#centaurworld season 2 spoilers

just watched centaurworld and you cannot tell me there wasn't conflict in the writer's room about horse x rider
(screenshots below including the finale so spoilers)
so in S2E4 Horse says this refering to Becky Apples
Tumblr media
and then later that very same episode she says this to wamawink comparing the situation between her and jeffica to horse and becky apple's situation
Tumblr media
what are these mixed messages I'm being given
then in the series finale the nowhere king compares himself to horse
Tumblr media
in regards to the situation between them and their "humans"
Tumblr media
the situation between the nowhere king and his "human" being very much romantic
and then there's how sensual they made all of these scenes
Tumblr media Tumblr media
and there's many times where it looks like they almost kiss
Tumblr media
and the whole U-Haul lesbian thing in regards to this
Tumblr media
but then there's all this
Tumblr media
so in conclusion I think there was conflict in the writer's room about this so there's multiple things pointing both ways and to be clear I don't condone this ship I just wanted to publish my thoughts on what happened to make this how it is, and if you're trying to think of a reason why this could have happened in canon then perhaps the centaurworld's anthropomorphism of Horse it turned horse's bond to rider into a romantic one because the bond between a horse and their rider isn't really something that exists between two anthropomorphic beings

Got this song stuck in my head:
Once shattered, now whole
Once whole, now united
Once united, now eternal
I swear, I will never stop thinking about you
You have come to set me free
Love is a spark
And if you should hurt me I'll always forgive you
Love's an evergrowing blaze
You are a part of me
I will never part from you
Once shattered, now whole
She was meant to be mine
Once whole, now united
Once united, now eternal
And my love for her runs eternal
And with this ring I pledge
Never to leave your side
Even through hardship and darkness and pain
From you I won't hide
Once shattered, now whole
Once whole, now united
Once united, now eternal
-Woman, General, both of them and Noone from Centaurworld
And while it is a beautiful song and a beautiful scene, I wrote down the lyrics specifically to appreciate how amazingly they foreshadow that what the Elktaur felt (at least by this point) wasn't love, just a crazy obsession with Woman. Also the song, by describing how he feels about her, also showcases how he doesn't feel about himself, even when he should.
"I swear, I will never stop thinking about you": already starting kinda obsessive, but okay, if you're feshly in love or do something big like a wedding, I can see how you might proclaim something like that. The fact that he follows through with it even while they haven't seen each other in ages is kinda creepy, but still something that might be viewed as romantic. But if you ask me, he should maybe have spent less time thinking about her and more time trying to think like her. She loved centaurworld, she loved the rift connection between both worlds and wanted it to be open, she was given to kindness for all things. And by splitting and keeping himself in halves and thus creating the Nowhere King he ruined all of that for her.
"And if you should hurt me I'll always forgive you": again, weird sentiment that might be okay on such an emotional day, but if you think about it, actually not a good sign. Like, General, my guy, if your partner hurts you (repeatedly), they should not just get absolution for that from the start. That's not healthy. Also, where's even a fraction of that forgiveness towards yourself?
"You are a part of me": you know who is even more a part of you, General? Hm? Do you?
"I will never part from you": well, I suppose at least they're matched in their unhealthy relationship ideals?
"She was meant to be mine": she belongs to noone but herself, Noone. And if you truely loved her you would a) be happy she found someone and b) not stalk around on her wedding uninvited.
"Even through hardship and darkness and pain, From you I won't hide": for one - General, you lying fucking ass. You literally tore yourself in half just to hide you centaur half from Woman. And once again, where's that sentiment for yourself? So you can stick with this random human through hardship, darkness and pain, but not with yourself? I think you might have the wrong priorities here, my guy.
So yeah, in conclusion Elktaur should probably have been comfortable saying all of this to himself before going around throwing it at someone else.

More healthy mysteryelk au ahoy! (forgot I was working on this for a sec, I have like 3 more buzzing around) I h/c that he really loves playing with and braiding her hair c: She enjoys it just as much as he does, so they slipped away to his world to spend some time together.
This was intended to just be flats but uh I got carried away for a sec. Oops.

Hey guys. The fact that Ched makes an egg with a skeletal human means that any creature of any gender can make a baby in centaurworld. Cheer up, okay?

one thing that irked me about the centaurworld finale was when horse revealed the true identity of the nowhere king and rider pulled that "you're just a horse" bs. I remember watching that for the first time and I had to pause the show because it sounded so out of character for her. yeah, she just heard something absolutely batshit insane that goes against everything she knows, but belittling horse- her best friend and sister- doesn't feel right. I think it would have been far more devastating if, when horse told rider to trust her, she responded with "just this once, I can't" because I know that would have killed me

If you were to hang around in centaurworld long enough, what do you think would be the (first) thing on you that would centaur-ify?
i like to believe id pick up magic pretty quickly even if i bumble it a lot at first, but physically it seems that small things like hair and eyes are the first to change! I cant imagine what it look like with fluffy hair tho, but i would LOVE having fun funky eyes
(also a tail and scary teef pls thank you)

I think I’ve seen other people bring this up before, but the connection between the General and the Nowhere King kinda makes me rethink the events of The Rift Part 2, where Rider almost kills the NWK. How was the General affected by that?
Like, do you think he was just. going about his day, then all of a sudden, he just gets this massive stab wound that almost takes his life right then and there? Then, after a short while, it slowly heals and closes over as if it was never there? Do you think he would have been surprised by that happening, or did he figure that it was only a matter of time before someone opened the Rift and found the NWK?
How traumatizing that must have been - to almost violently die out of nowhere, even though no one attacked him directly… combining that with the sense of dread he must have felt, realizing that as powerful as his other half is, even he’s not invincible, and someone could feasibly kill them both without even realizing it.

what's your centaurworld opinions?
Tumblr media
spoilers below if you care.
I'm so torn on that show, because there are parts where I think it's beautiful and compelling and visually stunning, but there are also parts where I'm just... so disappointed in it? Like, I commend it for being out there and taking risks and trying to be different, but like...
You know the opening scene in the very first episode? Before Horse ends up in Centaurworld? And we get the whole Rider's Lullaby Thing before Horse and Rider get seperated? After that I was immediately, like... so disappointed. Because right off the bat I was like! Well... I don't care about this world or this story, quite frankly, I care about that world that we saw before! about Horse's world! About her and Rider! And, like, yes, I know the plot is about "oh this is how Horse gets back to her world and gets back to Rider," but, like, at least for me, none of the Centaurworld characters really won me over, esp not at first. I didn't give a shit about them or their world! So they were really just... in the way. They were obstacles standing in between me and getting to see more of Horse and Rider's story, and that's, like, idk, maybe not what you want? For your main cast?
That's not to say that I hated it, because I didn't hate the first season! There were episodes and moments that I enjoyed, and I liked most of the music, as well, but I really wasn't a fan of the second season at all.
I HATED the birdtaur episode. Like! I HATED the whole gimmick where they treated Horse and her Herd as a 'TV show' and the main cast were all annoyed at them for 'treating their lives live entertainment' and judging Horse's decision to split up with Rider as like? A kind of subtle jab at criticisms from fans because it... it doesn't work!? Like, in the show, Horse's main defense against the Birdtaurs saying that the ending of season 1 wasn't good and 'felt empty' since they did all this build-up to reunite with Rider only to immediately leave her again was "well this is my real life!!!"
Okay, but, like... it's still a TV show. If the Birdtaurs are a stand-in for real Centaurworld fans, then Horse's defense... doesn't work at all? Because it's not her real life. It's a make-believe TV show. That you seemingly have no actual defense for. (Because it's... it's valid criticism, actually...) Also just in general making fun of your own fans is, like... stupid, I think.
I also feel like season 2 totally assassinated Wammawink's character? I liked her in season 1! She was overbearing and protective and a bit much sometimes, but one of her main character traits is that she loves her herd and is their caretaker, and she wants to ensure they're safe and protected at all times... in season 2 she just? Doesn't seem to care about them at all? She spends the entire second season just being so self-absorbed and catty the entire time, and it makes no sense.
I didn't like Durpleton, Glendale, or Ched at all, they were all just... too annoying for me to enjoy.
I'm still fucking mad that literally ALL the main cast got at least some kind of backstory/side-story type thing... except Zulius, for some reason? Despite being a fan-favorite (and my personal fav because I mean. Come ON. He's just fun.)
I understand it's a kid's show and they're gonna have silly moments and jokes and comic relief, etc etc etc, okay, sure, there will be fart jokes, fine, not my taste but it's fine it wasn't made for me, whatever. But it often felt like... the show wasn't allowed to breathe? There was no point where it truly took itself seriously. There always had to be some dumb heeheehaha fart joke shoehorned in. Which is, like, fine, if you wanna be a fart joke show, that's fine! It's just that Centaurworld also tries to be an edgy drama at the same time, and it just... I don't think it pulls off being both. Comedy and drama can definitely exist at the same time but! There are times when you have to allow the show to be one or another! Is this a dramatic character moment? Just be a dramatic character moment! It often felt like Centaurworld truly was not capable of even having a single scene with some 'bad-dum-ts' fart joke moment in it, which made it very hard for me to? Take any of it seriously or enjoy it.
Also, I hated the Nowhere King's story. I thought he was so dumb and uncompelling. I know he's the bad guy and you're not supposed to LIKE him but like? When they told us the backstory I think they expected us to, you know, feel SORRY for him? And I didn't! At all! I found no part of his story to be sympathetic. That guy was just a fucking idiot the whole way through, just repeatedly shooting himself in the foot by being this self-important "I'm not like other centaurs" dude while at the same time being all "woe is me this girl will never like me since I'm a centaur so I won't even ATTEMPT to get to know her at all, I'm gonna jump straight to crimes against nature and deceiving her." I thought that guy was stupid and I did not care about him.
ALSO? HOW THE FUCK DOES THE PORTAL KEY WORK? Like??? It makes NO sense to me??? Like, sure, apparently, it keeps the Rift open to connect the two worlds or whatever, I guess, but then it also like, just... does other magick? It can just??? Separate centaurs, for some fucking reason? Which I don't understand? Is that just what the key does? Open the rift AND de-centaur people? Or is it just a generic magick item that can do anything? But then also the Nowhere King could make minotaurs... without the key??? It makes no fucking sense to me and I think it's dumb.
... I like the songs, though, and the animation is really pretty. Also I thought the ending was dumb lol.

I LOVE HOW THE NOWHERE KING IS WRITTEN.
the title says it all!
Tumblr media
but lemme go more in depth. centaurworld spoilers under the cut.
OK. so let me get started. basically where it starts is only being mentioned by name maybe TWICE before the season finale? and you forget all about it by the time you get there, due to the shows Wacky Antics and what not… but hes never truly elaborated upon? which i really like? its just a really vague lullaby that sounds really nice and then you hear the lyrics and ur like "Oh Yeah Ok i guess." and then you get to the rift, horse and rider meet up and for like 2 seconds ur like "HOORAY!" and then the GOOP starts dripping and ur like "oh nah." and then one of the hardest villain designs in fiction just APPEARS? and hes IMMEDIATELY on their ass about the key. standard villain affair after that, but he gets WAY more interesting later. trust. something that rlly sticks out to me abt the rift pt 1 and 2 is the line of "i intended to spare you all." which IM PRETTY SURE I DIDNT HALLUCINATE BUT STILL. thats just so????? What did he mean by that. also i like how when the woman appears, he IMMEDIATELY kneels and says "i never stopped thinking about you." we LOVE foreshadowing.
Tumblr media
and then she DOES end up stabbing him, just not fatally. he escapes to the human world after they "smash his skull" and "kill him", while they all head to centaurworld. so far Yeah I Guess It ain't much but it does set up something later.
after this, in season 2, we're introduced to the general (He will be important.)
hes not rn but he will be. anywho, the nowhere king goes back to the human world, and starts amassing more of his army. he begins doing some Crazy Ass Shit fusing animals together to make super minotaurs, and just. villain affair yeah.
his story doesnt really pick up until the last episode, where horse uses her backstory magic to see whats inside of him. and as much as she sees, its just a black void.. til she does something and.
Tumblr media
WHAT THE FUCK. normal ass elk in his brain ig?
so he introduces himself, and comments on how similar him and horse really are. horse asks wheres the nowhere king and hes like "oh. thats me. im a part of him." and then he gets hit with the "nowhere king is nothing but evil and you seem really nice!!! what do you mean youre a part of him?"
and then HERE WE FUCKING GO.
im doing this chronologically in order of timeframe when it all happened, not in timeframe of the show.
so its revealed that he USED TO BE A CENTAUR. particularly an elktaur, who was a mechanic who worked on the rift.
Tumblr media
^ look at him.
and he kind of HATES it. he wishes he wasnt a centaur because as humans travel in and out of centaurworld, they always have to make some passing remark about how centaurs are seen as lesser than humans, to the point where he Literally Just Shoves someone through the portal to get them to stfu which. That was so fucking real of him. not to mention he literally just fixed an interdimensional portal from bugging out which ungrateful??????????? wtf u couldve died?????
then he meets this human princess.
Tumblr media
standard love at first sight affair. he IMMEDIATELY becomes flustered as soon as shes like "we'll tell him the reason we were able to get back at all." while smiling at him.
(hi elktaur.)
ANYWHO she then leaves centaurworld, and throws a party for him at the human world for. Securing the safe travels of everyone between dimensions.
Tumblr media
this booboo ass cake.
she then points out how hes missing his antlers, and rather has a hat on. to which he replies, "they fell off!" Oh we'll get to that
Tumblr media
do they know how to eat a fucking cake. Sorry im getting too offtopic anyways
he then presents her with 2/6 key pieces, to which she fuses them together and makes one whole. she comments on how shes learned a lot about magic from being in centaurworld, and how you need to respect "both sides" which is going to be a MAJOR theme for these two.
he does feel, that the love isn't real though, or that it wouldnt work, due to the way he was. which was, a centaur. And we will get to what he did dont you worry
this is where we find out what happened to those antlers of his.
Tumblr media
HE FUCKING SAWED THEM OFF. to appear more human.
he then tests the magic of the key by taking a turnip to the rift, and firing some sort of blast at it. and what hes resulted with is
it being separated into 2 things. Naturally you can see where this is going so ill cut to the chase. he blasts it at himself, hoping hell lose the side of him thats a beast, and hell be fully human, but then..
THATS RIGHT. THE FUCKING GENERAL IS THE "HUMAN HALF" OF HIM. when i saw this shit for the first time i YELLED.
the elk then proceeded to have a perfectly understandable panic attack. to which horse tries to comfort him, only going to another memory.
the elk and general confront eachother, with the elk saying "we made a mistake." and the general just absentmindedly going "yeah i shouldve invited you to the wedding lol" because he DID in fact marry the princess.
he tries to convince the other half of himself to undo the mistake theyve made, saying "we didnt even try. she couldve loved us how we were." only to be followed with, "no, she loves ME." and he straight up STARTS DROWNING THE ELK????
fortunately, it doesnt end up working.
theyre still connected. whatever affects one, affects the other. meaning that he dies if he kills the elk. so what does he do instead? well, captures him of course.
and its never shown on screen, but its stated he put him in the castles deepest dungeon, a windowless cell, which he couldnt even STAND in, for a decade.
by the time he escapes he. is a LITTLE screwed in the head. understandably. so he thinks to make his own family, by fusing humans and beasts.
he's made the first minotaur.
and this scene is especially rough because you can just SEE his slow decline into the nowhere king.
Tumblr media
this is accentuated with him telling himself "i don't belong anywhere."
Tumblr media
the self hatred fucking GOT him.
and he just starts to look worse and worse every time he spins that key.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh hey look at that hes starting to look kinda familiar
Tumblr media Tumblr media
THERE WE AREEEEEEE!!!!!!
then we're brought to a scene where the princess takes the key out. to which she reality checks the FUCK out of the general.
"whatre you doing? put that thing down! havent you seen what it's done to him?"
"you locked him away in the dungeons. did you think there would be no effect?"
the princess then shatters the key, being thrown into centaurworld, with the general being thrown into the human world, and the elk -- now, nowhere king, being locked in the rift, as both doors close.
then stuff happens w rider and horse ig but this aint abt them sorry whats important is that the general tries to kill rider for shooting at the nowhere king
the princess, then appears and the general tries to counsel with her. "i had to do it! i had to do it so i could stay with you!
(images stop here bc i put too many above)
the princess then SNAPS and has her horse kick general off a cliff, to which the nowhere king follows him down.
the princess also follows them down, and uses the key, saying "let me see you how you were. one last time."
she tells him she would have loved him the way he was, after all.
and then.. she brings back the key scepter, and starts SINGING A REPRISE OF THE LULLABY FROM ALL THE WAY BACK IN THE BEGINNING, AS SHE WINDS UP AND..
ending the tale of the elk and the general, for good.
in conclusion, i am REALLY obsessed with the character and how they handled the nowhere king. the feeling of being a hopeless romantic, but having that feeling that youd NEVER be accepted, so fundamentally changing yourself and ripping yourself in half, ending up in fucking up both you, and the one you just wanted to be with, for good. not to mention the allegories for internalized racism, self-hatred, and dissociation, and GOD man hes just so fucking well written. this entire story is so well written and heartfelt, and its just. so surprising for a joke with such. Ehhh humor at points that theres this story thats so. heartfelt and dealt with so much care in the final episode thats been built on over the course of the series.
tl;dr hopeless romantic who gets racially profiled splits himself in half. shocked to learn he hurt his lover as well and gets killed for it.
tl;dr tl;dr elktaur rolls "Worst Idea Ever". asked to leave mortal plane.

My Top 12 TGaMM S2 songs (in no particular order)
Kinda like in Centaurworld, I found more songs in S1 than S2 that I liked but that's not to say that the songs weren't enjoyable. It's just a shame I won't be able to make a S3 list T_T
Anyways, here's my Top 12 TGaMM S2 songs in no particular order:
12. Frightful No More [A Doll to Die For]
youtube
It's great to hear Lord Hater again and a song that's an homage to "Everything's Coming Up Roses" (Gypsy) and "The Rain in Spain" (My Fair Lady)...at least that's what it make me think of.
11. It's Just Your Masterpiece in You [Faint of Art]
youtube
This episode was a pretty nice message on art block and a fear of failure that a lot of artists face, especially when they haven't done anything in years. I tend to procrastinate by snacking, which of course I can't draw with food fingers (even when using a napkin) so I gotta wait till it goes away, oh whoops, now the days ended, oh well, tomorrow...
10.Thai Culture Cram [100% Molly McGee]
A fun song showing the lengths that Molly is willing to go to learn half of her culture. Granted she didn't realize that this stuff takes time but she's on the right path.
9.Me & My Dad [Like Father, Like Libby]
youtube
Kid's who have an absentee parent def felt what Libby is singing about in this one. It just sucks when someone who should be important in your life, doesn't take it as serious as you'd wish they would.
8. Hit Restart [Perfect Day]
Gotta love how relaxed the singer is while describing the continuiously hectic attempts Molly and Scratch make at having a perfect first day of the year.
7. Identity Crisis [Davenport's in Demise]
youtube
It's a shame we didn't get more from Andrea this season, especially after this ep. I know we would've gotten her and Alina in S3 but still, I would've liked to see how her and Molly are friends
6. Maybe Next Time [The End] (Spoilers)
youtube
Scratch's backstory was a gut-punch, especially for those of us that feel like we're wasting our lives away. It does kinda remind me of a more sad version of "I Remember It Well" (Gigi)
5. Enjoy Your Afterlife [The New (Para)Normal]
A fun song with the Ghost Council about life after the Chairman's defeat that kinda reminds me of "Go Back to City Hall" in S1
4. You Got to Be Low-Key [The (After)Life of the Party]
youtube
Jinx is such a little shit in this song. Not to mention this was the ep that confirmed that Geoff and Jeff are married
3. Back to Misery [Jinx vs the Human World]
Gotta love a villain song. Just a shame we didn't get more.
2. Trying to Find [All in the Mind]
youtube
Love the abstract visuals of going through someone's mind and the soft vocals and instrumentals.
Honorable Mention 1: You've Been Jinxed [Jinx!]
Honorable Mention 2: Feeling Like MY Old Self Again/Small Town America [Kenny's Falling Star]
Honorable Mention 3: Happy Happy Death Day [The Many Lives of Scratch]
1.This House is Haunted [Frightmares on Main Street]
youtube
Love this homage to "Thriller" but it's also to see ghosts being able to let loose. A great Halloween special
As stated before, it's a shame that we won't get anymore eps but at least what we've gotten were great. Idk if I should do an overall list

Centaurworld Essay Questions Part 2 (Now with spoilers!)
Tumblr media
1. Discuss the portrayal of the Nowhere King and all his various counterparts as a metaphor for toxic masculinity.
2. Compare and contrast the jealousy Wamawink displays for Jeffica with the jealousy Horse displays for Becky Apples.
3. Utilize the Who Is She/Who Was She song series to discuss how Horse's way of defining herself changes throughout the series.
4. Elk is cast away by both the General and the Woman at different parts of the story. Compare and contrast the circumstances that drove each to cast him away, and the ultimate consequences of those actions on both the General and the Woman as well as on those around them.
5. In episode 3 of Season 1, Horse tells the herd they can't just build a houseboat from decoration, but instead must make sure they build something of substance first, with decoration being the last step. Discuss how the creators of the show reflect (or perhaps don't reflect) this philosophy in their approach to the series as a whole.
*Extra Credit: What's up with West Covina and/or Becky Apples?

Centaurworld Theory Post
hi so this post contains major spoilers for like. the entirety of centaurworld. i highly recommend anyone who hasn’t watched it already takes some time to do so. it’s made me insane.
I don’t make meta posts, generally, so bear with me as this may be unorganized.
so rider is the general and woman’s daughter. or, she was meant to be at some point in the writing process. This is me making a wild swing in the dark based on my thought process while watching--nothing is confirmed.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
To begin with--I was stricken immediately upon seeing The General for the first time with the thought, “is that her dad?“ And then she started talking to him as a stranger. She had no idea who he was. There are only so many “named” humans in Centaurworld, and it feels...significant, that the two of them bear such a close resemblance.
Rider’s skin is darker than General’s or Woman’s, but her hair and eye color are very similar to her would-be father’s. Plus she has his eyebrow shape.
Rider is, as far as we know, an orphan. Her parents died in the war.
That would be a convenient cover-up for the fact that General discarded her when his wife disappeared, no longer interested in playing house without her present--instead he can play the role of a big, strong, serious man, a leader, without being bogged down by a fragile little thing like a child.
My boyfriend and I have considered that he may not have done this had she looked more like her mom--but as it happens, she looks much more like her father, and as the show establishes, deep down, he doesn’t like himself very much at all.
The fact that Rider becomes a soldier, chasing General’s approval, her own father’s approval, is a cruel twist of fate. She wants to be taken seriously. Wants to be seen as someone serious and important.
The first thing General does when meeting her, of course, is undermine that. It’s not personal, he’s just a dick. I don’t think he immediately recognized her as his daughter. He probably doesn’t think of her much at all--he seems very involved with himself and thoughts of Woman.
But...he seems to take a liking to her. Seems to warm up to her--not in the supportive, fatherly way he should, but he sees a malleable pawn who wants his approval, and he takes advantage of that. Rider would have died for General before even meeting him, and he knows he can make use of that loyalty.
Still--at some point he does recognize that. Before the final battle, I think the reveal would have come--that he’s figured it out, that he’s recognized her, and to seal that loyalty she has in him, he’s going to tell her. That he had a daughter once. That he had to give her up for adoption because of the war, because with the life he leads, it wouldn’t have been safe. He probably would have fed her some line about how fitting it is that after all these years, she found her way to him. She followed in his footsteps and grew to be a soldier he’s proud to call his daughter.
Why the fuck else would Rider look at her best friend--for so long, her only friend--and tell her, “You’re just a horse.“
Why else would she say that if not because she was blinded by a connection she was convinced was stronger, more meaningful, than that? Sure, General is condescending about centaurs and animals like horses from the get-go, and there could be some bleedover from that attitude, since Rider has been around him so much in season 2.
But it makes so much more sense to me that her faith in Horse would falter in the face of General, who she looks up to so much, who she now knows is her father.
Her father, who--when Rider is willing to risk everything to kill the Nowhere King--finally sacrifices that perfect pawn without a thought. Without hesitation.
She looks so much like him, after all--and he’s discarded parts of himself before. It’s easy to do it again.
General stabs Rider without hesitation or remorse, and leaves her there.
And then Woman arrives.
Woman arrives, too late, and sees Rider on the ground. She recognizes her immediately. Knows General did this.
And that’s what pushes her to finally, finally end him. She couldn’t before. And she arrived now, resolved to fix that--but seeing their daughter on the ground, dead over a war that never should have happened, is the final straw.
I don’t know why Woman doesn’t try to establish any sort of relationship with Rider after this. Maybe she feels she doesn’t have a right. Maybe she thinks she’d be a poor mother, now. Maybe she thinks Rider doesn’t need one.
But here’s something my boyfriend (@chaosflight, by the way <3) pointed out:
Tumblr media
Rider’s hair tints a dark pinkish purple when she gets comfortable in Centaurworld. It’s not light, like her mother’s, but it’s still a fantastical hue.
And it does make her look just a bit less like her father. More like an individual. Her own person, finally.
