Does Xi have a name for his erha (I think that’s how it’s spelt?), like how wwx has chengqing and lwz has Wangji in canon?

!!! it does!!! this is actually one of the few things i worked out (sure they’re going to be in the next chapter but shhhhh don’t worry about it)

Erhu Name: 妒忌盲 - Dujimang - to envy the blind (or ‘to envy the shortsighted’, to go along with the farsighted 智 zhi in his name)

妒忌 - dùjì - to be jealous of (sb's achievements etc) / to be envious / envy

盲 - máng, wàng - blind; unperceptive, shortsighted

(because knowing the future isn’t, ya know, great most of the time!)

Guqin name: 留恋 - liúliàn - reluctant to leave / to hate to have to go / to recall fondly - referring to his reluctance to leave gusu! It’s sappy as hell! I love it!
