Chip the Emissary of Light aka "Light Gaia"
Some notes about this re-design:
- The left image is his normal base form
- The middle image has his eyes, orb, wrist and leg bands glowing when using any form of his power or being near the chaos emeralds.
- Thin markings also appear around his eyes in this state
- The far right images are profile references for his hair and tail
- He has an "Awakened" form, nearly equal in size to Dark Gaia that is more serpent/dragon like, but I haven't designed it yet.
After going ahead with some of the advice from the comments section on my poll, I merged elements from both redesign concepts, tweaked the muzzle fluff and smoothed out the ears a bit for a more finalized look. I'm really happy with this design and can't wait to do more turnaround views and a full character exploration sketch sheet. :D

Finally done ( very late Halloween drawing)😅
I was going to post a description, but it was too long and it was taking me too long to finish writing it. (so I’ll probably post it on here when it’s done and link it back to this).
But short description, movie sonic unleashed plot but tails and Amy are more involved.
Sonics failed attempt at showing off/flirting due to chip and Amy being too busy enjoying ice cream for the first time.
Sonic being insecure about his werehog form while Amy is comforting him.

Hello everyone, apologies for the lack of updates but I HAVE been working on some new art for you all. This update is entirely dedicated to #Sonicthehedgehog characters that aren't as popular as I wish they could be.
From left to right top to bottom:
Cream the Rabbit, Blaze the Cat, Marine the Raccoon from Sonic Rush Adventure, Chip (AKA Light Gaia) from Sonic Unleashed, Jet the Hawk, Shade the Echidna from Sonic Chronicles, Emerl the Gizoid from Sonic Battle, Tikal the Echidna and Chaos 0 from Sonic Adventure and finally Neutral & Hero Swim Chao from the Sonic Adventure games.
Several of these characters never received more than one game, whilst others have been relegated to supporting roles having little to no use in more recent games in the series. Admittedly Cream is the exception, playing a starring role in the recent Sonic Dream Team, but its entirely likely that she will fall back into relative obscurity.
That said, I also wanted to dedicate this art to showing Sonic characters in the real world who will, likely, never be present in the films' live action universe. So yeah, fans of these characters should be happy to see them enjoying our own world :)
Of course, the Chao are somewhat of an exception of their own, but I think I speak for all of us in the Sonic fanbase when I say that I wish they had a greater role in the series as a whole, there's no Chao Gardens in real life but there sure are Garden Centers :D

Sonic World project plan: Trip the Sungazer (Vol. 1)
This series is not an assured project. It is a concept that can still be changed or scrapped.
Synopsis
Following the events of "Tangle & Whisper (Vol. 1)," a strange energy has descended upon the Northstar Island. Its clumsy protector finds herself faced with threats from beyond her world. She finally makes new friends to help protect the island from the evil that has come for the power it holds deep below.
Characters
Trip the Sungazer - The last member of her tribe left on Northstar Island. She protects an ancient tomb hidden on the island. Unfortunately, she is very accident prone.
Sticks the Badger - A paranoid badger living in the jungle of Northstar Island. She is prepared for anything.
Chip - A mysterious small flying creature that has never been seen on Northstar Island before. They suffer from amnesia.
Dark Gaia - The evil deity who created the Zeti. They are trapped within the Lost Hex planet, sending orders to Zeena through mirrors.
Zeena - A narcissistic Zeti who follows the orders of Dark Gaia. She prefers not to get her hands dirty, avoiding combat when possible and giving orders to the Dark Gaia minions.
Other Information
Dark Gaia communicates through mirrors, inspired by the 1987 film Prince of Darkness.
Trip is a teenager during the events of the series, but there are meant to be flashbacks to when she looks like her young Sonic Superstars character.
