An diesem Abend war ich mit @p__asci spontan auf den Gofi, um das Schloss Lenzburg im Kanton Aargau in der untergehenden Sonne abzulichten. Pünktlich zeigte sich die Sonne ganz kurz, bevor sie sich schlafen legte. Immer wieder wunderschön, solche Momente geniessen zu können.

EINE REISE IN DIE TOSKANA

Torre a Cona – Die Ankunft

Nichts bereitet den Besucher auf den unvergleichlichen Anblick von Torre a Cona vor. Weder der fahle Umriss eines Turms aus der Ferne noch die Schemen sonnenbeschienener Zinnen zwischen dunklen Zypressen. Hoch hinauf in die Hügel von Florenz führt der Weg und es scheint, als kokettiere das fast 300 Jahrealte Schloss zunächst mit einem Versteckspiel, bevor es schließlich doch seine Aufwartung macht. Gleich nach der ersten Kurve - hat man das Dorf San Donato in Collina erst hinter sich gelassen – ragt es plötzlich golden und prächtig vor einem auf. So frontal, als stünde es mitten auf dem Weg.

Schon damals bei unserer ersten Begegnung war das von atemberaubender Wirkung und hat auch jetzt, beinahe zwanzig Jahre später, nichts davon verloren. Zehn Tage dürfen wir bleiben. An diesem weltentlegenen, schönheitstrunkenen Ort, der wie kein anderer das Gefühl vollkommener Privatheit zu vermitteln weiß.

Vor uns liegt eine traumwandlerische Zeit, in der ein olivenbaumgesäumter Pfad, ein rotes Haus und der Welt schönster Pool die Hauptrollen spielen. Von all diesen Eindrücken wollen wir in den nächsten Wochen erzählen. Und von dem unbestreitbaren Gefühl, nicht nur Urlauber, sondern selbst ein bisschen Herr über dieses Stück Land gewesen zu sein.

GER//ENG in 1st comment// Ich bewege mich im Moment coronabedingt ausschließlich rund um meine Heimatstadt. Aktuelle Bilder wie dieses (eine Woche alt) gibt es also nur von zu Hause! Ich werde die nächsten Tage noch etliche Bilder von Ahrweiler zeigen. Hier zu sehen das Ahrtor, das südlichste Stadttor von Ahrweiler. Fotografiert vom Weg am Ahrtorfriedhof vorbei, dessen Mauer rechts zu sehen ist. Zum Ahrtor habe hier schon viel geschrieben deshalb nur die Kernfakten: Das aus einem fünfgeschossigen Torturm und zwei flankierenden dreigeschossigen Halbtürmen bestehende Ahrtor ist das größte der vier Tore im Ring der Stadtbefestigung Ahrweiler. Es hat eine Traufhöhe von 23,5 Metern und eine Gesamthöhe von 29 Metern und wurde im Jahr 1297 als Teil der (fast vollständig erhaltenen!) mittelalterlichen Stadtbefestigung von Ahrweiler erbaut. Bei einem Bombenangriff auf Ahrweiler am 29. Januar 1945 wurde das Tor fast vollständig zerstört. Lediglich der Torbogen und die Rümpfe der beiden Flügel blieben stehen. Mit Hilfe von Spenden wurde das Stadttor bis 1957 wieder aufgebaut (Die Geschosshöhe bei den drei Türmen wurde allerdings um je eine Etage verringert)und um einen – nicht authentischen – begehbaren Wehrgang im Westen ergänzt. Im Zuge der gerade von 2121 auf 2022 verschobenen Landesgartenschau soll auch das Ahrtor selbst für Besucher zugänglich gemacht werden - erstmals seit der Kriegszerstörung. 🇮🇹 Torrechiara - Langhirano - Parma. I'antico e suggestivo borgo sorto attorno al castello costruito nel 1400 con tratti sia Medievali che rinascimentali. Posto all'inizio della val di Parma. Castello a cui si affianca il grazioso omonimo borgo. Voluto dal conte Pier Maria II Dė Rossi quale nido d'amore per la sua amante Bianca Pellegrini. Uno dei più scenografici e meglio conservati castelli d'Italia. Già nel 1259 vi era un primo insediamento.
