@haro-whumps - their villains strike true fear into my heart and i absolutely adore the way they don’t shy away from the harsher, nastier sides of any of their characters (including the heroes), making whump that feels deeply complex and conflicting! i love their broken whumpees and sadistic whumpers and deeply human caretakers so much. galo and the group whumpee family are my first beloved whumpee ocs & ren lives rent free in my head as an all-time scary bastard! your ocs have such distinct personalities and struggles and you find such a way to make every single depiction of fear and anguish utterly unique, so every new whumpee feels fresh and exciting!

@much-ado-about-whumping - my goodness, what a fucking exquisite grasp of prose he has! i fell deeply in love with déomas from the moment i met the poor boy (as well your wonderful boy andreas) and every day am envious and admiring of bel’s skill at portraying complicated survivors! i love how you write aftermath as well, with the non-linear healing and gut-punch of lasting trauma making your whump work so unique to me! and god, if there is a mastery of non-con whump (and the realism and thrill and ache of all requisite traumas) you’ve truly grasped it with both utter sensitivity and delightful darkness (and also a profound rethinking of sexual trauma survivors for me in a very real way).

@ashintheairlikesnow - a titan of this community, i am overawed by the sprawling scope and detail of her worldbuilding. her writing has reminded me again and again how good stories can be when you let your characters influence the world! your depictions of trauma and institutional abuse have impacted me and my thinking quite a lot, no joke, and you have a scary-good ability to capture banal evil.

with 5-6 eps left of Gwitch cour 2, i’m thinking there’s going to be an announcement for a cour 3? there’s no way they can conclude the story in the remaining run time without the ending being rushed/ruined, and while i’ve heard rumors of a movie(?) i’m not sure if the scope of a movie can successfully finish the tale

in terms of big plot things, we’ve got the Earthian-Spacian armed conflict, the tensions between Space Assembly League + Benerit Group (+ Prospera and her faction), and Quiet Zero. Resolving the Earthian-Spacian conflict especially is going to need more than 5 episodes, and on the Quiet Zero front we just got Bel talking about it to the Feng and her partner, who don’t agree with their superiors’ machinations re: Ochs Earth (and Feng was shot/heavily implied to be killed over the QZ investigation). While the presidency of the Benerit Group can be comfortably resolved within an episode, the fallout of the decision is going to have an impact on Quiet Zero and the Earthian-Spacian issue.

On the character front, we’re gearing up for a Guel vs Shaddiq confrontation—which could be comfortably resolved in an ep or two, but how things change (if any) between Guel and Lauda in the course of this confrontation is unknown; after all, Lauda does not know Guel was the one who killed their father... yet. Lauda is built up to be a more important character compared to his role in cour 1, so like... they’re strongly hinting that his character arc is going somewhere. We also have El5n and Norea possibly being allies/reaching a mutural understanding due to their similar circumstances, but we don’t know how that will resolve just yet.

And, of course, Suletta still needs to confront Prospera (and Ariel??), and reunite with Miorine + reaffirm their relationship (which might be difficult given Mio’s trauma over recent events), hopefully via a SuleMio wedding.

Can 5 episodes and maybe a movie cover everything? I’m not sure, but I have my doubts. I’m personally hoping for at least another cour of the show, to let the story breathe a bit so that it could be told properly.

I had some fun and made an updated height chart using my sins/my sin redesigns. You can find the original here!

Just a little disclaimer that these are just HEADCANONS and these are also my version of the sins! This includes redesigns and my own original designs. Nothing about this is canon, this is just for fun. Now onto the fun stuff-! You can find flat color versions at the bottom.

I always hc'd that Ozzie was most likely the tallest of the sins. Even in my own little AU, he's still the tallest. To put a number on it, I went ahead and the absolutely reasonable height of 10ft. Something else noticeable with him is he looks different from canon. This is because I'm using a redesigned version (Not made in bad faith, I actually love canon Ozzie a lot). I'll eventually post a solo of his redesign and explain it better there.

As for Bee, even before I revamped my original design, she was always going to be the second tallest of my sins. She stands at a height of 9ft 2in. With the release of s1e8, I had decided to go for a revamp of my original design to fit my headcanons for Hell a little better as well as using the canon Bee as inspiration. I'll eventually post a solo of her revamped design as well with a better explanation. -> You can now find her solo reference here!

In my original height chart, I had planned on Bel being the fourth tallest but had changed my mind due to a Mammon reveal. And even now, he still sits at third tallest with a height of 8ft 10in. I already posted his revamped design earlier. He really didn't change too much.

Now for Mammon, who follows a pretty hefty height gap from his taller siblings, falls at 6ft 5in. The most noticeable thing is probably that he looks nothing like how most would depict the show's Mammon. The reason for this is because, for the most part, I sidelined my concepts for the canon Mammon and made my own. If you're interested in what I think he might look like in canon, that design is on the first height chart I made, which is linked at the top of the post. The only thing I kept was the four arms, cause I wanted more than just Bee to have multiple sets of arms. Otherwise, his current design here is based on older designs I had for him. I'll eventually post a solo for this design along with some better explanations.

Outside of me giving him an extra finger (cause I decided to jump ship on the three finger, one thumb style.) Leviathan didn't really change at all. He's still shorter than most of his siblings, standing at an even 6ft. If you're interested in more about my version of him, you can see more here (OG post), here ("Through the Riptide"), here ("Water Claims All"), and here ("A Sense of Pride").

Satan falls in the same boat of largely staying the same as my earlier concepts. The only real thing that "changed" about him are his outfits and personality. Design wise, he remains the second tallest sin at 5ft 7in. And lastly, of course, I kept Lucifer as the shortest. I find it pretty funny that he's barely half Ozzie's height, yet he's the King of Hell. I have Lucifer standing at a whopping 5ft 5in (Still taller than me, though). You can find his solo redesign post here.

Ah, Robibi, full of grace and poise and - nevermind...

There is A LOT of Robin content on this blog, no duh egg its like you centered it around him or something, so you can really go into any post that I have and find some little fact or interesting tidbit about him. He has a lot of things going on at all times and I always have some lil special things to share about him, especially with how much he's changed!

So Robin used to have a wildly different story, originally when I first spawned him about 5 years ago he was an Edwardian era serial killer who was murdered and spent almost a full century in Hell before making a contract with a demon to revive him so he could play the repentance game. Essentially Bel would keep a tally of good vs bad deeds that Robin would do, while fighting his urges to be a generally shitty person, if he reached a high enougn number he'd get a chance to go into purgatory and continue his death there. It was a very silly and humorous idea depsite all of the dark elements surrounding it, also Robin was a dick.

While revamping him for this blog, there was the idea to have his siblings be his mice, but that was later scrapped when I realized that its too "nice" of a timeline. Robin's story isn't about getting what he wants, its about accepting what he can't have and needing to move on from that pain and find love in other things. If his mice were his siblings it just wouldn't ring true to the message I want to convey.

Another funfact is that during one point of Robin's creation I dabbled with the idea of him having auburn hair in life, but that it had become so sunbleached that it turned into a blonde hue. Robin also originally had brown eyes instead of the big green gaze he has today! His outfit reflected these warm colors and had PURPLE accents!
