Ah I was right. Japanifornia strikes again. For those that don't know, in, well actually a lot of places it's "cool" to sprinkle song lyrics with random English words. Extremely common with japanese music so when i saw klavier that was my first thought because i refused to fall for the localization's american lies. So i was like whats up with the weird german is he actually german or is this another von karma situation (manfed and franziska arent german either). And yeah it is this klavier's one of those jrock dudes who puts random english in his songs because its cool. So just like he's not actually american, just putting on airs, he's not actually german in the localization. it's the usual localization shift of japan-america america-europe (usually germany), except with klavier it works even less well than usual. With edgeworth and the von karmas its about learning from another legal system, which, fair germany works fine for that. but with klavier its about pop culture and american culture doesn't really have an equivalent where its "cool" to drop words in another language. Like the closest is maybe random latam spanish??? But then that doesnt work as well for him studying law abroad. Anyways as usual capcom california was a mistake and in some alternate universe where we got a different eng localization, there's a klavier pretending to be mexican.

In light of his recent visa issues, Lenny "Crossover" Alexander has been replaced by Gonzalo "Pikoro" Buleje at the upcoming Capcom Cup.
In the meantime, as a backup, we worked with Pikoro to secure his US visa just in case. He was approved and therefore he will be taking the LATAM Regional Finals qualifying spot.

Invert and Cop replace Saintvicious, become FlyQuest's new head coaches
FlyQuest has brought in Gabriel "Invert" Zoltan-Johan and David "Cop" Roberson to replace Brandon "Saintvicious" DiMarco as their head coach, the organization announced on Sunday.
It's not the way I expected to enter the LCS, but I'm ready to do everything I can to carry over the culture and success I forged in academy to the big stage. We have proven winners, great strategic minds, & an amazing foundation from the past year. I'm ready to surprise everyone https://t.co/yAZgNTB2WK
— Gabriel Z-J/Invert (@Invert_LoL) December 9, 2018
The announcement follows a series of remarks that Saintvicious made on his stream several weeks ago regarding mental health issues The former coach claimed that those suffering from such issues tend to overstate their seriousness, and that a person suffering from an issue of this kind ought to "overcome it on their own." He later released an apology.

「Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite」のトーナメント「Battle for the Stones」が12月に開催へ
 2017年9月19日、「Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite」のpre-launch partyにて、同作の公式大会「Battle for the Stone」の開催が発表された。
Tumblr media
■7 Legendary Champions
EVO2011: Jay “Viscant” Snyder
EVO2012: Ryan “Fchamp” Ramirez
EVO2013: Job "Flocker" Figueroa
EVO2014: Justin Wong
EVO2015: Nick ”KaneBlueRiver” Gonzalez
EVO2016: Chris "ChrisG" Gonzalez
EVO2017: Ryan "RyanLV" Romero
■ 6 Infinity Stone Tournaments
Socal Regionals / Space Stone
EU Finals at Milan Games Week / Soul Stone
Canada Cup / Mind Stone
South East Asia Major / Time Stone
Latin America Finals / Reality Stone
Red Bull Proving Grounds / Power Stone
■3 Online Qualifier Tournaments
TBH: EU
TBH: LATAM
TBH: NA
R.I.P: ASIA
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
