do you know where are the the best places or mosteffective to donate to help palestinians atm? like charities ect
In terms of direct aid it is better to give money directly to families in Ghazza than to a charity. Charities, governmental and nongovernmental organisations &c., are seldom able to use funds to distribute aid right now, as few trucks are getting through, and none to the north of Ghazza.
ETA on Charities in Ghazza:
Taawon Association (in partnership with the Bank of Palestine) are distributing hot meals in Ghazza.
The World Food Programme (WFP) is getting food parcels into Ghazza, though I can't find them sharing a more specific location anywhere. Donate here.
The Palestinian Children's Relief Fund (PCRF) is providing medicine, food, and water. Their website specifically mentions food relief in north, central, and south Ghazza, and water delivered to north and south Ghazza.
Direct aid to Ghazza:
Money given directly to families in Ghazza is used to help them cross the Rafah crossing into Egypt, and/or to purchase plane tickets and apply for visas so they have somewhere to go after arriving in Egypt.
Help Christians in Ghazza get visas to leave
Help Hala Abu Ramadan's family of six leave Ghazza (organized by Mohammed Samhouri, vouched for by @psychoticgerard)
Help Dr. Intimaa AbuHelou's family of 22 leave Ghazza (organized by professer Steve Tamari)
Help Shayma and her family of 16 leave Ghazza (organised by Fardowsa. You may remember a link to a paypal going around to help Shayma; however, paypal has frozen those funds)
Help Shaymaa's family of 13 leave Ghazza (organised by Shaymaa herself, who is in Canada)
Help Sanaa and her family of 5 leave Ghazza and establish themselves in Belgium (organised by Eyad M, vouched for by Motaz Azaiza)
Help sisters Duaa and Deena leave Ghazza and get medical treatment in Cairo (organised by Shereen Alhayek, @.littlestpersimmon's friend's acquaintance)
Help Ahmed (@90-ghost) and his family leave Ghazza via ko-fi, paypal, or gofundme (@unionfish is offering stickers and prints in exchange for donations)
Help a family of Ghazzan refugees in Egypt get medical care and relocate
Buy an e-sim for use in Ghazza
Interruption of arms sent to Israel:
Palestine Action targets arms manufacturers in the US and UK
Palestine Legal offers legal defense for those who get arrested &c. in the course of protest or sabotage on behalf of Palestine
If you have some barrier to donating or to buying e-sims yourself (someone looking through your transactions, no room on your phone for new apps, don't want to mess up the instructions, don't have time to keep up with what's being called for at the moment, literally whatever), I can buy e-sims and move funds on your behalf. My venmo is @gothhabiba; paypal paypal.me/Najia; squarecash $NajiaK; DM me for Zelle information. Feel free to leave a note about where you want it to go (specifically for e-sims; aid to people in Ghazza; &c.)
BDS (Boycott, Divest, Sanctions)
You asked specifically about donations, but if you haven't looked into the boycotts being called for by the Palestinian Campaign for Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) and the Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC), I urge you to do so.
BDS chapters in your locality may be calling for their own boycotts, so look into that as well. Think creatively about how to minimise purchase of boycotted goods (e.g., getting your union to refuse to shelve Israeli groceries).
Monday strikes
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has called for weekly strikes on Mondays. Talk to your union or coworkers about strikes or work stoppages on Mondays, if you can. At least avoid making any purchases (goods, recreation, entertainment, food, &c.) on Mondays.

These reasons could be anything like pursuing love, living in a place with a higher quality of life, getting a benefit of a unique education system, and getting an education without paying thousands of euros in tuition fees. It also could discover a new culture.

Eight Things To Prepare Before Moving To Germany
You must be thinking about how you can make this happen. In this article, we will talk about eight steps that explain how to move to Germany as a foreigner. You will get eight things to take care of before moving to Germany.
Find a Job or Get a German University Enrollment
The best way to prepare for your move to Germany is to find a job or enroll at a German university. It depends on your nationality; however, it is the most hassle-free way for you to move and stay legally in Germany.
Foreigners moving to Germany from other EU countries such as Canada, the US, New Zealand, Australia, Israel, Japan, or the Republic of Korea, may visit Germany as a tourist and start job hunting. Later they can apply for a work and residence permit from within Germany.
The expats who hold a different nationality except the ones listed above can apply for the job seeker visa. It allows you to stay six months in Germany to find a job.
The people who are graduates and skilled professionals from Non-EU countries may apply for the blue card visa in Germany. The blue card is a quick entrance to Germany and the EU and a work permit for up to four years.
Get Health Insurance
One primary requirement to get a German visa is to opt for health insurance the German government accepts. You can sign up for German health insurance if you already have a job.
Suppose you are planning to find a job after arriving in Germany or want to work as a freelancer. Then you can opt for expat health insurance for your visa. It works as temporary health insurance for the time being. You can look for employment and decide which health insurance is best for you. Moreover, you can refer to our article on insurance in Germany to get information about other additional insurances.
Apply For Visa On Time
The waiting time for the visa application range from one to four months. It depends on your home country and the type of visa you want to apply for. That’s why you should check for your visa requirements in advance. You should apply for a German visa three months before your planned departure date to get the passport and visa back on time.
Book Your Flight Tickets In Advance
Your flight ticket booking should depend on the city where you found a job or university. It also depends on where you plan to job hunt and ensure to fly to the nearest international airport. Every big city has its airport. The three largest ones are in Berlin, Munich, and Frankfurt.
You should note that most airlines allow you to travel with one checked bag weighing up to twenty-three kgs. You should book in advance if you are planning on taking an additional bag.
Find A Place To Live In Germany
You should find a place to stay before you arrive in Germany. If you have an apartment already, select one in Germany that will ease your life. It will allow you to register your home after your arrival. You can check many furnished apartment rental websites such as Homelike.
Get An Appointment To Register
Once you arrive in Germany, registering your accommodation is the most important thing. Most of the cities in Germany require you to do so within the first two weeks of your arrival.
In Germany, the registration process is known as Anmeldung. The process is that you present yourself to a government office and register your address. By following this process, you are letting them know there is a new resident in the city.
The address registration typically takes fifteen minutes. Once you complete the process, you will get a critical piece of paper. This important document will help you get German services such as opening a bank account and contacting an internet service for your apartment.
Look For Which Bank You Want To Use
Once you arrive in Germany, you should look for which bank you want to use. You can refer to our articles opening a bank account and bank account comparison to get the suitable choice for you. Your employer will ask for a German bank account to credit your salary. That’s why it is a crucial thing to do.
Opening a bank account depends on where you live in Germany. You can open a bank account from abroad by using mobile bank services. Suppose you want to use the services of a traditional private German bank such as Commerzbank. In that case, you can open a bank account once you are in Germany.
Moreover, you can choose the money transfer services before moving to Germany. It will help you wire transfers from your foreign bank account to Germany. You should avoid using a regular bank because their bank fees are very high. You can choose Wise, which is a fully digital and modern provider. It offers the real exchange rate without any increased charges.
Start Learning The Basic German Language
If you are still not good at speaking German, you can move, live and work in Germany. However, there are a lot of benefits to speaking and understanding the German language. There is no doubt that the German language is challenging. If you are new to this great and beautiful country, do not expect to speak German fluently during the first few months. Sometimes it takes years to be proficient.
It would help if you took the time to learn some essential German words and sayings before moving to Germany. Here in Germany, the natives do not mind speaking English. These days there are a lot of resources available to learn the basics of German. However, the best way is to actively use the language and get direct feedback from a professional teacher. Lingoda is one of the online language schools, and they have small classes and great flexibility.
Conclusion
We hope you are clear about what to do before moving to Germany. We assure you that you will happily follow these steps and make them happen. In the beginning, moving to Germany might be a long and complicated process. But if you have clear criteria for what to do before moving, then it will ease your life. Now we will proceed to the next part of moving to Germany. Here we will talk about the essential things you need to do once you are in Germany.

How to Apply for a Canada Permanent Residence Visa
If you’re a Canadian citizen, you already know the value of permanent residence in this country. But if you’re from another country, your journey to becoming a Canadian resident can be quite daunting. With so many forms and applications to sift through, it can be difficult to know where to begin.
But don’t worry! In this article, I’ll take you through the entire process of apply for a Canada PR visa. I’ll explain everything from eligibility criteria to required paperwork to application fees. This guide will help make your transition into life in Canada as smooth and stress-free as possible!
Determine Your Eligibility for a Canada PR Visa
An important part of your permanent residence visa application is to make sure you meet the criteria for approval. Generally, you must prove that you can become economically established in Canada. This means demonstrating that:
You have sufficient English or French language proficiency to live and work in Canada
You have relevant experience and education as determined by Canadian standards
You pass a medical exam, background check, and security clearance
You possess an employment offer from a Canadian company or be self-employed in Canada
All applicants must go through the same processes, regardless of country of origin. It is important to make sure that all the required documents are submitted with your application so that it can be processed in a timely manner. Applicants may be asked for additional documentation as part of their application process.
Choose a Canada Immigration Program
Once you decide that you want to make Canada your permanent home, the first step is to choose the right immigration program. Canada has a number of immigration programs that offer different pathways to permanent residence. You need to research each one and find the one that best fits your goals and qualifications.
Here are some of the most popular programs:
Express Entry: The Express Entry system allows skilled workers from around the world to immigrate to Canada with their families in as little as six months. This system is points-based and applicants are selected based on their skills, education, work experience, language proficiency and other factors.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs): Each Canadian province and territory has its own PNP program. These allow provinces and territories to select skilled workers for immigration based on their own criteria.
Family Sponsorship: Canadian citizens or permanent residents can sponsor family members who would like to live in Canada permanently.
Take some time to research each program and determine which one is right for you. Once you have chosen a program and assessed your eligibility, you can start the application process!
Gather the Required Documents to Apply for PR Visa
You'll need to have all the documents ready in order to proceed with your application for a Canada permanent residence visa. To make sure you have everything ready, here's a checklist of the documents you'll need:
Proof of Funds
Proof of funds could come in the form of a bank statement or investment portfolio that shows enough money to support yourself and family while living in Canada. Generally, you should have enough money to cover living expenses and your family’s travel costs for 6 months after arriving in Canada.
Language Ability
You need to prove language ability — either English or French — by providing an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) test report or CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) test report, issued within two years of your application.
Education Credential Assessment
The Education Credential Assessment (ECA) is necessary if you’re applying under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or Canadian Experience Class programs. The assessment compares your foreign educational credentials to those earned in Canada and must be issued by one of three organizations approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Police Certificate
If you’re 18 years old or over, you need a police certificate from any country where you’ve lived for more than six months since turning 18 years old. You may also be asked to provide police certificates from other countries where you've lived since turning 18 years old even if it was for less than six months. These certificates show that you don't have a criminal record and must be up-to-date — issued within six months before submitting an application — and if not available, IRCC may accept older certificates as long as
Submit Your Application for Canada PR Visa
Getting ready to apply for your Canada PR Visa? You're in the right place! Applying for a Canada Permanent Residence Visa can seem like a daunting process, but it doesn't have to be.
Here's what you'll need to do to submit your application:
Complete the application form. This will include all of your personal information, as well as information about your family members and any other dependents who will be traveling with you.
Collect all required documents. This includes proof of identity and other documents verifying the information on your application form, such as proof of employment, education, and any other supporting papers that may be requested by the Canadian government (such as a police clearance certificate).
Send in your application package along with all supporting documents and the applicable fees. Fees can vary depending on the type of application you’re submitting and how many family members are traveling with you, so make sure you have enough funds ready to cover the cost of apply for a Canada PR visa.
Wait for an answer from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). You should receive an answer within six months after submitting your application - though sometimes it may take longer if CIC needs additional information or if there is any other issue that needs to be resolved before they can grant you permanent residence status in Canada.
Following these steps will ensure that you get approved for a Canada PR visa in less time!
Prepare for the Medical Examination
The next step of applying for a Canada Permanent Residence Visa is to get ready for the medical examination. This is an important part of the application process and must be taken seriously.
Attend an Interview and Get the PR Visa Decision
The next step in the Canadian PR Visa application process is to attend an interview with a Canadian visa officer. At the interview, you'll need to provide evidence that you are eligible for a permanent residence visa and answer any questions the visa officer may have about your application.
At the end of the interview, the visa officer will make a decision on your PR Visa application. Your decision could be one of three outcomes:
Approved – if approved, you will get a letter in the mail that outlines when and how you should arrive in Canada as a Permanent Resident.
Refused – if refused, you will receive a letter in the mail that outlines why your application was denied and what steps you can take if you wish to appeal your decision.
Put on hold – if put on hold, it means that the visa officer needs more time to review your application before they make their final decision. In this case, they may request additional documents or further clarification before making their final decision.
No matter what outcome is reached at the end of your interview, it's important to remember that applying for a Canada Permanent Residence Visa can be a long process but with proper preparation and understanding of requirements it can be done successfully!
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Canadian permanent residence visa application process is complex, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. With the right guidance and resources, you can maximize your chances of success and make your Canadian visa journey easier.
By taking the time to research, consult experts, and prepare all the necessary documents, you can put yourself in the best position to obtain your Canadian PR visa. Though the process may be lengthy, the outcome could be life-changing and worth the effort.

Antigua And Barbuda Citizenship by Investment: A Detailed Guide

The islands of Antigua and Barbuda are located in the Caribbean Sea. They are known for their white sand beaches, clear blue waters, and luxury resorts. The climate is tropical, with temperatures averaging around 27 degrees Celsius (81 degrees Fahrenheit).
There are two main ways to obtain citizenship in Antigua and Barbuda: through investment or by descent. Investment citizenship requires a minimum investment of US$400,000 into either the National Development Fund or real estate. Applicants must also pass a due diligence check and have a clean criminal record.

When Should I Move to Canada after My Permanent Residency is approved?
If you have received your permanent residence in Canada, you will eventually move there in a couple of months. Many confirmed PR visa holders from express entry rounds of invitations delay moving to Canada as they have to wind up their home country responsibilities. So, how soon should you move to Canada after getting your PR visa approved?
Moving to Canada
Once you have your Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR), you must land in Canada before it expires. If your family is accompanying you, you must land before or at the same time as them. All members included in the application must also complete the landing process before the expiry of COPR.
You can confirm your PR visa approval through IRCC’s online portal for individuals already in Canada.
How long is My COPR valid?
If your application for COPR is approved, you’ll receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR). Some applicants also receive a permanent resident visa if theyare from a country that requires a permit to enter Canada and start their new life there.
Your COPR is valid for one year from your application approval. Please note that you can request to extend your COPR, except under unusual circumstances. You must use your COPR to enter Canadabefore it expires.
Tumblr media
Applying for your PR card in Canada
It takes a lot of hard work and lengthy processes to get a higher CRS ranking and get your PR visa, so don’t miss the chance. Once you have arrived in Canada, it’s time to apply for your permanent residency card. As you need to prove to the visa officers that you have a PR to re-enter Canada, it’s best to apply for it as soon as you come to Canada. Make sure that IRCC does not mail PR cards for applicants outside Canada. Temporary residents may ask their immigration lawyer to pick the same for them.
Getting a PR card takes more than three months to process, so you must apply for a separate travel document if you need to travel back to your home country. The document is issued by a Canadian visa office abroad that can be an alternative to your PR card when coming back to Canada.
How long do you need to stay in Canada after becoming a permanent resident?
Once all the landing process is done and you have your Canadian permanent residency card, it’s critical to meet residency requirements to sustain your immigration status. It means that you must be physically present in Canada for at least 730 days within five years. If you come back to your home country after completing the landing process, you need to ensure that you must have spent 730 days to maintain your PR status.
Do you want to migrate to Canada? Do you wish to learn about express entry rounds of invitations? Call us for a free counselling and get the life-changing journey started.

Observerships in the USA
As an International Medical Graduate (IMG), navigating the path to residency or fellowship in the USA or Canada can feel daunting. Observership programmes offer a valuable opportunity to gain valuable insights into the US healthcare system and strengthen your application.
What is an Observership?
IMGs specifically design an observership as an informal learning experience. Unlike clerkships for final-year medical students, there’s no hands-on clinical involvement. You’ll shadow physicians, observe patient interactions and participate in educational activities. Observerships typically last one to two weeks, though some programmes may offer longer durations.
Who Can Apply?
These programmes are open to a wide range of IMGs, including:
Medical Students
Residents
Fellows
Consultants
How to Apply?
Individual hospitals manage their observership programmes. Each programme’s website will detail the specific application requirements. Generally, you’ll need to submit:
Personal Statement: This one-page document should highlight your accomplishments and career goals, not just a copy of your CV.
Updated CV: Ensure it’s free of typos and grammatical errors.
Letters of Recommendation: Two to three are typically required.
Passport Copy
Medical Degree Diploma
Internship Certificate
Specialisation Certificate (if applicable)
Vaccination Documentation (including COVID Vaccine)
Some programmes allow you to specify your preferred speciality during the application process.
Benefits of Observerships for IMGs
Observerships offer a multitude of benefits for IMGs seeking residency or fellowship positions:
Enhanced CV: Participating in a reputable hospital’s observership programme strengthens your CV and demonstrates your commitment to the US healthcare system. (Note: Some hospitals may have limitations on how you can use this experience in your application.)
US Connections: Building relationships with US physicians can significantly improve your application’s competitiveness.
Stepping Stone: Observerships can serve as a stepping stone to clinical fellowships and potentially alternative pathways to primary certification.
Letters of Recommendation: You might even be fortunate enough to receive a valuable letter of recommendation from a physician you shadow.
Visa Requirements
The most common visa type for observerships is the B1/B2 visa, which allows temporary visits for business or pleasure. However, it’s crucial to consult with a professional immigration specialist for personalised guidance.
Observership vs. Clerkship
It’s important to understand the key differences between observerships and clerkships:
Observership: Passive observation of clinical work, no patient interaction.
Clerkship: Hands-on clinical experience for final-year medical students.
During an observership, you cannot:
Have physical contact with patients
Provide clinical care
Perform procedures
Place orders
However, you can:
Observe patient rounds and discussions
Attend departmental grand rounds
Participate in journal club discussions
Network with US physicians to gain insights into the US healthcare system
Observership Fees
Most elite programmes charge fees for observerships, which can include an application fee and/or a program fee. If financial limitations are a concern, especially for IMGs from low-income countries, inquire about fee waivers. Some programmes may waive fees based on a strong justification.
Are Exams Required?
No exams, like USMLE or MCCQE1, are mandatory for observerships. However, if you plan to settle in the US or Canada, you’ll eventually need to complete the necessary exams and licensing requirements.
Conclusion
Observerships in USA offer a unique opportunity for IMGs to gain valuable experience in the US healthcare system, network with US physicians and strengthen their residency or fellowship applications. By carefully researching programmes, preparing a strong application and understanding the visa requirements, you can leverage observerships to take a significant step forward in your medical career path in the USA or Canada.

Article: The photo that made the plastics crisis personal by #BBC originally published in June 2023 https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20230531-the-photo-that-changed-the-worlds-response-to-the-plastics-crisis
ArticleSummary: "When photographer Chris Jordan first stepped onto Midway Atoll, a tiny stretch of land in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, in September 2009 to document "overwhelming" levels of ocean waste, little did he know that his striking image of a dead albatross chick would go viral and change the world's response to the plastics crisis."
By #www.smukher2.com #www.smukher2.eu #www.smukher2.co.uk #www.smukher2.org #www.smukher2.net #smukher2 to #Everyone: Also, after much contemplation, I've decided to pick #Australia and #NewZealand as the go-to places. Either I get there by getting a job now, which I absolutely prefer, or I wait for years to complete a project, then make fame or fortune from it to get a golden visa, permanent residency, and citizenship there. Yesterday, I rewatched a 4K New Zealand and 4K Australia drone video, and I don't know when I fell asleep and started dreaming. In what I now know was a dream because I woke up, I saw I was at a beautiful place that's not overpopulated by humans, got green trees, got blue ocean, got birds flying, no smoke of combustion like in India or smoke of forest fires like in the US, green signs on fuel outlets, and I saw some conservationists who were doing the capture and release of fish and birds to collect material for genome analysis without killing them. I asked them if they came across any birds or fish dead bodies that had man-made plastic and other materials filling and filling their guts, starving them to death, not to mention microplastic is harming humans too, to which they said they had completely eliminated such pollution from their environment both by public, private, and citizen science initiatives. Then I really saw the statistics: this country does not have a lot of people, even when you sum up the legal and illegal population, like India, China, the US, UK, and EU, to which the group said at the same time, we have enough. I smiled and said yes, I agree, and I am glad your people are enlightened to see it that way; it shows I have come to the right place. Then I excused myself and went to an open restaurant to have English Fish-n-Chips with German Coffee. Then I woke up and realized it was a dream. I am still stuck in India, while all the unskilled legal immigrants, and worse, the unskilled illegal immigrants, walk in or float in to the US, UK, and EU unrestrained and are welcomed with free food, free housing, and free healthcare. First,  I'm more qualified than them and will be paying my taxes. I don't want anything free. Still, I am the one stuck here in India, which makes no sense. That's when I grabbed Sir Edmund Hillary's #HighAdventure #Everest book, which has been my long-standing go-to book for getting my mojo back, and I am now applying for positions in Australia and New Zealand.
