🌸 Five comfort characters, five tags🌸
Oh, this is oodles of fun! Thank you @anairbri for the tag <3
Okay so I went full autism and read "five tags" and thought, "Oh, I'm supposed to put a tag associated with each character. Okay!" But I think that's a fun little addition so I'm gonna do that. I also limited myself to one per fandom. Number 2 may shock you (it won't, but it surprised me that he was my choice out of wrestlefandom.)
Annabeth Chase. Tag: strength beauty power wisdom love. No one should be surprised, as she has been my tumblr URL for the better part of a decade.
Adam Page. Tag: anxious millennial dreamboat (Mox I'm sorry today it's an Adam day it'll come back to your turn soon)
Happy Quinn. Tag: no formal tag, but "what I'm saying is this girl is bi" may be the best tag I've had on a post related to her.
Bucky Barnes. Tag: the aggressive recovery of snuggles McMetalarm (I was in a Mood when I came up with this character tag okay let me live)
Edmund Pevensie. Tag: no formal tag, but oh boy is "the first emotionally damaged snarkhead I fell in love with" an apt description of this disaster human.
And there we have it! Sara Banannabethchase's top 5 comfort characters. I have written fanfiction for all of these characters, some far more than others, and considered naming my eventual kid after 3 of them, but I will not say which 3, just to keep some mystery on this disaster blog.

BUCKY BARNES GO
How I feel about this character - I literally want nothing more than for Bucky Barnes to be happy because HE DESERVES TO BE FUCKING HAPPY OKAY
All the people I ship romantically with this character - Steve and Natasha
My non-romantic OTP for this character - Also Steve. Sam. Natasha. Weirdly enough I think he and Wanda would be best friends?
My unpopular opinion about this character - I think he probably gets really into sex again after a year or so of his recovery and would be like, “Hey Steve what if we had sex right before one of our team meetings,” while Steve spits out his coffee all over Wanda and apologizes profusely while glaring at Bucky.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon. - I want him to come back and fall in love with Steve and have them be together and then maybe retired at age 40 in a nice house together where they tell their kids stories about the amazing Peggy Carter and Uncle Sam and Auntie Nat come over and play spy games altogether.

Bucky wrapped up in a comforter one afternoon looking like a worse for wear burrito with his head and messy hair poking out. It looks like he's been through hell, but Steve hadn't heard any yelling or anything and Steve's like, "Do you want -"
"No."
"Are you -"
"No."
And then Steve goes to say something else and Bucky holds one hand up in front of Steve's face like a "talk to the hand" and says, "No speaking. Darth Vader is Luke's father. This is why I have trust issues," steals Steve's coffee out of his hand, and retreats back into his bedroom.
