She hasn't really changed design wise since then bc she's already 10/10, but also she can look like this if u didn't know:

and while Cass is pretty full of herself, she did NOT initially vibe at all with this look when it inevitably happened (due to her dragon parasite... who woulda thonked), and she got self-conscious about it....... but no worries, she got her bestie to help her out (also just look how god damn huge she is & also just look at this drawing it's one of my all time faves fr)

so no, she does wear both shoes and the reasons why is

1) she didn't really think about not wearing both shoes even after getting clawed beans

2) also due to the changes of her appearance, her legs are not completely even, so she wears boots that take that into account

which is also why her boots have heels :p

as to why she'd only wear one sock is because Roger definitely got her (right) socks with paw prints, so she could match with her left foot and that's cute

OC Lore... from their playlists?

WELP time to expose what’s going on up in my ocs’ heads.

The way I structure my playlists for my ocs is like.... making the top 3 songs the ones I feel says basically everything about them and then the rest just solidifies what the first couple of songs establish.

Of course like. 3 songs is pretty limiting and ALL the songs have some meaning, but I try to order the playlist in a way that either expresses their journey or somewhat categorized together based on the songs’ vibes - but it is pretty loose.

I know literally no one but me will ever get the core vibes for any given oc just from a couple of song bc I’m the only one who has the whole context for each character lol but lemme try and give you an idea by explaining a few playlists and songs and inevitably tell you more about my ocs than they’d share :3

Putting it under a cut but I’m gonna talk about Keith, Cass, Roger, NEMESIS and KILLJOYE’s playlists.

[KEITH’S PLAYLIST]

Keith’s playlist mainly consists of electronic and synth tunes with no/little vocals, so I feel like they’re the hardest to get a distinct read on for anyone but me - THAT SAID even I have trouble understanding their vibes. This makes a lot of sense considering Keith is my attempt at putting a face on my own unintelligible stuffed down emotions lol Like c’mon Keith you’re supposed to help me understand, not clam up and put a lock on the door I tried to open :/ we’ll get there eventually tho lmao

ANYWAY

the first 3 songs says basically what I’ve already shared about them here, the tunes and their titles go hand in hand.

The first one is, as you can see, called the same as their name. It is a coincidence, I did not name them Keith bc of this song lol but the vibes..... for me, it’s about Keith and Kqo’twec’s relationship with each other - and just the swirling emotions from being bonded and how that progresses throughout their journey. The sound is pretty consistent and steady starting out, but then increases in intensity, somewhat overwhelming - and then it calms down again and feels like the swirling emotions have settled and more digestible and Keith and Kqo’twec are better in sync with each other.

The next two are basically just summing up the fact Kqo’twec chose to bond with Keith, saving them from bleeding to death by themself in a ditch lol

Resurrection does have some vocals, saying “wavering emotions | surpressed desires | live” which. Yeah.

I’m not gonna attempt to explain every top 3 songs in detail or else this will get REALLY long. But also it’s really hard to explain tunes that have no lyrics you can dissect. Those are just vibes u gotta feel in ur ears and judge for yourself.

[CASS’ PLAYLIST]

Anyway, first song. That’s just about Getting Some.

This does not clear anything up, most of the songs on her playlist is about sex LMAO

Cass is a tall, beefy, hot and sexy lesbian who gets laid consistently so like. Yeah. She just loves herself a lot and also she loves women so might as well combine that :p

The second song tho. Oof. 180 turn on the vibes.

That is from the perspective of her Dragon Parasite. I can’t be too specific, but she got a modified Dragon Parasite, which essentially means the Parasite has been put in an artificial coma and Cass gets its attributes without having to deal with it bonding with it yeah?

And modified major parasites aren’t legal or available to the public because they’re way more likely to be resistant to modification and generally are pretty dangerous to the host because of the risk of an Unstable Bond occuring, but Cass wasn’t told about the actual high risks it might pose to get a modified major parasite (not to mention it being a Dragon Parasite those bitches are already complicated compared to other major parasites) + she didn’t really care because she was so self-absorbed to change her appearance she gambled on this parasite to be The Answer To Her Problems, yeah?

And the nature of a bond between a host and parasite essentially comes down to mutual respect, and understanding of each other to be able to cooperate and maintain a good bond especially with a major parasite that is your life buddy so you need to communicate and compromise so you both thrive, yeah?? You will need to get real intimate and personal with a major parasite to bond. Parasites become a part of you so you will have to let them inside for them to understand you and vice versa?

Do you see the problem here??? Anyway, pressing F for Cass, she had this coming. Actions have consequences but at least she’s hot now so. Worth?

THIRD SONG. This is in the same vein as the first song but more about... secretive desires. There’s no love involved here.

[ROGER’S PLAYLIST]

CARROT BOY MY BELOVED!!!! 🥕💚

Absolute ray of sunshine, he’s just so fun and energetic and able to befriend almost anyone :] #good vibes

However none of my oc playlists are about how they come off to other people and present themselves, I want to see all the messy, knotted and tangled up wires underneath >:)

FIRST SONG.... This also doubles as how I imagine Roger’s voice sounds, so that’s dope This is just mostly about doubts - about himself, the future and those around him. iidk what else to say tbh I just feel like you’ll have to listen for yourself lol

The second song... basically just kind of the vibes for how he deals with things whether that being about the past or present.

Third song. I enjoy the like... eerie vibe the melody gives. Do you have any idea of how often Roger is holding onto his will to live by hairstrand? well I mean, probably not, I hardly touch this aspect of him on my blog, y’all mostly get the same amount of Roger as he presents to most people.

Roger is such a hot mess emotionally I literally don’t even know how to summarize it. But the next playlist might give some insight!

[NEMESIS’ PLAYLIST]

If you aren’t aware, NEMESIS is Roger from 3+ years from the present (Roger is 24) so Roger from his teens to early twenties.

Roger used they/them pronouns back then as NEMESIS and I’m gonna be switching between the pronouns depending on what I’m talking about lol

NEMESIS is the name Roger preferred, being his alias online for the music he made as well. NEMESIS’ playlist is both vibes for their feelings and the music they wanted to make. I say wanted to because they didn’t have the proper equipment to make more than melodies. But I mean, it’s the same thing, they wanted to vent out their feelings, but wasn’t able to - so it all just stayed on the inside.

So the 3 songs...

Well. I don’t really need to talk about them specifically, I can just say their whole playlist is just.

Angry.

So angry.

Frustrated. Aggressive.

Hopeless.

So fucking angry over things they couldn’t control and it just festered into deep self-hate because all of it just bottled up with no place to go.

Obviously, things did change a lot for the better into the present and we have Roger now :] You can bet that he is absolutely supressing all those feelings from the past tho. Never learned any other way to deal with it :( He just learned how to carry himself in a different way.

[KILLJOYE’S PLAYLIST]

KJ’s playlist is an absolute trainwreck of weird vibes. Just like them <3

FIRST SONG. This is from their early days when I first made them as a funny little slasher guy and I can’t get myself to remove it from the top. However, the vibes are still very relevant.

Obsessive and violent themes are prevalent through their playlist.

What goes on in their head is very fast paced, plagued with obsessive intrusive thoughts and compulsions. This is a big factor in their behavior, being loud and eccentric to both distract themself and anyone else from what’s going on. The last two should be obvious. KJ is a Freak. and they also wear Pink (like a freak)

Other vibes in their playlist are like about the weird shit they’re into. They’re a Certified Freak

YES THE BESTIES!!!

🥞 PANCAKE - what is their comfort breakfast?

For Roger that's fried eggs with lemon pepper, preferably on toast! It's something Cass introduced to him, being her go to food if she wants something made quickly. Roger finds it comforting because it's the food Cass made for him the handful of times they've argued and stepped on each other's toes - Roger barely eats if he's feeling bad and even if Cass is frustrated with him, she still makes a point to make Roger food. Even tho the origin of it is generally associated with negative feelings, Roger can see past that to see how much Cass cares about him and he appreciates that a lot :]

That said tho, any sort of cereal slaps and a real close 2nd place, Roger loves not having to put effort into eating

For Cass, it's oatmeal with various differenct ingredients, but the comforting part is sliced apples. It's something Cass remembers fondly that her mom used to make for her!

🍟 FRIES - do they order food often? or they prefer to cook their own food?

Cass is the designated cook in the apartment! She likes cooking :]

When she first moved in with Roger, it became very quickly apparent he orders food very often. There'd be dust on the damn stove because he didn't use it ever.

Cass didn't mind at first because she hardly ordered food, but she got tired of it relatively quickly and began making food for both of them. She never made a big thing out of it, she just started doing it and Roger would just thank her for the food.

She tried at some point to involve Roger to help like. cut veggies or something, just to make things quicker. He seemed reluctant at first but agreed - and then he was just standing in front of the cutting board until Cass noticed and asked what's wrong.

Roger genuinely didn't know a whole lot about preparing anything when it came to food, no one taught him growing up, and he felt very embarrassed about it so he just avoided it (which also didn't help him feel better)

Even when Roger lived with KILLJOYE, they also resorted to mostly ordering food or eating out, whatever they did make was mostly ready made. (cooking is also a challenge for KJ, not because they don't know how to do things but just bc the whole process of making the food takes forever for them and they don't have time for that)

Cass was really understanding (she wasn't really taught to cook either, but compared to Roger she's way more persistent about learning new stuff) and tried her best to help Roger with the whole making food thing, but it was a real long process because it was really hard for Roger to tackle it without getting so upset with himself :')

He does eventually manage to enjoy making food! He does still prefer Cass' cooking tho

I'd say imagine running straight into her, but she's very aware of her surroundings so that won't happen.

UNLESS

She has her tail out (she's able to decide whether or not she has a tail post-story as she gets tail rights at that point <3)

She's way less accustomed having a tail to account for, so she's bound to whack people with it accidentally or trip people or in her best attempts to avoid her tail getting in the way, she'll run straight into people if they're also not paying attention :p

I'd draw something to show but head hurty so I'll just show a drawing from last year so you can see her with a tail.

like.... that's just dense muscles. RIP to anyone who is unfortunate enough to get that whacked right in their stomach, that'll make ur soul leave ur body if it comes quick at ya

Also just I know we're all heehee 😳👉👈 running right into the hottest girl on campus, but also get a little fueled with terror y'know. You'd absolutely get crushed to dust if Cass fell on you with all her weight. Death by lesbian on top. Not to worry of course, all those muscles aren't just for show, she'll catch herself before committing manslaughter. But the risk is there, and I might be extremely biased, but that's entirely worth the risk <3

Let me just list out names first of who'd paint their nails and then I'll talk about some of them that are fun :3

KJ, Roger, Cass, Keith, Jaquoya, Jasmin, Rykiel, Rosell, Inal, Mark and Michael.

I will just talk about the first four because they're on my brain constantly all the time

KJ - initially I was gonna make that they actually go frequently to get manicures to have Claws and the pink and yellow painted nails BUT

I've decided that the claws and pink, yellow colors are attributes from their parasite worm Jamie. KJ is SO obsessed and love the look and base their whole wardrobe to match their nails and eye color. Their parasite is like.... a type that can kind of manifest minor attributes based on what the host likes, so most of the time it works out very positively.

Maintaing the sharp nails tho? They'd go get someone to trim them and while they're at it make them look Glossy because when they try to do it themself, they often end up trimming them down really short because their brain Said So and then they turn into a sad wet pathetic beast because they can't go clickity clackity and poke their skin for the Sensation to stim - which gets them agitated and they scratch their skin pretty badly :(

You'd think the sharp nails would enable the scratching but they do the opposite because heehee clickity clackity I'm cured of my mental illness I'm so normal. They also don't bite their nails because of this. Clickity clackity for the fucking win

the only time they trim their own nails is if it's like... just their two middle fingers. For reasons :p

ROGER - Roger paints his nails sometimes! KJ influenced him when he moved in with them because Roger had a real bad habit biting his nails and KJ introduced him to the concept of painting his nails to prevent him from doing it.

And it worked! Roger hasn't completely kicked the habit, he still does it when he's agitated but he tries to paint his nails when he's feeling like that. His nails are also doing way better compared to before :] He just does it himself he finds it fun. He just goes with black most of the time but might use colors that match his hair, clothes or eyes

CASS - So Cass doesn't like. paint her nails really, but at some point she does humor Roger and lets him paint her nails - and claws occasionally.

Cass keeps her nails short and makes sure her claws aren't like Ultra Sharp but still have some grip and can totally still break skin if she puts force into it. This is mainly with hooking up with ladies in mind ;p

at some point she also invests in Claw Caps which are colorful and will at most make marks in skin but won't break it. Roger also likes to paint on them, he paints carrots on them :3

KEITH - Keith is very basic. They paint their nails black at times. Might do something colorful if it's like for a party or something to goof around. They just do it themself, not much for manicures.

They keep their nails short but they don't actively think about it, so if their nails get a bit longer and they get agitated, they'll begin picking at the grown out part to rip it off. most of time this has no consequences other than having to properly cut them later so they're even - but occasionally it will rip into the flesh part and that's just Agony. <- haha that's me usually R.I.P.

KJ is gripping me tho and showing me the delight of long nails and going clickity clackity so no ripping nails for me 💖

and also like.. cutting my nails to be pointy? it really helps smother the ripping urge bc there's not really a flat part on the side i can dig into like there is when the nail is more rectangular in shape. I hope that makes sense lol
