Okay. Re-watched the Hades II trailer and I completely forgot it seems like you’ll be fighting in the underworld. Between what looks like the Underworld with the shades milling around and Apollo’s once scene - “Least I can do is light your way down.” - I think we might be fighting/breaking into the underworld, the complete opposite of what we did with Zagreus in the previous game. Which brings me to this; what if - what if - we come across everyone we’ve loved in the first game - Orpheus, Achillies, Cerberus, Dusa, ect - frozen in time because of Chronos? And they’re all frozen in states of surprise or anger or in a fighting stance? What if, as Melinoe, we interact with these frozen statues and Melinoe shares a memory of her interacting with them when she was a child? A memory of Melinoe of being wowed by Achillies. Of sitting at the feet of Orpheus and listening to his songs. Of following Dusa around while she cleans. Of playing fetch with Cerberus or riding on his back with Zagreus. Memories of her with every friend Zagreus has made and loved, and each is more heartbreaking than the last? What if
