love the idea of him trying to manage the new land the wardens got on top of helping out at the alieange give this man some leadership roles (also babette being his guide to the city uwu those two are gonna live rent free in my mind ty tabby)

ALSO emyr's introduction?! i'm going to be thinking about it for weeks! he's just trying to lead his little gang of apostates and keep them save but ends up taking them into blight infested lands RIP

i'm so emo over him trying to distract the group with stories, all the angst over his mom's condition, obsessed with the mini conflict between him and his homie virvena (who suggested dropping the apostates cause they are dead weight) my dude my guy pls calm down ily but pls

it all went so badly tho im dying afdgdfgfd two mages missing and possibly dead, another mage and virvena injured, emyr got his eye gouged out by darkspawn, and whoops him and two of his homies are now going through the joining so they don't die from the taint🙃

me thinking about how rhydian has only had the Resting Bitch Face(tm) for the past few years and before that he was always smiling by default

—Artificer: How good is your muse at picking up new tools/skills? Are they proficient with any tools? How are they at making things with their own hands?

RHYDIAN — he’s very good at picking up new things as long as it’s hands on/he’s given verbal direction. if he has to read extensively it ain’t happening. mechanics wise he’s proficient in woodcarver’s tools (learned from his dad), thieves’ tools (learned from his bff from halamshiral), and leatherworker’s tools (which he’s been learning during the timeskip). he’s been making things with his hands (wood carvings/arrows) from a very young age and has pretty much mastered it at this point.

MAIZAKEEN — she spent her entire childhood learning different skills to fill her time. she’s good at quickly learning the basics of whatever she picks up, but she usually moved onto the next thing before mastering most of her random hobbies she tried (in true jack-of-all trades fashion). mechanically the only thing she is actually proficient in is a few instruments (violin, piano, harp) and weaver’s tools. she’s mastered making her own clothes, but if the work required something rougher on the hands she’d struggle a bit.

—Monk: How does your muse regulate their emotions? Are they in tune with themselves? How does your muse find peace?

RHYDIAN — BADLY! his emotions control him far more than the other way around. he's working on it though! he thought he was in tune with himself before his dad died. maybe he wasn't, and that's why he lost it after that who knows. he’s trying real hard to figure himself out with where he’s at now. his go to for centering himself/finding some peace is to be in nature, baring that he works with his hands.

MAIZAKEEN — she usually ends up burying any intense negative feelings, due to the fact that her ghosts/magic react to her heightened emotions and she wants to avoid that at all costs lest someone get hurt. she is very in tune with herself, but she is currently struggling with her perception of the outer world and how it makes her feel at the moment. if she needs to calm herself she plays music/sings or reads one of her favorite books (also being in her fiance's arms uwu)

—Rogue: How secretive is your muse? What are they secretive about? What would it take for your muse to spill their secrets?

RHYDIAN — he doesn’t keep secrets as much as he just dislikes talking about his negative emotions. so he just avoids talking about certain things unless directly asked or if it is relevant to bring up. he is like the biggest truther ever and doesn’t really have anything to be secretive about at the moment. it would honestly take a lot for him to deliberately keep something from people, especially people he cares about.

MAIZAKEEN — generally she is an open book. if she makes a mistake she will own up to it and won’t keep that sort of thing a secret. however….she really keeps her insecurities close to her chest. and her biggest secret is just how bad her ghost problem really is. like she has a whole as shadowy boogey man that only she can see/hear and she has yet to tell anyone in the party about it yet lmao she had told her father when it first appeared and they tried to figure out what to do about it but so far have found nothing. so she is just vibing with it for now as he's just kinda there. if anything happens with this thing externally she will front up about it instantly though.

—Bard: How does your muse handle social situations? Are they personable, charming, awkward, shy? How does your muse respond to being the center of attention?

RHYDIAN — uhhhh terribly rip! he’s just so incredibly awkward my poor boy. and he’s always been that way even in the before times (pre-trauma and resting bitch face lmao). as for being the center of attention? he doesn’t handle it super well tbh he’d rather be a supporting character thank you don’t look at him

MAIZAKEEN — she’s pretty good at handling social encounters, even if she is an anxious wreck on the inside. she’s always nervous meeting new people, worried that her ghosts will cause a scene. she’s generally quiet and polite, can be quite charming when she wants to be. as long as the reason she is the center of attention is her performing she’s doing great she lives for that shit

—Paladin: What does your muse fight for? What tenets or oaths drive them? Have they ever had to break a vow, and if they have, why?

RHYDIAN — my knee jerk reaction was Justice. he has been keenly aware of the injustice toward his elven people and to mages from a young age. he just wants to protect/help people like his parents taught him to do. he feels that is his purpose in life, which is part of why he is struggling with the recent murders he’s been involved in. his father was pretty much a pacifist, which rhydian felt was not a viable way. however…the recent blood on his hands and the Guilt? that ain’t working either chief. he’s really trying to find a balance in future.

MAIZAKEEN — at the moment she’s just (literally) fighting in self-defense and to protect her friends/people they meet on their travels. but I can see it now…as she learns in detail the injustices of the world she is going to become such a little activist (even if it gets her in trouble). she has never had to break a vow and I am scared to find out what it would take for her to break one tbh

—Ranger: What is your muse's preferred environment? How good is your muse at fitting in with the world around them? Can they survive on their own, or do they need support?

—Cleric: Does your muse believe in any god or follow any religion? What drives their faith? Or, if they're faithless, why? What would it take for them to find faith in something or someone?

RHYDIAN — his mother is dalish and taught him all about the elven pantheon. he holds a great amount of respect for the culture of his people and holds onto this quiet faith of his dearly. another source of his rage is how people are trying to eradicate his people’s culture/religion so yeah it’s very important to him even if he doesn’t talk about it much (also I myself need to brush up on it so I can actually talk about it if it comes up in game lol)

MAIZAKEEN — truthfully she has never really thought about the gods at all other than like in the context of stories. but that’s fair given how absent the gods are in her world. she does have faith in the “good in people” (thought that is being shaken like every session lmao)

—Ranger: What is your muse's preferred environment? How good is your muse at fitting in with the world around them? Can they survive on their own, or do they need support?

RHYDIAN — preferred environment? THE FOREST. he absolutely thrives there and feels at peace. fitting in elsewhere has been a struggle for him honestly. in theory he could probably survive on his own cause he is a scrappy little guy, however he would be terrified out of his mind and extremely lonely.

MAIZAKEEN — she prefers to be around close friends, whether that’s on a crazy adventure or sitting quietly in a library. she grew up very lonely and always craved friendship and now that's all she wants to have around. baby girl has never fit in with all her ghost nonsense and honestly has stopped trying. she’s just trying to vibe and have a good time. she absolutely cannot survive on her own. she was not built to be alone. she’d probably cry herself to death.  

—Wizard: What is your muse like as a student? Do they have the patience for studying? What do they like learning about? What do they most want to know?

RHYDIAN — a quiet student, not surprisingly lol he’s the kind that can silently watch how something is done and pick it up quickly. if it is hands on he is a well of endless patience. however his reading skill isn’t the best so if he has to read he will grow frustrated after a bit. he loves learning about nature (he’s got a little sketch book of plants and animals). honestly he is probably very curious about darkspawn in a technical sense (where is his nature documentary on the blight!)  

MAIZAKEEN — also kind of a quiet student, but she will ask so many questions if something piques her interest. she is a very patient person in general and most of her childhood was spent studying. she adored learning music growing up. right now she really wants to know how the government works and how the system is treating everyone, cause apparently there is a rebellion and she thought everything was going ok lmao
