"I'm sent different sorts of things, so being able to do something like Sometimes I Think About Dying... is wonderful. In the past two years I think I've made four or five films and they've all been very different. I'm very happy that I've been able to do different things with different people in different sort of worlds... When I met with Kathy and she asked me about doing another [Star Wars film], I was surprised. But I love the story they've come up with... I don't know all of it, but I feel very excited about it. If I didn't I would have honestly said, 'I'm good.' But I'm very excited to see the script."

I am not far into Dead Boy Detectives, but if they talk one more time about leaving Port Townsend on the ferry, I might ragequit. It's just VERY clear how this wasn't just filmed in BC, but quite possibly the makers never even visited Port Townsend or done a maps search to figure out how to get there.
Port Townsend has one (1) ferry, and the Kennewick only goes to Coupeville on Whidbey Island. You will not get to any major airport that way.
I know it doesn't sound as cool or whatever, but take the bus, kids.
So! I wasn't just being needlessly nitpicky! There was a change of Costume Designers on Bridgerton between seasons 2 and 3.
Sophie Canales, who was the head of the Costume department on season 2 of Bridgerton. John Glaser, who is the current lead costume designer was also part of season 1 Bridgerton team like Sophie Canales.
But he wasn't part of season 2 and I just -- I really like how the costumes for season 2 looked.
As this Reddit post noted:
I feel the reasons the costumes this season aren't connecting is because the designer and his team decided to deviate too far from what previous designers have done. In the netflix BTS of the costumes this season, he (lead designer) wanted more modern fabrics and materials but the show has already built a world where these materials don't exist in this fake world. The embriodery and beading done in S1 and S2 wasn't the most historically accurate but it blurred the line enough that it was believable. The plastic glitter sequins on Penelope final look in E4 truly grinds my gears. Especially since there's so many types of fabrics that could given that glitterly look and been more subtle that wouldn't have been so distracting.
This is how Sophie Canales went about her costume design philosophy for season 2:
Sophie Canale, the show's season-two costume designer, studied historically accurate 19th-century fashion while crafting her vision for the show. From there, she let her imagination run.
"The thing with 'Bridgerton' is that it isn't period correct and it's never trying to be," she told Art & Object in March, continuing, "You start with your historical knowledge and then, if you know the basics, you're allowed to kind of break the boundaries."
Also, Sophie Canale wanted to build from what was established in season 1:
For Season 2 of the smash-hit Netflix series, Sophie Canale was promoted to head costume designer of the series.
“I was really fortunate to be part of the design team on Season 1, as an assistant costume designer,” Canale told Variety. “I wanted to develop what Ellen had created and really look at the characters. We had this foundation from them, and I really wanted to push the individualism of each person and looking at how each of their stories were being told in Season 2.”

But also I think I just really love Sophie Canales' aesthetic, these are from Dope Girls, the new show she's working on:

I think I really like how she works in color, details and how many of the clothes are structured.
In conclusion, bring back Sophie Canales for Season 4 of Bridgerton!
