“In A Different World, We Are Still Bookends Of The Same Soul”
Dear Erik...
(Shame x Starter For 10)
Maybe in another life, you are a charming businessman and I'm a college student.
(The Book of Clarence x 300)
Or maybe we're both warriors, facing each other as enemies in the battlefield.
(Centurion x The Lion The Witch And The Wardrobe)
In another life, you're a Roman Soldier fleeing for your life, and I'm the faun you encountered amidst the snow.
(Wanted x Assassin's Creed)
And maybe in another, we are members of opposing assassination groups...
(The Killer x Wanted)
Perhaps in another life you are a hired killer -- and I, your next target.
(Prometheus x Victor Frankenstein)
Or maybe I'm a scientist, and you, my most deadly creation.
(Children of the Dune x Prometheus)
Perhaps in a different world you are an alien, and I, too, am not entirely human.
(Trespass Against Us x Submergence)
Or maybe in another life, I am a spy and you are my target.
(Atonement x Steve Jobs)
Perhaps in another life we meet as noblemen...
(Inglorious Basterds x Atonement)
Or maybe we are both soldiers, mere pawns in the midst of a raging battle.
But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter...
Because no matter who we are...
We will always find our way back to each other...
Fall in love...
And grow old together...

the idea of kyle maclachlan playing paul atreides: familiar and comforting…. life affirming and true
the idea of timothee chalamet as dale cooper: a vision so horrific and cosmically wrong that it corrupts the very mind that conjures it

The whole genetics project of the Bene Gesserit may have been dubbed a failure because Paul wasn't a girl but there was nothing stopping Paul and Feyd-Ruatha acting on that sexual tension they had in both book and film.
Paul could have taken Feyd as a third Consort. Just imagine Paul with his Empress Irulan and his wife Chani sitting at his side and Feyd just sprawled on the dais steps just wearing something scandalous like
You were right Reverend Mother Gaius Helen Mohiam, wasted potential.

Imagine you are Lady Jessica. You’re bred and trained all your life to help create the prophesied “savior” of the world. In a mix of your own pride and love for the child’s father, you bear that savior. But it’s too early. Those who trained you say he is not the one. And because of it he’s in danger. You then must travel to a place that only wants to kill you, and nearly succeeds in the process. The only way to live, the only way your son lives, is to ensure that the prophecy becomes true. That your son really is that savior. So you do, you make it true, because it has to be true. You force fate. He doesn’t die. Hundreds die. Then thousands. Now millions. Your son is not only alive, but the emperor of the known universe. Worshiped like a god because you made him a god, and did it so well you convinced yourself of his divinity, his prophecy. He is near mad with every possible future laid before him, regrets and blood stain his hands. But he is alive. Wasn’t it all worth it? Was it?

Police: Madame, we need you to come pick up your child?
Jessica: Which child?
Police: The unholy crime against nature.
Jessica: Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?
