Greg unfortunately falls into the "loser" category due to a combination of factors inherent to his character.

Firstly, Greg lacks the assertiveness and strategic thinking that his cousin Craig possesses. While Craig is busy plotting world domination, Greg is more likely found chasing his tail or begging for scraps. His lack of ambition and drive sets him apart as a follower rather than a leader.

Secondly, Greg's clumsiness and propensity for mischief often land him in trouble. Whether he's knocking over the trash can or getting tangled in the neighbor's garden hose, Greg's antics tend to result in chaos rather than triumph. His inability to stay out of trouble earns him a reputation as a lovable but hapless loser.

“Hello? Marinette?”

“H-hey, um--” Marinette glanced worriedly out the window as she held her smartphone to her ear. “Luka? Do you have room for one more on your tour with Jagged?”

“What?” Luka’s voice immediately grew concerned. “Is something wrong? And what’s that noise in the--”

“EEK!”

Marinette threw herself off to the side, the glass of her window shattering as an object was flung through. She covered her head for protection, waiting for the sound of the object to hit the floor to look back over and survey the damage.

“Marinette!” Luka cried out, panicked. “What’s happening?! Is Monarch attacking?!”

“N-not exactly.” She breathed. “It...it’s worse. Let’s just say that, um, Ladybug found her limit and isn’t dealing with this. Who knows if the new hero will be up to this anyway, and I’m not taking that risk.” She then stood, checking herself over for glass shards. “Do you know Miss Bustier?”

There was a pause as Luka processed, briefly thrown off by the sudden question. After a moment, he replied hesitantly, “I’ve heard... stories.”

“Yeah.” Marinette peeked outside, the sound of firetrucks and police cars even louder without the window muffling it. Buildings were broken, people were screaming and panicked, and the air was hot from all the fire. She could also swear that it wasn’t late enough for the sky to be so dark.

“Well, she’s mayor now,” Marinette explained.

“...”

There was a rustling noise on Luka’s end, followed by the reassurance of, “I’m on my way. Stay safe.”

So I literally just finished watching Alderamin on the Sky and let me tell you. A smart protagonist who specializes in strategy and aren't ones for physical battle? Charismatic and a good leader who proceeds to act shocked when the troops love him? Unintentional hero who just wants to laze about and sleep? Has some sort of past involving the deaths of loved ones which led to their current goal/attitude? Has a badass red haired lady by their side? TCF fans may I introduce you to Alderamin on the Sky.

a message to ppl with adhd/depression/anyone in general who gets overwhelmed w cleaning:

u can just. sort ur stuff into trash bags. u can deal with the contents later. even if it all just ends up back on ur floor or whatever it’s fine! its nice to just have a clean floor sometimes even if it’s only for a bit

#especially helpful for if u need to have a presentable room or something on short notice #just use trash bags for as much stuff as possible #even if there’s stuff that can’t just be thrown in a bag/box it’s still less overwhelming when there’s less mess #also personally i like to sort stuff into bags based on like general category #for example i’ll do all clothes and then like all stuff that goes in my closet and all stuff that goes by my desk #and then u can take it one section at a time #but u can also just throw everything together it doesn’t matter #there are no rules to self care and im counting this as a self care win #not stranger things #adhd #depression room
