It was a fantastic night and we managed to raise a lot of money for this much needed charity! I'm so very proud to be patron and to have the opportunity to raise awareness and help a local charity. Unfortunately cancer affects just about everybody in different ways, but thanks to charities like this we can make things a little easier. Yes, you did read the title correctly. If your a big fan of Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall‘s wardrobe, the lovely folks at Empire Preloved can help you own some of it.
Jade has teamed up with Empire Preloved in Self Shields and has personally donated her entire wardrobe.
All the money from the sale of her clothing will be raise funds for Cancer Connections, a local cancer charity of which Jade is a very active patron of.
Cancer Connections is a charity which helps people with cancer and their families in South Tyneside and beyond. Jade has been raising money for the charity since she was 14, she has been a patron for 5 years. Earlier this year the charity celebrated its 10th birthday.
Jade decided to raise funds for the charity which is close to her heart. The charity helped a family member of Jades, so she has seen first hand the great work they do.
She with the help of her lovely Mum Norma approached Kerrie Katopodis who owns Empire Preloved. The trio first met when Jade’s management approached the nightclub Club Del Mar, which Kerrie owns, about hosting Jade’s 21st birthday party.
Club Del Mar was turned in to a Disney movie for the evening. It was the start of a firm friendship between Jade, Kerrie, and Norma. So when Kerrie opened Empire Preloved in December 2016 it was a no-brainer for Jade and Norma to ask for her help.

With Norma’s help, Kerrie literally emptied Jade’s wardrobe at her mums. There were dresses, shoes, tops, jackets, beachwear. It was such an impressive amount that Kerrie and her team have spent hours cataloging it.
A select number of the items are shown below. Some are still for sale, listed at really affordable prices, others like some of Jade’s tour outfits have already been sold.

The wardrobe is regularly topped up by Jade when she is home in Self Shields.
Jade and Empire Preloved have raised an amazing £6100 so far.
The total is set to increase further as more items sell.
Empire Preloved have some other gorgeous items for sale which would look great over the Christmas period or for a special night out. They also stock some beautiful prom and evening dresses, at really reasonable prices. (From £50).
