in the spirit of impending halloween, can you go off about overrated (or underrated) candies?
im gonna go out swinging and declare at the top of my lungs that i hate red candy AND blue candy and quite often green candy. strawberry flavored candy is on thin ice but usually not bad. and before you're like woah what the fuck. prepare to die on this hill with me fucker. im allergic to food dye, esp red n blue. not like, severely, but it gives me migraines, and combined with a billion other triggers, shit like birthday parties n valentines day were vomit bummers of a repeated nature when i was little.
so then like, at halloween, i'd have to give my little brother all my red n blue and often green candy, and being a little brother, he was piss poor at trading, and it was a whole thing.
SO WHAT"S GOOD ACTUALLY?
chocolate except for like, almond joys, mounds. im not a coconut guy. snickers are fine. caramel fucks, peanut butter is good if it isn't a bitch to get out of the wrapper, i like crispy bits, nougat rules. pretzel m&ms fuck. the best easy to get chocolate is the hershey symphony almond n toffee bits bars that are ginormous, but like, actually decent chocolate rocks the socks. i got a bar of tony's chocolonely the other day and it was like fucking, strawberry cheese cake flavored and usually im a milk chocolate, then white chocolate, then.......................................................maybe slightly dark chocolate person, but god i ate the entire thing in one go and i had no regrets except for that it was gone
peach anything! chewy orange candy, lemon candy, strawberry candy (if you are offended on red and blue flavored candy's behalf please come take it off my hands the next time i have a variety bag). skittles, starbursts, etc. also like, sour gummy worms/octopi, watermelons, sour patch kids. also also tootsie rolls, which kind of straddle the line between one and two taxonomoically
rock candy fucks, good texture. chocolate rocks are the same. lollipops but only like four flavors and i don't fuck with mystery. pop rocks (again like. three varieties) are cool. bubblegum is a probably.
grape is a hard maybe. as are smarties (chalky), nerds. nerds are like eating aquarium gravel so you have to be in the mood. i'll eat like three candy corns and that's plenty. mint chocolate heavily varies. peanut stuff, gotta be in the mood for it. mega sour candy is probably a no, as is like...gooey things. i don't do like, gushers etc. wrong texture.
no: cherry anything, blue raspberry anything. no mystery flavors, cause you never know when it's gonna kick your ass. no coconut (texture), dark dark chocolate (bitter), spicy (spicy), coffee anything (bitter). if you are upset about it give me your mailing address and you can have any of mine you like (joke)
also i never eat candy from like, the dollar store, tj maxx, craft stores etc, and if it has been in my cupboard too long bye bye. im also not gonna eat like, chocolate flavored wax product.

hmm New topic now, what would be a good one 1. What is each of the slugcat's favorite candies, and pastries. 2. What is each of the slugcat's favorite things to cook and Bake, as well as how they do so? 3. What is each of the slugcats favorite foods to eat? 4. Should I tone down the mega-asks, I HAVE MANY QUESTIONS still in the back, but I find it reasonable if you don't want to deal with all of them. 5. Does riv try to get the others into streaming, if so, what would each cat be like streaming?

Monk - Pudding
Survivor - Bubblegum
Hunter - Sour candy/balls
Gourmand - Everything tbh
Artificer - Red Velvet Cakes
Rivulet - Gushers
Spearmaster - Nectar/General Melted Sweets (brings the strongest flavor/sensation to their system which is a fun change of pace for their eating habit)
Saint - Toffee
Monk - They like making popcorn and watch it rise because they find it very entertaining.
Survivor - They like making sandwiches and sometimes be experimental with the choice of ingredients.
Hunter - They like to cook anything involving meat on any mode.
Gourmand - They like cooking/baking just about anything. They're very experimental about it (and good at it too).
Artificer - She likes to barbecue things.
Rivulet - They like making smoothies mixed from gfuel and copious amounts of energy drinks.
Spearmaster - They also like making smoothies but less chaotic.
Saint - They do be makin the salade.
Monk - Popcorn
Survivor - Sandwiches
Hunter - Pepper Steak
Gourmand - Anything. Very indecisive for an actual favorite.
Artificer - Red Velvet Cakes
Rivulet - "Rivulet's secret juice mix" (which is just a catastrophic rush of flavors and sugar mixed into a single glass ; airport juice)
Spearmaster - Although it annoys them that they have to wait for it to melt so it can pass through the proboscis, they like eating ice cream of any flavor.
Saint - Pistachios

I misread your question and thought it said "what are the others like when stream collabing with rivulet?" so here's answers to both the real and fake because the misread is almost finish and i dont wanna bother scrapping it ahhhhhh:
Monk - The least chaotic video gamer and the most chaotic video gamer? A concoction for chaos and tears.
Survivor - Usually joins in on whatever Riv finds fun atm and is overall chill with it.
Hunter - Actively partakes in chaos as well. Most of the time, hunter takes the wheel of things, and riv would follow up (like a pirate captain and its crew)
Gourmand - These two always have a grand time because they're very open to anything fun.
Artificer - Aggressive and competitive playing. Might ragequit mid-stream if its PVP involved.
Spearmaster - Allow chaos ensue between a player trying to play seriously and a player who fucks about.
Saint - Most of the time, ruins the stream and kills the vibe. Doesn't bother directly collaborating with them anymore unless someone else is there.
Monk - Actively replies to chat and allows them to join in the fun and vote for decisions.
Survivor - Chill, almost no commentary. If you donate something of any amount they get overly excited. 100$+ will make them stand up and have a moment of self reflection.
Hunter - A bit more active/competitive than survivor and the chat is more aggressive than usual (bullying but nobody actually gets bullied vibes). Sometimes arti and her kids take cameos, which spices things up a bit. (they don't bully the kids though because if they do they get insta banned)
Gourmand - Mostly anything to do with friends- whether its doing irl stuff like baking streams or jackbox sessions. Markiplier vibes tbh.
Artificer - A bit tense. Speedrun timer beside them. Sometimes her kids take cameos when they get a bit needy. If like- she's in the middle of a speedrun but hears one of them crying, she will immediately forfeit and get to her babies to calm them down. She wants dem world records but she ain't a shit mom yunno.
Spearmaster - Mostly speedpaints and music composing. Creative stuff while having a chat.
Saint - Fucking chaotic. You are unable to predict what they want to do next.

just keep these specific questions to yourself for now. This is already overwhelming me. xD (i am not used to the tumblr ask environment if this is what its like)
I am to think of answers on the spot and it kinda hurts my brain trying to think of them while making them coherent, but I understand your desires to fill these curiosities. I'm happy that you're asking me out of every other rw artist in tumblr.
I still don't know why you're asking these VERY specific questions though. Are you going to make fanart/fanfiction? That's the impression I'm given because I never bring up the topics your questions have through my art because theyre things i dont really think about or worry atm. (i dont have this information at the back of my head so readily you know)
I do have the decision to just not answer, but I can't help but feel like I need to for some reason (probably because they seemed suspiciously specific).
I hope i answered everything right and fine in the end tho.

Loba: perfume, usually floral but sometimes switches to something fruity
Seer: Old spice deodorant, specifically Royalty and Dynasty
Caustic: Sulfur…. smelly man
Mirage: Blu Atlas shampoo so aloe, jojoba oil, and maybe coconut
Revenant: pennies
Pathfinder: new car
Ash: something burnt
Valk: apples and honey but also like some sort of cleaning spray and oil sometimes
Maggie: blood and dirt
Fuse: pinecones and ash
Rampart: bubblegum or just sweet in general
Bangalore: dove men's deodorant, specifically lime + sage
Newcastle: viking revolution cedar and pine beard oil
Gibby: ocean and floral scents
Octane: 5 month old monster that's been marinating in his room
Crypto: burnt wood and rocks
Wattson: also burnt but more electric than Ash funnily enough
Horizon: vanilla and rose
Lifeline: rubber gloves
Wraith: blueberry... like over whelming blueberry
Vantage: River water and the sandy mud at the bed of most bodies of water
Catalyst: cold (nothing specific, just cold) and gushers
Ballistic: expensive /j. Hair gel and whiskey (surprisingly not tea!)

Beloved imagination, what I most like in you is your unsparing quality
Eyelids fluttering under the grips of REM sleep,
Synaptic radishes sizzle anxiously
Under my cerebral sludge
I till the fluid earth for fresh rhetoric poking up
From these purpled rows of prose
These respites from reality’s lockstep trudge
uneasily budge from where they’re buried
when given a gentle subconscious nudge,
they cry out for keystroke validation
I oblige when memory strikes,
turning over the soil of dreams
to commit subterranean treasures
to reams of paper,
8 X 11 testaments glitter in a net
of recall but sometimes they fall
light as smoke past the poke
and prod of the tendrils of my understanding,
trying to get back to the knot of loose ends
and false bends of the madness within
a bludgeoned dungeon holding inspiration prisoner
waterboarded by snakes and barrels and banana boats and
moats guarded by reptilian goats, the rote of the waking world
with shocking parameters, family matters,
the snarl of our personal predators,
despite all of this comes the steady drip
of seventy other non-sequiturs,
but I’m no quitter
by randomness I won’t be hindered
I’ll learn to pick the tumblers
of the mind’s keyless lock,
hopefully followed by the stock and the barrel
As soon as I find it subtly submerged in a bog fraught with fragments funneled from fretful Fridays wasted when I should have been working I wobble waist deep in the dregs of my regrets my store receipts rustle around me a hamster pawing through the hay and wood chips of his life only finding meaning when he gets splinters determined I sift and swim through the thick doldrums soup with the desire to make my muse swoon soon with stirring monsoon stanzas to blot out the moon seemingly backlit by my crushing gloom groomed into a deep green gusher I’m thrusting through these emerald fathoms clogged with memories running from Metrocard deadlines to dead pets I’m starting to take bets that I’m out of my depth
My fingers fumbling through
the oily film of my daily minutia
running several leagues
deep, gelatinous, and temperamental,
I feel myself touch a
clammy metallic surface
with straining purpose
my fingerprints the perfect
lockpick to the elusive latch
sinking in and opening with
a resounding, murky click
I pull myself inside nice and quick
for a glimpse of her
a bloated and lacerated cur
chained steadfast
to the mortar wall
I seem to have fallen
into a black cell,
a crumbling place fit
for vermin to dwell
not her,
bruises starting to swell
in angry blue welts
around her shackles
her sea-foam and chartreuse dress rumpled on the
sweating grey floor
I take a couple of soggy steps forward
hearing footsteps,
she starts to tremble,
I issue a comforting shhhh
as she shifts uneasily,
I feel my love for her rise and claw
my stomach a ball of static electricity
stumbling around down to my intestines
predestined sentences end their long prison penitence
and rise squirming from the floor’s pores
a series of squiggling discourse and squalling syntax
proud of the fact they are now real
the muse’s limbs are now lax
her skin the color of bubblegum wax
her struggle wanes under my touch,
her face wasn’t saying much,
a smooth pinkish blank,
running my fingers against her chin
her cuffs sizzled then shrank,
the surface of her face rippled then
sprang six smiles that quickly submerged
as fast as they came,
her battered raven hair
bursting into bright wine-colored flame
the lines running along the floor began
to whisper her name
which was a stanza long
the phrases newly decked in different texts
began to chant strong:
you are the song of a palm frond
In the breeze,
you are the brazen brawl
that lay in the scrawl and scratch
of paper to pen,
the gossamer godsend from
the beginning line to
the couplet at the end,
you are the omniscient twitter
the flaky visitor to
the lurid hip-twister
the pious sister…
A hiss cut through the moist room then,
The muse extended a hand and
the mouth newly formed in the muse’s palm
admonished the massing words
for revealing her secrets.
My hands sought hers amid the
slight murmurs of the coiled messages
now winding their way under her blushing ankles
shaking before my sodden sneakers
still lacking features she nods
making sudden eyes somewhere between silver
and gleaming orange glass
she smoothes my brow of any lingering
consternation,
she shapes lips and we kiss
and are complete,
now a strawberry constellation.
