Just a few pictures from our first car camping trip last weekend to Hocking Hills! Day 1 we got to our dispersed campsite a little after dark and started a fire. We had a peaceful night with no service and nothing distracting us from nature! Day 2 was our big hiking day. We hiked roughly 7 miles of stairs hills and cliffs! Even though it was difficult we (me with my short legs) pushed through! This night we stayed at an established campsite. We had a fire and made some food. We were not expecting the temps to drop below 40 degrees so it was a little cold that night in the car. Day 3 we were packing up to leave. Our plans had changed after we realised we were both to tired to hike another 7 miles so at 8 am we decided to head home. Eventhough it was a short trip it was one of the best weekends I have had in a really long time! More adventured to come soon!!!! 🏕🌲 #camping #cliffs #carcamping #campsite #hockinghills #hockinghillsstatepark #geocaching #caves #stairs #disperesedcamping #trip #adventure #hikingtrails #hikingadventures #hiking #backpacking #outdoors #outdooradventures #nature #sunset #leaves #trees (at Hocking Hills State Park) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkFHWGdtBYv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

I like the basic nature of this car camping. I’d add a tarp and then put a cheap instant pop up tent under it and have a place to cook out of the rain. The Gazelle tents are convenient but I don’t like that the rain fly just covers the top. I also use an Exped Megamat instead of a cot. Finally I am planning to get a pull out kitchen and fridge system for fast deployment and pack up.

Finally Got Power Steering Rack Replaced #ravenblackheartllc
I went to the dealership yesterday and finally got my power steering rack assembly replaced. It took them less time than I had anticipated. They initially said it would take six hours then the service advisor said it would take 4 1/2 hours. They were done in 3 1/2 hours so I was very surprised. I woke up yesterday morning at 5:17 AM and laid there until a little after 6 AM then went and got…
