perhaps my most insane collection of brvn thots yet
do we think lulu is from the moon. i think this for three reasons. one: when she told superbia she was going to ride him the moon was quite large and prominent in the shot. symbolism. two: when she got her fancy hairdo, she had two little buns that looked like moons. three: “lulu” could come from “luna” the same way it could come from the first syllable of smith’s name. why would she become spanish? don’t worry abt it. also if she’s from there then maybe the “final battle” which obari allegedly said would take place in an unexpected location will indeed be on the moon (pls dont ask for a source on this bc i don’t think i could find it again but it was one of the like. i keep thinking abt the like. pacing of the previous fight scenes being reused in ep9 in such a smart way…………like with smith/lulu v superbia - isami/bravern v cupiridas AND with smith/lulu v knuth - isami/bravern v pessimism/vanitas they kept doing the quick jumps between each of the two fights in a way that made it clear that isami and smith were in conversation even if they were doing completely different shit, and then bringing that completely to the forefront this ep while isami is asking smith why he died and at the same time smith is refusing to die bc of his promise with isami. BLEW MY FUCKIN MIND to see the pattern reused like that, i swear to GOD everyone talks about how fun and hype this show is but it’s so damn GOOD too 😭😭 and then after that the fuckin. symmetrical docking ass cut and then later the gattai which has been held off for SO long bc they are no longer separate conversations. this challenge seems like fun so i thought i'd participate yay :)
catching up and hopefully doing it daily afterwards ^^
Day 1: Happy April Fool’s! Have you ever pranked your TC; if so, how did they react?
nope and i don't think i ever would. i just don't have the guts to prank teachers (or even friends) haha
Day 2: What is the earliest thing you can remember about your TC?
oh god i love this memory pahahaha
i was new in class (i changed schools two weeks after the year started) and the very first lesson was J's religion lesson. i remember him talking about Jesus smoking weed and being high or something and at first I thought “where the hell did i land here” lmao😭
so my first impression of him was like "who tf is this guy and what did he smoke"
Day 3: Do you like your TC’s subject? Do you consider yourself to be good at it?
hmm with him as a teacher i do like it because, as i mentioned before, he teaches religion, but it feels more like philosophy. and i definitely prefer the latter haha
seeing as philosophy (and religion) are very subjective topics, i can't be objectively good at it. when comparing myself to my classmates i would say i'm more interested in philosophy, books by philosophers and all the ideas than them. that doesn't make me good at it tho, so unfortunately there's no answer for that sdlkghsldkg
Day 4: How do you feel about your age gap?
it's a pretty normal age gap for a student and a teacher to have i guess slkdghsldkgh (our age gap is approximately around 35 years)
Day 5: Have you ever said anything to your TC that showed you favoured them? Have they said anything like that to you?
in our conversation on teams, i mentioned that i really liked his lessons and his way of teaching. in his reply, he thanked me for it and said that's most important to him. :) i don't know the exact wording, but i can dig up the message and post it if anyone's interested
Day 6: Have you ever noticed any small habits that they have? If so, what comes to mind first?
J is ALWAYS so confused and really aloof. like, that man can't hold a thought for a second. if you ask him a question, be prepared for a ramble that goes on for half an hour without ever mentioning the topic of your question again. it's so funny honestly😭
Day 7: What gift would you really like to be able to give them, regardless of if it’s realistic or not?
okay. man. this is really fucking weird. please don't think i'm weird😭 also not exactly a gift, i'd want it back haha
buuut i've always thought how i so desperately want to give him my little notebooks i carry everywhere which are diaries, poetry collections, just my thoughts scrabbled out on paper. i want him to understand me and by reading these notebooks, he would.
as a real gift, i think a book annotated by me would be nice, i just want him to see my thoughts about books he's read too
Day 8: Does your TC ever talk about what it was like when they were still a student?
he did, once. he told us how he had no idea what he wanted to do after school and how he was actually a really bad student. i really felt him in that moment slkghsghslk
Day 9: Does your TC have a significant other? If so, what do you know about them and how do you feel about them?
yesss he has a wife and they've been married for a reaaaally long time i think. i saw her once with him at our school prom, they were sitting on the table next to us, and both of us were eating. at the time, i avoided him and tried to act like i didn't see him in hopes of him not noticing me lol. about his wife - if he talks about her, it's only ever positive so i can imagine she's really nice. :)
Day 10: What is the longest time you have gone without seeing them?
of course the usual summer break, but actually right now! he had a pretty bad skiing accident around the start of february, so i haven't seen him since then. if everything's good, i'll hopefully see him again on friday!
but it actually made me really sad that i didn't see J for so long because i promised myself i would try to talk to him before i never saw him again. i know he sometimes talks to students who stay behind after his lessons, sometimes for a really long time, and especially after the awkward end of our conversation on teams i really really want to have a long and thorough conversation with him just once.
i don't really have a lot of possibilities anymore, time is running out, so i'll have to be brave and find an opportunity and then actually talk to him haha. wish me luck, i'll surely make more posts about this lol

First impression: I’m pretty sure the first time I ever saw anything about Cunoesse it was when YouTube recommended me the clip of when you can shoot her 😭 I didn’t watch it bc I wanted to avoid spoilers but my first thought was like “Cunoesse? 🤨 as in Cuno?” So I googled her and saw she was a ten year old and was like ?!??.!.? WHY DOES SHE GET SHOT? Initially I thought maybe she had something to do with the murder and that shooting her must be some climactic moment bc it sounded so fucked up, only to find out that the scene is an optional one and just 100000% Harry being a pig 💀
Impression now: she is everything to me she is maybe my favorite character in the whole game like you don’t even understand!!! 😭 where did she come from? Why is she alone? Who did she kill? Why did she and Cuno split in the Cuno route? And where can she even go from there if Cuno leaves? She haunts me which I think is the point… she represents nearly everything that we would hope to change via revolution, the kind of person who we’re trying to build a place in this world for… she makes me cry if I think about her too long. Ough. The true girl child revolution of my heart
Favorite moment: her fight with Cuno over locust city broke my heart so bad because I’ve got little siblings too, ik she didn’t mean to hurt him, she’s just a ten year old kid who’s grouchy that Cuno has a hobby that she can’t join in/relate to, but she hits on all his sore spots by acting out over it and he hits hers back and then it ends w that total gutpunch of Cuno saying “Cuno can be whatever he wants. Cuno can even be a pig if he wants!” And Cunoesse saying “don’t be a pig, Cuno… you’d have to take me away…” LIKE!!!! GOD. FUCK. What a moment.
Idea for a story: I keep wanting to write something about C in Martinaise after Cuno leaves for Jamrock, trying to fill the space he left behind until she sort of starts blurring the lines between them and just pretending to be him bc she’d rather be anything but herself… 😔
Unpopular opinion: best character in the game. To me.
Favorite relationship: C and Cuno forever… 😭
Favorite headcanon: her real name is Kielo, which is the Finnish name for may bells/lily of the valley 😔

First impression: immediately loved her so much. I work at a bookstore myself so obviously I was drawn to her and Plaisance right off the bat and ended up spending all of day 1 on bringing Annette out of the cold and then exploring the doomed commercial area instead of investigating the murder LMAO
Impression now: I LOVE HER… she’s a good kid… she gave me a hat!!!!!! 😭 I love that even tho she’s very much trying to be a dutiful and well behaved daughter, you still see her act like a kid and get mischievous with Harry in a way that feels authentic. She’s just so fun and endearing
Favorite moment: all of her interactions are great but I was most taken aback by when she talks to you about Harry during his bender. It’s a sad moment but there’s something sort of touching about that combination of being blunt but also nonjudgmental bc she’s so young. She’s just genuinely glad to see you seem to be doing better ;_;
Idea for a story: I keep thinking it would be fun to write something about Martinaise as seen through Annette’s eyes. All the people who come through the bookstore… maybe focused on Billie in the aftermath of her husband’s death 😔 I also have thought about writing something with post-game Harry getting a job at the bookstore so that Annette doesn’t have to help out as much, tho that’s mostly just bc it would let me write about working at a bookstore lmao
Unpopular opinion: idk what opinions on Annette even do ppl have aside from “I love her” 😭
Favorite relationship: Annette calling Billie her Auntie makes me wonder about them a lot… I also wonder if Cuno ever comes to the bookstore since he seems to be a Man from Hjelmdall fan 🤔 I’d love to see her hanging out with him and C lmao. Oof, the story. Hm, well... writing is something I picked up again after 10 years and I didn't stick with it very long before! But this story came about when I was thinking about the Darksiders games and how different things would've been if more of humanity survived the apocalypse and managed to rebuild. Humanity might have also suffered some mutations allowing for supernatural abilities. 👀 I was going to keep it close to the source material, but it's really developed since and it's still in the beginning stages! Anyhow, I can't say too much on it publicly until I get the blog started. I'm not sure how familiar you are with the interactive fiction community, but it's being written in that format using either Twine or ChoiceScript; haven't decided yet lmao. It's my first large project and while overwhelming, it's exciting too! I won't be charging or taking money for it however since it's still kinda set in the Darksiders universe. I can't talk about the characters yet as much as I would like to! 😭
