Since it's that time of year for ghouls, I have to get in these Casper drawings in each day! This one is a little miscellaneous since I got two drawings of a sad Casper, but the ones with his uncles are real sweet.

I’d like to imagine that they became friends eventually, Casper’s got a way of wearing people down.

I totally forgot that I completed the Casper Reboot pilot script a few months ago. I still need to adjust some of the formatting but other than that it’s pretty much done, so here’s the link for those interested!

PREMISE: Essentially a reimagining of Casper (1995) but expanded into an animated series that explores and builds upon some of the lore from the movie, while taking inspiration from various incarnations of the character and franchise, Casper the Friendly Ghost.

I’ve got a condensed version of the script that I’m planning on turning into a pilot/animatic with the help of a friend but we’ve got another project to focus on first, so for now plz enjoy the full script that I spent the past 6 months on <3

Had a dream that was a semi-modern (like still the 90s) Casper au where the Ghostly Trio were kicked out of Whipstaff as little kids and where shuffled around to relatives in different parts of the country. I think their parents got sick of them/"Did it for their own good" and kept their youngest (Casper's Dad) in Maine.

Flash forward over 30 years and the bros are forced to return to Maine upon the deaths of their parents - and the sudden disappearance of their youngest brother + abandonment of his small child.

Now you got three jerks who've havent been home in decades, forced to lie and cheat to survive, barely a social skill between them; suddenly having the responsibilities of a mansion and a toddler that they've never met.

Destinct details I remember from the au dream:

1. Stretch spent most of his formative years in New York hanging out with new money types. Spending that Gatsby money.

Stinkie worked on a farm in the Southwest for a long time. Learned Spanish as a second language there.

Fatso was an actor, and was encouraged by one of the relatives who took them in.

I think(?) Dr Harvey and Kat were alive - or were undead/monsters pretending to be human. Stretch lets them move in cus the Trio are forced to rent out rooms in Whipstaff to cover the expenses. Cue a mostly-free in-house therapist.

Casper was best boy, as per normal.

A Grim Reaper showed up to collect Casper at one point but "Let him stay". 0_0

Anyway now its another AU starting to consume me

I ask AI for Casper plot ideas for fanfics and this is what I got

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is told from the perspective of the ghostly trio, and they have to come to terms with their own deaths and the fact that they are stuck haunting the house, and their relationship with Casper.

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story takes place in the present day, and the ghostly trio are portrayed as mischievous teenagers, who are trying to scare the new inhabitants of the house, but Casper wants to make friends with them and help them move on.

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in a haunted hotel, and the ghostly trio are the hotel's resident ghosts, and Casper is a new ghost, who is trying to learn how to scare people, but ends up befriending the living characters instead.

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in a haunted amusement park, and the ghostly trio are the park's ghostly mascots, and Casper is a new ghost, who is trying to find his place among them and learn the ways of the ghost world.

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in a haunted high school, and the ghostly trio are the school's ghostly bullies, and Casper is a new ghost, who is trying to fit in and navigate the social hierarchy of the ghost world.

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in a haunted office building, and the ghostly trio are the office's ghostly pranksters, and Casper is a new ghost, who is trying to find a way to move on and leave the office behind

• A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is told from the perspective of Kat, and she discovers that Casper is not a scary ghost, but a friendly one and they develop a special bond as she helps him to find a way to move on from the afterlife. • A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is a romantic comedy and Kat and Casper must navigate the challenges of being in a ghost-human relationship and find a way to be together. • A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story takes place in high school and Kat and Casper are classmates and they fall in love, and must find a way to overcome the challenges that come with dating a ghost. • A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in a haunted house, and Kat and Casper must work together to find a way to get rid of the other ghostly inhabitants and make the house a peaceful place. • A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is a mystery, and Kat and Casper team up to find out the truth behind Casper's death and the reason why he is stuck as a ghost. • A retelling of Casper 1995 where the story is set in the afterlife, and Kat and Casper must navigate the different realms of the afterlife and find a way to be together in the end.

Even though Halloween may have already been over but eh, Nothing can stop Anybody from still drawing some Spooky-themed Media. Here are my personal interpretations of Casper and his Uncles (Stretch, Stinkie, and Fatso) in my own Artstyle while also giving each of them their own Clothing based on the 1920s era (I even gave Casper a Young Sailor Boy outfit in case if you're all curious).
