Out of the whole crew I think Eliot and Parker's friendship- is the most interesting (and the cutest.)
There's a comradery that they have- that none of the others do. Many people have pointed out the scene where Eliot and Parker change in front of each other without blinking. Where Eliot throws an item of clothing at a camera to give them privacy. (The Cross My Heart Job)
Nobody actually really questions it. They just have assumptions. Which is totally fair. They set the scene that way. I think it's their way of saying neither of them are concerned about seeing each other bare. It's a weird metaphor and I don't really know how to explain it.
There's the part where Parker asks Eliot; "What did you do?" And he begs her; "Not to ask me that Parker, because if you do- I'm going to tell you, so please don't ask." And that is a scene that the whole Fandom holds so close to their hearts. (The Big Bang Job)
Every moment where Parker and Eliot defend Hardison from a high chance of a plague. Where she naps with a government official in their space. Where she takes the case and Eliot punches the bad guy. Even when an area is swarming with law officals- she still trusts him. (The Rundown Job.)
And the scenes where they fell into the hole. Parker wants to bring the dead guy with back to the base and Eliot (despite wanting to leave him,) helps her. But the ropes snaps and it becomes more about them getting out- then getting the dead guy out. (The Long Way Down Job)
Not to mention all those scenes were Parker is near Eliot in some case. Whether it's sitting on the arm chair. Or poking him to see if his injuries actually hurt. Or the times in Redemption- where he nudges Parker to convince Sophie to steal something. Or about robot bodies. The Santa hat. Even in a middle of a hurricane- their together and Parker is by his side. (The Hurricane Job)
Some seem them as romantic (this post isn't meant to start arguments.) However- I don't see it that way. They seem more like siblings too me. The way Eliot gets annoyed and huffs and puffs- but still is willing to make sure she gets out. The way Parker snaps back- is more sisterly. Sure for a while Eliot doesn't know how to handle her. He doesn't know how to accept the "crazy," but eventually- somewhere- he sees that she really isn't.
Parker isn't crazy. She just never had anybody to trust before. And not having some one you can turn to- makes people throw caution to the wind sometimes. But when she does starting trust Hardison and Eliot- she becomes a bit more careful. She's still care free. But careful at the same time.
Eliot learns to trust her instinct. And I think that's why- even if he says "No," to her- and she eventually says "Yes," he'll follow her without question.
I think it also helps that Parker doesn't see him as some mercenary. She sees him as someone who deserves Redemption.

Looking back, my straight ships of my formative years can be divided into two categories:
I just want a girl to look at me like that
I just want to protect and love a girl like that

finch i'm having thoughts again. i want ur thoughts on quinn finding out that parker is witchy. i saw ur hardison + quinn interaction HCs and then read u and miko's discussion abt hardison and they meshed. i want ur thoughts on witchy!parker and quinn, bc i think quinn would 100% find shiny things for parker and give them to her so she can add it to her altar
okay SO. some of this depends on if parker's like...strictly secular or if her craft is tied to a specific religious path, if she does divination, what kind of stuff she's into etc. BUT
i've said before i think quinn's superstitious [x] and he definitely has like...some unwitting folk magic shit going on. he knocks on wood compulsively. he spills salt and it's a whole production. he wears a lil safety pin on the inside of his suit jacket he is taking all of his precautions very diligently. he also believes in psychics (bc his babusia can read the future, no this is not magic it's just stuff that people do :3)
so theyre on a job, and quinn sees a lil sigil on some of parker's gear [x] and is like...what is that. and parker gets about halfway through explaining the concept before quinn's face lights up like. holy shit. u make good luck charms that's so neat. i have a cousin who can do that. ("they're not for luck exactly—" "a talisman...a lucky talisman no no no i get it")
he doesn't super understand the altar thing at first but he is vaguely fascinated by her whole situation and asks approximately 135 follow-up questions. does this make them late for the con? MAYBE but it's FINE because quinn's gonna get her some funky altar decorations now :3
the next three times he visits between jobs he hands her very cool knives like "athame? an athame? is it an athame?". is running an eternal self-imposed fetch quest to find her cool stuff for spellwork. sometimes it's a cool rock. sometimes its a cool rock which is also a very big diamond. sometimes it's a teeny tiny wooden kitty he definitely didn't get from a museum. he's terrible at gifts so it is a relief to have one (1) plan for parker gifts. when in doubt, altar decor

Hear me out. Leverage Crew, as pets. What would they be? I'm feeling Parker as either a bird or one of the quieter cats. I would believe you if you told me that Eliot was either a big dog or horse without question. I feel Sophie as the cat that follows you and makes sure you know that it's ignoring you.
Eliot is not just a big dog, he is a big scary guard dog that makes people who have never been to the house before uncomfortable by being big and intimidating. But, of course, once he warms up to you, he’s the sweetest thing. Sits at your feet while you watch telly and cuddles on the couch during scary movies. Precious.
Parker... hm. She’s hard for me because she’s got the spastic energy of a small dog, but the sneaky and mischievous nature of a cat... OH. She’s a ferret! Yes, that works well, I think. Escapes more easily than you’d think, ends up in ridiculous places, gets into everything, hyper af... yes. Plus their cute lil slinky bodies? Totally Parker.
Sophie is very definitely That Cat. The snootiest of snooty cats. She’s probably a Siamese. Having had many a Siamese cat in my time, they are the snootiest, even when they’re not conditioned that way.
I feel like Hardison is probably the bird of the crew, actually. A very sweet, but obnoxious, colorful bird. Something like a parrot for sure, not a little finch or anything like that. He’s the bird that picks up on a lot of phrases and words you’d probably rather he didn’t, and picks the absolute funniest worst times to say them. Also, have you seen that video of the woman with the bird that used Alexa to place Amazon orders? Totally Hardison.
Nate... see, I was doing a pretty good job at keeping them all different types of animals, buuuuut... okay, if Eliot is the Big Scary Dog, Nate is Your Dad’s Dog(tm). He’s, like. The old, droopy beagle or basset hound. You’d think the dog was born an old man. Spends his days just kinda flopped around, but when you get him excited, he’s excited. You can easily see him sitting at a middle-to-old man’s feet as he sits on the porch in a rocking chair.
