ALRIGHT! as someone who has finally beaten both sonic frontiers base game and the final horizon update on hard mode: if you are wondering, "do i want to try this on hard mode?" the answer is: no you dont.

#base game is easy on hard mode except for the final boss is a bullet hell #but the final horizon update? save yourself the agony. turn the difficulty down #or at least turn the difficulty down on the trials #trials 2 and 5 especially (if im remembering the numbers right)#sonic frontiers #sth #otherwise had fun!#i enjoyed the difficulty on majority of the update honestly but some of the parts have made me never want to touch it again. unfortunately #maybe someday i may play it again on an easier difficutly. but not anytime soon. dear fucking god.#i will stick to base game for replaying 👍 if/when i do that #sonic frontiers the final horizon
