controversial take but i'm glad forces was my first game because it only goes up from there buckos
#ooc#i really enjoyed forces bc i had nothing to compare it to !!!#and i enjoy boost gameplay done well#( hate the classic sonic levels though )#but it was nice to go to other sonic games like colors and mania and be like OOHHHHH so this is what a good sonic game looks like#i will say colors has great level design but the story is so BORING not engaging at all#i'm so glad generations is getting the remaster bc i haven't gotten to play it at all and so many people Love it#my favorite actual sonic game is frontiers#but my fave spin off is team sonic racing i have an embarrassing amount of hours put into that game
