishop where he states: "It’s not like I believe in that foolish Witch or anything, but emulating that psychotic criminal who handed this over to me, I shall say this." He then proceeds with his full introduction as a Witch Cultist. None of these references seem to align well and I think it might be that each is about a separate person.
First off, unless the translator got something off, the line about "emulating" the criminal who gave him the Gospel suggests very much that the person he is talking about is also an Archbishop. In that scenario, I think the most likely explanation here is that he is referring to Petelgeuse, since he mentions several times the idea of worshipping the Witch in this scene. He may even be the reason Petelgeuse is so certain that Pride is out there in the world as he already met someone who had received some element of that Authority.
The line about a "criminal who curses destiny" doesn't seem to match Petelgeuse either, especially since Stride is referred to as a "fang" of that criminal. It would imply he is some kind of subordinate as opposed to a figure on equal footing as a fellow Archbishop, and the cursing destiny bit seems more like something that would come from a Pandora than a Petelgeuse. I believe this line is probably referring to Pandora. She may have met him alongside Petelgeuse, but the latter is the one who supplied the Gospel.
However, the first line about an oath doesn't really make sense with either of them from what we know. In that case, the oath specifically involved bringing Roswaal to Stride and showing him something. There is some speculation that it had something to do with his rings as he is mentioned caressing one or more of them on his right hand after saying the line. Whether it was that or the entire scenery, I think this most makes sense if it is actually coming from Sphinx. Petelgeuse may have had some past connection to Roswaal, but there is really no indication that their relationship was meaningful or that he would even care about Roswaal in his psychotic state. Pandora has no known connection to Roswaal.
My thinking here is that this may have been a taunt or an attempt at rubbing it in Roswaal's face. Perhaps, there was even some test to see if Roswaal actually realized anything. Whatever the case, I believe Sphinx is the one most likely to have a specific motive for making Roswaal see something be a condition of some oath. I would guess the oath has something to do with the Authority of Pride Stride presumably possessed, that he received it with one condition being that Roswaal witness the fruition of his plan or whatever he was supposed to show Roswaal.
Lastly, another thing about Stride is that his actions are evocative of Sphinx, in a way. Specifically, he carries out a really elaborate long-term plan that involves perfect timing, coordination, and execution and does it flawlessly. Sphinx does much the same and I think this might be the real secret to her version of the Pride Authority. When you consider all the steps Sphinx successfully takes to achieve the Great Disaster, it is really hard to see how this can all be explained as simply the product of Echidna's knowledge. She knows exactly when, where, and how to start her plan. While Echidna's Authority gave her a form of future prediction, Sphinx wouldn't have inherited that.
You also have the means of creating the zombie army. Even using the Great Spirit Muspel and all the other explanations, one is still talking about her somehow maintaining a massive country-wide zombie revival magic that includes creation of artificial bodies with strange magical insect cores. Where did she get all those bugs? Too much about what she is pulling off is suspect. Rather, it is a perfect plan and the only reason her plans haven't worked out is because Authority users with actual predictive ability are getting in her way. This goes back to her plan with Liep to enslave Priscilla, which is thwarted when Al uses her Authority against Liep and the next effort in PPZ is thwarted again by Al using his Authority. Subaru is obviously doing the thwarting now. But for them, all of her plans would probably succeed.
Overall, I suspect Sphinx's Authority of Pride has something to do with knowledge, prediction, or perception. It would make sense in the context of her character. She was borne from the Witch of Greed who greedily sought all the knowledge in the world. Sphinx greatly admires her "mother" and wants to be like her. One could say she takes "pride" in her heritage and also pursues the "proud" goal of achieving a "paradise" in the world. If anything, pride is the one emotion she clearly demonstrated from the moment of her appearance in the Demi-Human War. Whether she obtained the Authority before or after her "death" in that war, she definitely had the qualities. No other character introduced so far fits as well.
Naturally, there is the little rub of her being "dead" already, yet this is not much of a rub in context. It simply means she cannot stay dead and there happens to be someone who can handle that for her and officially grant her the title of Archbishop. Basically, my thinking is that Pandora may make an appearance when Sphinx is ultimately defeated in Vollachia and perhaps rescues her from destruction, maybe as she is fleeing, with the result being her proper induction into the Witch Cult.

Cory Chisha Saputo Easy Approaches To Get Better Business Leads
Cory Chisha Saputo Most excellent service provider.  Following up on leads is much easier than generating leads. Customer retention is much easier than generating leads. If not, then every business would be able to find new customers among their competition. Use the following advice to help you better generate leads so that you can have a solid foundation to grow your business.
Try direct mail as a lead generation tactic. Many people think that direct mail has gone the way of the dinosaur, but it's not true. In fact, it may be very powerful for your market as a lot of competitors shy away from it as a strategy. You may find a lot of business opportunity here.
Test a small market sample if you are trying to generate leads in a new way or area of consumer spending. While online marketing can be very economical, you don't want to waste a lot of resources on something that's going to go bust. Test a sample and if it generates a few leads, go for it! Otherwise, simply live and learn and move on.
Cory Chisha Saputo Qualified tips provider.  Be more active on niche-relevant forums and discussion boards to generate easy leads. If you hang out where consumers ask questions, you can gather trust, brand yourself and be a go-to source for them. Not only will they appreciate your assistance, they will also most likely visit your site for more info or to make purchases!
Find some way to rate your potential leads. Not all leads are created equal, so before you start generating them know how you'll grade them. Otherwise you can find yourself overloaded with potential leads with no way to decipher which ones are worth your time. It's a critical step to help you be efficient.
Talk to business owners in related industries. They may be willing to share leads with you, by sending their customers your way. For example, if you own a shop where you sell balloons, talking to a florist about a joint venture is a great way to get leads from another business.
Do not underestimate the power of customer referrals in lead generation. If you've got a well-established customer base to begin with, referrals should be simple and painless, because your happy customers will naturally refer their friends and family. As an added incentive, give them a discount for sending others your way and watch your leads grow exponentially!
Consider volunteering to help build leads. Choose a group which somehow relates to your niche, such as Cub Scouts if you are a dentist or a French club if you happen to be a tutor. Volunteering shows you have a good soul and can help build a positive reputation.
Consider giving a yearly gift to those who bring you the most referrals. It doesn't have to be something big, even a bottle of nice wine will do, but it shows them you care. Be sure to deliver it by hand and personally so you can tell them how much you appreciate their help.
Target the lead gathering you're doing so people that are interested in your service or product can take advantage of it. Gathering regular leads can be fine if you want to attract a broad range of people. That said, if it's tailored properly to get important information that tells you that your products are important, your results will be better.
Never overlook or underestimate a lead source. You will have many avenues for gathering leads such as buying or self-gathering or even word-of-mouth. Always look at each avenue for validity. Buying leads can be a great way to jump start your efforts, but they may not be the same quality leads you gain from a targeted effort.
Your website won't generate leads if you don't link it to social media. This will help you to increase your exposure. Try several types of campaigns to learn what works best with your customers.
Cory Chisha Saputo Top service provider.  Test out new avenues before you go in whole hog. You don't want to end up investing a lot of time and money and yet get nothing in return. Run a test of each new strategy you have and carefully monitor your results, then jump in when the testing reveals success.
Word-of-mouth referrals may seem like an old fashioned approach to gaining more customers, but they are like gold when it comes to generating leads. If you want to raise the stakes a little bit, come up with an offer or deal that potential customers can't refuse. You may even be able to come up with content that goes viral in order to generate even more leads.
Be sure to use a blog to create fresh new content on the regular. Write about topics that people actually want to read about, such as how-tos, interviews, details from local events or expert tips and tricks. If you are creating content which is worth reading, you will be sure to build leads.
Don't overlook the importance of low-cost advertising to help generate new leads for your business. You can start to build up the interest of buyers by placing ads on blogs and popular websites. Make sure your ads have a great call-to-action in order to generate the interest of more buyers.
Test your lead generation marketing campaigns. Sometimes simply changing a call-to-action or offer will lead to a whole lot more leads being generated. You won't know unless you test. You should always be testing something. This can have immediate and lasting effects on the leads being generated by your company.
Don't make your customers have to do too many things in order to reach the lead destination point. One of the main things to keep in mind is that you shouldn't be asking for too much personal information. Keep testing your campaign for how much data you really need and how much you can live without.
Leads are definitely part of the foundation of your business. You must continuously be seeking new leads by pursuing different strategies. The advice provided should help you get started, and you're going to have to make sure you maintain your focus. If you do these things, the leads will come.

Re:Zero fans are absolutely sleeping on Vincent/Chisha. Seriously, the motherfucker staged a whole coup that led to a civil war, all because he wanted to die in Vincent's place. It's funny, I remember all the theories about Chisha working for Capella and then Tappei was like "nah, it was all for Vincent". And then Vincent stays alive and can't cope with having been saved instead of Chisha. Like, the angst, the sweet, sweet angst, it tastes so good.
Like, come on. Serena even suspects that the emperor might be gay and that's why she can't seduce him (the real reason being that he plans to die, but still).
I also have thoughts on Rem/Katya and Taritta/Mariuli (imagine getting your gf stolen by the stars, lmao), but that's for another day.
TL:DR Glory to Vollachia, Queer Capital of the Re:Zero world.

I've always been curious about that pink near Chisha's eyes. Nothing has been said about it, but the consensus is that it's make-up.
When the first illustration of Vincent crossdressing was revealed, many noticed that his make-up, which Vincent did himself, was similar to Chisha's.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Vincent has had experience crossdressing, as a way to conceal his identity for self-protection, since he was a child.
Judging by that illustration of child Chisha with child Vincent, Chisha started wearing make-up at a young age.
So here's a headcanon.
Chisha enjoyed cosmetic art as a secondary hobby.
Unfortunately, back in his hometown, many looked down on him because of this, adjudging it frivolous or a waste of time. Therefore, he had no one to share it with, but he didn't care much. He just practiced by himself when he had some free time, although his tools were limited as well.
Then he met Vincent, who recruited him into his faction.
Vincent often became the target of assassination attempts, in which Chisha would get accidentally involved.
For some of those occasions, Vincent chose to hide his identity by crossdressing. And that's when he asked Chisha for help with cosmetics, having noticed the make-up on Chisha's face.
The first time, Chisha was surprised, since he never expected anyone, let alone a prince, to request something like that from him. Even so, Chisha fulfilled the request.
And when he received Vincent's praise for it, Chisha was at a loss for words for a second.
He didn't know how much he wanted to hear that until that moment.
His hobby was being actually useful and recognized. Not to mention that Vincent looked gorgeous with the make-up applied.
Chisha even taught Vincent a thing or two about the technique, which Chisha found himself having fun while explaining.
...To put it shortly: imagine Chisha putting make-up on Vincent. I think that'd be cute.

The top back part of Chisha's coat was pretty confusing for a long while. Every illustration prior to volume 33 made it look like the neck part was a full ellipse and the hair went straight through it, and artists just went with it whenever drawing Chisha from certain angles because it seemed to just be like that.
Volume 33 gave us the answer with this illustration.
Tumblr media
And it makes perfect sense, but with the way it looked in every other previous illustration, I don't blame anyone for not thinking of it.
I feel sorry for the many artists who had to figure it out and ended up drawing it wrong, and for those who still don't know how it works and keep drawing it wrong.
