“the devil escaped” you muttered.
“i know” he muttered back with you still in his arms, “there’s a hospital not too far from—“
“no, they’ll tell me to put ice and rest, i’ll just go home” you tried to put some weight on the twisted (maybe broken) ankle and almost fell again but aki’s hands tighten up around you.
“my place is closer, let’s go” he let go of you to turn around flexing his knees slightly for you to hop on his back.
your arms went around his neck and legs wrapped on his hips. aki gulped to the feeling of your breasts pressed on his back, he straightened himself and tried to adjust you by holding your thighs but his hands went a little bit too far squeezing your ass accidentally to which he immediately apologized.
“you didn’t have to offer me a piggyback ride if all you wanted was to grab my ass, hayakawa” you giggled and his ears got pink.

you and aki bickering/flirting was nothing but normal, whenever denji was around to witness it he always said something along the lines of “get a room”. now it’s different cause you have never been this close to each other before, aki kept talking about how inevitable it was for him to get this sticky when tokyo was under 100% humility that week, but this trivial conversation was only to distract him for having your arms around him and your legs brushing against his crotch. you of course was also affected by the proximity, he smelled fresh even after sweating all day, you teased him about his sweaty back but thanks to it you could feel the muscles under his shirt.
when you arrived to his building you tried to let go of him but he held your legs.
“what you doing?” he asked.
“i’m not climbing those stairs on your back, what if you fall back and crush me to death?” you placed your good foot on the floor.
“yeah cause i’m the one that fell down the stairs and broke my foot.”
“i was pushed by the devil you let escape.”

somehow he managed to open his door, kick his shoes off with you still on his lap and enter the quiet house.

“they’re with kishibe” he answered knowing what your question was going to be.
you got placed on the couch and quickly sat up to take a look at your ankle but aki was faster.
“it’s pretty swelled” he held your leg up by your calf, when he tried to roll your pants up he touched your ankle and your pulled your leg back hissing in pain, “you can’t put ice on top of your pants” he justified.
“these are skinny jeans, i can’t roll it up, especially now” you looked down at your ankle, the hem was already too tight around it.
“then you’re gonna have to take it off” he simply told you before turning around.
“is this your plan to see me naked?” you playfully narrowed your eyes at him.
“yeah this all just part of it” he replied sarcastically and picked the thick throw blanket from the couch to toss at you.
“ew i’m not covering myself with that, it’s hot as fuck already” you pushed the blanket off of you.
“you’re really fucking annoying you know that?” he huffed and disappeared into a room, coming back with a bed sheet that went straight to your face, it smelled like aki and you guessed it was his bedsheet.

aki stood there waiting for you to take them off completely before handing you the frozen food package he picked, he didn’t mean to stare but he ended up taking a peek at your red underwear while you struggled with the hem of the tight black jeans (which he obviously noted when you met in the morning), he cleared his suddenly dry throat removing his tie and opening a few buttons of his shirt.
“don’t you have a fan or something?” you asked when you managed to kick the pants off and used the sheets to cover your bottom.
“power broke it” he walked over to the glass door and opened, it wasn’t enough to cool you down but it was slightly better. aki took your legs and sat with them on top of his lap — since the couch was small — carefully putting the frozen package on top of it. “better?” he asked with one hand touching the skin above the swollen area.
“i’m gonna get all wet” you replied without thinking your choice of words throughout “i mean— from the heat and… the ice… melting and…” when you met aki’s eyes they were dark, he was breathing heavily and when he noticed a droplet going from your temple all the way down your cleavage he couldn’t help the groan that left his throat. why did you have to say things like that? and look at him like this? and have the softest fucking skin?
it happened fast, he placed your leg on his shoulder before he took an impulse to close the gap between you two and kiss you like he wanted to have done for a long time ago. aki’s lips were soft and he tasted like the cigarette he was smoking earlier, you were panting on each other’s lips in little to no time.
in a swift move aki ripped the sheet out of your body and you were quick to wrap your other leg around him, his crotch directly brushing against the damp spot of your underwear. he kissed your neck, the sweat being almost like an aphrodisiac to him.
“you are all wet” he breathed against your clothed core, using the words you said earlier.
“fuck you” you sighed when you felt his fingers exploring the shape of your pussy

TW: none! It’s fluff with a mild amount of angst bc it’s Aki and it can’t not be angsty by nature. This is in line with cannon tho, just before denji moves in with Aki obvs.

The pittering sound of rain brings you back to reality. Glancing over, you see it’s really picked up since you arrived at Aki’s apartment last night. If you listen and focus enough, you can hear the quiet breaths he takes as he sleeps. Slowly turning over to face Aki, you admire his features while he’s relaxed. It’s rare you’re awake before he is, so you savor this time, taking in every second of the delicate features that’ll soon be replaced with his tough exterior.
Gently, you reach over and move a stray piece of dark hair away from his cheek, tucking it behind his ear knowing it won’t stay put anyway. His forehead creases as he furrows his brows, not quite awake but somewhere between a dream and awareness. You wonder what he dreams about; something he’s never shared with you. Well, amongst many other things, you suppose dreams are not as important so you don’t give much more thought to it.
His eyelids flutter a few times and you can’t help but keep looking. It’s not like you haven’t caught him staring at you when you’ve woken up. He smiles softly, the sleepy smile that you love so much. You haven’t told him this yet, and you are unsure about how he will take it. Aki has lost so much already, you’re not sure if it’s fair to tell him how you feel for the fear he might lose you; even though he never could.
“Morning,” he wraps his arm around your waist, pulling you flush against him. His body radiates warmth, comforting you in seconds. You place a hand on his chest, your cold fingers instantly warming.
“Sleepyhead,” you kiss his nose and he grins again. “What were you dreaming about?”
He shrugs, removing his arm from your waist and rubbing his eyes. “Can’t remember,” he tells you, his voice still rough and deep from sleep.
He leans forward, kissing you softly. You breathe him in, the taste of last night's cigarette and mint gum still on his lips. You’ve asked him to quit so many times, but he never listens. He promises he’ll try but every time he stopped for a day, the next was just too much to handle without the sweet taste. He always sounded so sad when he made an excuse, you let him get away with it.
“I dreamt about a cat going to space. Much more interesting than whatever you’re withholding from me,” you tell him, turning to lie on your back and face the ceiling.
Aki sits up, tossing his legs off the side of the bed. His hair falls around his shoulders, and you notice the tufts that formed at the back of his head. You can’t help but giggle, sitting up and wrapping your arms around his bare waist.
“Don’t leave the warmth of the bed, I might freeze to death without you.” You feign concern and grip him tighter.
He laughs softly, barely audible. “Baby,” he coos, “I need to brush my teeth and smoke.”
His routine, something you’ll never be able to compete with even though you try. You flop back onto his bed, releasing him to his oh so important tasks. You’re aware Aki has feelings for you, or else he wouldn’t ask you to come over so often and usually just to sleep together without fooling around. It’s intimate but there’s been nothing spoken about what your relationship to one another is.
Perhaps it’s somewhere between lovers and friends.
Glancing up at the clock on his nightstand you see it’s barely after 8 a.m. You slept just a little over four hours in total, but somehow don’t feel unrested. You don’t work until noon, but you might as well head home, you decide. Aki has his routine and you’d rather not be here when he leaves for work and have the unsettling feeling that it might be the last time you see him. It’s better if you go first and think about coming home to him instead.
Dressing quietly and quickly you gather your things and toss them in with Aki’s laundry, knowing one of you will get to it and not mind separating it out later.
“Where are you going?” Aki peeks his head through the sliding glass door to his balcony.
“Home, I just wanted to do a few chores before going to work. I’m also out of clothes here.” You tell him, slipping your shoes on by the door.
He rushes towards you, cigerette still between his fingers. He never keeps them lit inside, you’re stunned to see he ran inside with it. “Aki, what are-”
“Just get all your stuff and come back here. Move in with me.” He says breathlessly, and you know it isn’t from the short run.
Maybe you’re not just someone somewhere between to him.

What do you think about nayuta? Any headcanons or opinions?
Oh I adore Nayuta so much and I want to see her so badly
I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE WE SEE HER SOON SHES ONE OF MY FAVORITE LITTLE GUYS
I like in general the fact Nayuta represents, currently, a few different things. Nature Vs. Nurture and How to break the cycle of Abuse (at least the latter is more of a personal interpretation)
When I first finished Part 1 I literally started bawling my eyes out when it ended on Denji and Nayuta cuddling aoaugghh
I definitely think Nayuta and Denji have a sibling dynamic to be going on! And I am excited for it.
I think I’ve mentioned how I think Meowy lives with Denji, Nayuta and their 10 thousand dogs but I actually think she’s gonna be living with Kishibe instead but I’m not too sure. That’s unrelated I just care about the position of Meowy in a dog eat dog world
Honestly I don’t have much HCs yet for Nayuta bc we haven’t really gotten to see her much yet! But I have a lot of questions
I’m mainly curious about how her development will progress, in relation to being the Control Devil’s reincarnation. Since Makima apparently, due to her status of control Devil, was never able to really make connections or have meaningful and equal relationships with others. And I wonder if that is also the inevitable for Nayuta? Or will Denji be able to influence her in a better way? Will she have similar powers to Makima? Will she even know how to use her powers or is it completely different now?
And what of the four horsemen? Is Nayuta technically apart of them bc she is Conquest Devil’s weird baby? Will Yoru or Fami recognize her? And what I hope might happen is that Fami tries to recruit all four horsemen and makes Nayuta a target for recruitment which brings Denji into a position where he must prevent that
SLIGHT EDIT: since Nayuta is the control devil’s weird baby reincarnation thing and Makima previously basically wanted to take COMPLETE CONTROL OVER EVERYTHIJT maybe the horsemen want to just kill Nayuta before it gets worse again or something. But I think the route will be ultimately an attempt in recruitment, as a means to put a measure to control the control Devil
In general the four horsemen and their dynamics interest me… and did they even know Makima previously or did they just disown her ass bc she was TOO much (especially since Makima basically wanted to erase the concepts the horsemen of the apoc actually stand for. So I’m just curious in general to have that expanded on)
I think Nayuta doesn’t really stirr much trouble or conflict in the Hayakawa 2.0 household really. Which might be jarring to Denji because he is used to the antics of power and is kinda in a similar position to Aki now with a completely different circumstance. I’m pretty sure Denji has tried to tease Nayuta to get a Power-like response to no avail and ultimately gave up trying to emulate that. I’m curious to see the two in action bc it’ll be interesting/cute regardless.
I know Nayuta will love all of those dogs to death and I am excited to learn the rest of the dogs’ names bc we have only gotten Cream Puff and Tiramisu and haven’t gotten the other five’s names and I really hope Nayuta just names one (bc Denji probably doesn’t know the rest of their names) something really really silly and unrelated to the dessert theme whatsoever

Like, I get it - memes are fun and you can't get too serious with a manga that recently had a chainsawman ride a shark through a tornado baby.
But, seriously, I'm getting dismayed that more people aren't directly calling out the ways that Denji is being manipulated and abused vs. the number of throw away comments that Denji be simping.
The closest person to Denji I've met in RL was a woman who had come from a poverty and violence ridden area of SE Asia who had married a wealthy British investment bank.
It was absolutely disgusting to watch this guy provide some form of the thins she craved: security, food, affection, respect, etc. but do it in a way that ultimately made her more dependent on him. When he inevitably left her, she was completely fucked.
What generated that original post was the proportion of shitposting to a deeper discussion of the manga.
I've had a couple of questions asking if I somehow miss the irony of most of the memes.
I really don't - I've laughed so hard I've chocked on my drink accidentally. I love (almost) all the memes and shit posts. In retrospect, ! should've phrased the original post better, but hey, drunken rant.
But, I hope everyone who roll's their eyes takes a look at the reaction and realises that this touches a nerve for a lot of people, whether through their own experiences or through that of someone close.
Denji is actively being sexually abused and groomed so. Yeah? Remember the chapter where makima starts getting close to him and ends up pushing his hand on her breast and insinuating she'll have sex with him if he defeats Gun.
Then remember Himeno propositioning denji for sex and then y'know. Actually admitting what she did was fucked up and unfair to him.
Because she's a fucked up person and has at least that much self reflection.
There's a lot of abuse, and how cycles of trauma become interlinked (as denji ends part 1 as a caretaker to someone who was once made into a monster). Makima has been contorted into a monster, but what she does to denji and others is still deep manipulation and abuse. It's particularly horrifying with denji because of how intimate so much of it is, and denjis realization in the end that she was never once looking at him.
It's something I like a lot about chainsaw man.
Bc ... It doesn't play down how denji is being sexually abused imo and I know a lot of stuff treats victims poorly, and seeing a teen boy struggling through that fixation and desire is really emotional. (Connect_bit_1457)

Did these for the OoS crew... it took a really long time for some reason BAHAHA....
Brainrot underneath the read more as usual. But the pics themselves speak volumes if you know the characters... the brainrot is just in case you don't know, how each character reminds me of each oc. But mainly so I can get the brain worms out of my head!!
EOCs: (Hana, Alope, Ignis, Enid, Tank)
Hana:
Korra, Elise Liedl, Alice (Pandora Hearts), Rita Mordio, Frieren, and Edward Elric
Most like: Elise, Korra, and Rita.
She's desperately trying to prove herself as a Zodiac (Korracore) and has massive dreams of grandeur she'd do anything to fulfill. (ELISE) She likes to think she'd sacrifice anyone and acts cold but really is afraid of connections for the same reason. As a result she's overly attached to the object of her research since she can't hurt it and it can't hurt her. (Rita)
Very reminiscent later on (like frieren) but acts headstrong and louder (like ed or Alice) when she feels passionate enough.
Alope:
Bolin, Rose (Tales of Zestiria), Denji, Mae (Fire emblem echoes), Kanami (Log Horizon), Luz (TOH)
Most like: DENJI
Alope doesn't have a last name or parents it seems. She's stuck in someone else's debt... (Denji) shes poor but it doesn't stop her from being silly and kind initially (Bolin) She does what she needs to do to get jobs done while people hesitate. Along with a strong sense of justice... poor common sense while in conversation tho. (Rose++ Also Alope is scared of ghosts just like her too. )
one thing comes to another and Alope goes from that loud kind girl to someone who's been traumatized and feeling at fault... Wrestling her self doubt and resentment but at the same time will still do anything to right her wrongs. (LUZ MY BABY)
Mae and Kanami are there for vibes. They radiate Alopenergy
Ignis:
Niren Fedrock, Kento Nanami, Vander, Optimus Prime, Hohenheim, Lukas (fire emblem echoes)
Most like: Hohenheim.
An ex knight who follows a strict code of chivalry... he's kind, takes the helm with things are chaotic and is a good leader (Optimus, Lukas). It could be seen as a sort of facade though. Considering he left his past behind and this is sort of his last attempt to relive/fix it but better and older. (Hohenheim)
He's aloof and calm at first which gives him a cold look. But is notoriously sensitive when you know him. (Hohenheim) cares deeply for his family and guild (Vander. Niren). But is especially estranged from them at times with the whole aloof... reliving his past thing.... (HOHENHEIM. Lukas a little)
Nanami is on there bc his principle that adults should do things and not children is something Ignis strongly believes too. It's why he's so concerned about the girls.
Enid:
Reki Kyan, Okappa (Plastic Nee-san), Kisara Nanjo, Enid (O.K.KO), Brunhilde (Record of Ragnarok), Chastel and Hisca Aiheap (Tales of Vesperia: First Strike).
Most like: Reki Kyan.
A Monk whose emotions fluctuate constantly. (Brunhilde) They try to be levelheaded initially but are si passionate about others it spills over in excitement or anger (Reki). Prone to comedy violence when pissed (Okappa). Watches over the guild like how the twins (Chastel and Hisca)... so like nagging sisters BAHAHAH.
A skilled fighter, but has a soft side. (Kisara) they are trying to tap into it, but neglecting their fighting skill, something that was a big part of their identity seems to have made them doubt themselves and envy the others. (Kisara. Reki.)
Enid O.K. KO is the literal inspiration for Enid's name and a littleeee bit of their voice too. I crushed on Enid O.K. KO pretty hard and love the name bc her.
Tank:
Shikamaru, Raven (Tales of Vesperia), Lavi (D-gray man), Maes Hughes, Jake the dog, Saber (Fire emblem echoes)
Most like: tbh. I thought initially that Tank's board was the craziest but all these characters are so much like him I can't pick.
A guy who seems laid back and lazy and complains about work. Does anything to "avoid" it. Who always puts on a huge show so people don't suspect a thing from him. In reality, Tank is very meticulous and picks up on things about his guild before the others do. And despite his complaints about work will always pull more than his weight when he has to. (Literally all of them)
Though he's shady, he stays beside Enid and treats them like a sibling. (Saber) Though at times his treatment of them is dubious and he gives them counter productive advice (Jake)... He sees Enid as an idealist and would do anything to protect her (Hughes). He tries to keep his distance from everyone else, but the longer he stays the harder her finds it as he nature picks up on all the little things about them they don't know. (Lavi) Seems to have some unspoken backstory that affected him and changes his motives. (Raven and Shikamaru)

Okay but consider an au where Pochita is still around and denji is normal. you and Aki take both of them in and Aki just doesn’t know how to feel abt Pochita bc he’s a devil but he’s also a cute and almost normal looking doggy. Like he wants to hate it but goddammit his lil "woofs" and big eyes makes his heart clench. You on the other hand already adopted both of them Pochita is your new baby/child and you carry him almost EVERYWHERE. you even get aki to have Pochita sleep between both you guys at one point (much to akis dismay but he can’t say no. He’s lucky you (and maybe Pochita) are cute
THIS AU WOULD MAKE ME SO HAPPY BECAUSE I MISS POCHITA SO MUCH HE WAS GONE TOO SOOOOOOONNNNN!!!!!
I feel like aki would take care of pochita reluctantly... but he ends up having a soft spot for him, even though he would never admit it.
it makes me wonder more stuff about pochita.... like we see him eating bread with denji, would he eat regular dog food? cat food??? lol. he doesn't seem picky, but for some reason I feel like pochita is the type of dog to always want something of what you're eating. he sits and stares at aki when he's prepping food in the kitchen until aki finally gives him a little piece

In regards grooming in MHA...I remember a comment in the BookTube where the person said how the words "gaslight, grooming and mansplaning" are being parrot careless. I agree. The fandom collectively agrees AFO groomed Shig but...
Gromming is a form of control someone through sex...so, that could open a dangerous door of AFO bad touching baby tenko, which we can all agree is too much. (I know some people write fics like that and not judge, write what you want)
So I think AFO didn't groom him...rather, I think we are dealing with persuasion and AFO took prey on Shig when he was a kid and highly traumatized. It wouldn't be hard to convice Shig of anything in that time.
But here my issue....AFO had 0 reasons to do this.
I know some will say "he did bc he hates Nana" which I have to reply. "Why? The woman is dead. Her family is dead...why take Tenko in? If he wants to torture AM he could have lead clues to where Tenko Shimura is and...then either kill Tenko or show AM how Shig has fallen"
As far I can tell, AFO had no reason for take him in at firsts seasons. Think this way, had Shig dead in the invasion....you honestly think AFO would care? Honestly think it would affect his master plan?
But even with persuasion...we have to take account how Shig never change. "Characgrt development! MVA!" I say no! He got hotter but didn't change at all.
Compare Denji from Chainsawman with Shig. Denji IS A REAL GROOMER VICTIM...he is allowed to question and to say no. Shig wanted destruction of all in chapter 1 and still goes with this idea(well, AFO snatches his body now but you get the gist) he didn't change.
Which is frustrating bc he had chances to do introspection - introspection is not an excuse to show sad backstory- and wonder what he wants. Hell, if he wants to be a big baddie...could do on his terms.
Which brings me on another topic.
Shig has no motivations or ideals. Look at DC Joker, yes I think he is overused to death and is not as that good as people think but...his motivations are usually to make Batman kills him or to show how one bad day can change a person forever.
Hate or love it. Those usually are his motivations in some stories.
Now ask yourself what Shig wants?

Exactly! We don't know. He wants destruction for some reason. Shig is claiming for genocide "Kill all heroes" in an area where a large number of people are heroes can be seen as genocide.
For no reason.
He wager a war for no reason. And he had no end goal. Like, say he murder every hero in Japan- orphan their kids and make more people miserable- then what?
More destruction? He wants to destroy the world literally?!
See how that is contrive. And is even dangerous how LoV is going along (and happily) with this.
Hori made his villains black and white but at the same time, made them too dumb- AFO is incredibly dumb. Yes he is power and evil but also dumb- and thought the best course to remedy this is...give the villains sad backstories.
Sad backstories don't null their crimes. Can explain but if the character is gleefully ready to cause a war and murder thousands....sad backstories became null.
Also....I have to bring this up...in this war, with all destruction Shig caused, can you be sure he didn't killed another family with a cute dog?
This thought never even cross his mind.

OMFG dad Aki waking up in the middle if the night to the baby crying, murmuring a low "I'll get her, stay in bed" with soft rub to your shoulder. The crying stops the moment he picks her up from her crib, little baby relaxing into her daddy's arms immediately.

Makima’s warrior cat name is Spiralskies, she’s deputy of Chainsawclan but also one one of those reincarnated dark forrest shits called. You guess it. A DEVIL
So Denji’s taken in as Aki’s (Sleetrain) apprentice along side with Powerpaw! And his name becomes. Idk. Sparkpaw? Sharppaw? Whatever.

Edit: forgot to mention Makima star’s goal was to kill Starclan and consume total control over every clan and use Denji to get to that bc Pochita.
He is given her and flees to the new clan. With his new name Spark. Spark something I don’t know his suffix
And that’s where part 2’s main character…. SOGGYFUR THATS RIGHT SOGGYFUR MAKES A RETURN BABY. I also think something with Crow would fit Asa like Crowfur or something basic but I also think people would call her Soggyfur so it’s interchangeable. She is an unotable warrior who was orphaned in her apprentice hood and was recently made a warrior. She hates her clan. And she is just some rando warrior who hates denji too but that’s later on
What happened was that due to one of her clanmates trying to enlist the help of a devil, she is killed. But NOT SIKE. THE WAR DEVIL POSSESSED HER and they merge kinda, whatever, and then WARTIME (Yoru the war devil) kills Asa’s former mentor and AAIIEEEEE GETS STRONG AIEEEE
Anyways Wartime functions like an annoying spirit, and since it’s a FUCKING WARRIOR CATS AU war is huge hit with these clans and Asa’s like…. Bro are you kidding me.
