Okay, so I've been on a fighting game kick recently and under the influence of a certain someone (*cough* check out @icy-spicy she's awesome *cough*) I've been looking into a lot of Mortal Kombat.

This right here is my childhood. Childhood videogame (even though I only played 1). Getting straight into this, I will only be using MK9, X, 11 and 1 since I've never seen Armageddon, Deadly Alliance etc and am quite frankly too lazy to go look. A battle erupts in Kotal's Koliseum until D'Vorah transports Baraka, Skarlet, Shao Kahn, Black, and Kano to her hive, recruiting them into Kronika's fold. Meanwhile, Kotal Kahn, the current emperor of Outworld, attempts to execute Shao Kahn loyalist Kollector, but is interrupted by a time storm that brings Shao Kahn, Skarlet, Baraka, and younger versions of Kano, Erron Black, Jade, Raiden, Kitana, Liu Kang, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Jax, Scorpion, Kabal, and Kung Lao from the past and erases Dark Raiden from existence. Kronika creates an alliance with revenants Liu Kang and Kitana, now rulers of the Netherrealm, immediately afterwards. The team succeeds in destroying the Netherrealm castle, though at the cost of Sonya's life. Two years later, a Special Forces strike team led by Sonya Blade, Cassie Cage, and Jacqui Briggs attack the Netherrealm, with Raiden providing a diversion to aid them. This latter act inspires Kronika, Shinnok's mother and the keeper of time, to rewrite history in order to undo Raiden's interference and erase him from existence. Plot įollowing Shinnok's defeat, Dark Raiden plans to protect Earthrealm by destroying all of its enemies and making an example of Shinnok decapitating him. However, unlike Injustice 2, in Mortal Kombat 11 the characters' appearance does not determine their abilities, allowing the players to create custom move lists independently of their character's appearance. Each character has an initial set of outfits, weapons and moves, which can be further customized by the player. Mortal Kombat 11 introduces a Custom Variation feature which offers a character customization system similar to the Gear system in NetherRealm Studios' previous DC Comics fighting game Injustice 2, improving over the Variation system featured in Mortal Kombat X. Another returning finisher is Mercy, last seen in Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, where the winning player can opt to revive their opponent, giving them a small amount of life.

Also new to the series is a Flawless Block mechanic, which allows for a comeback window after blocking an attack with precise timing. Krushing Blows are a special cinematic variation of a given special move, triggered when certain requirements are met, like most Brutalities in the previous game. Like X-ray moves, Fatal Blows deal a large amount of damage, but unlike them, they only become available when a player's health drops below 30%, and can only be performed once per match. Fatal Blows are special moves similar to the X-ray moves in Mortal Kombat X. Alongside the returning Fatalities, Brutalities, Stage Fatalities, Friendships and Quitalities, new gameplay features are introduced, such as Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows. Like the previous three games in the series, including MK Mobile, Mortal Kombat 11 is a 2.5D fighting game. Noob Saibot’s Fatal Blow "Together Again" An enhanced version of the game containing all downloadable content up to that point, titled Mortal Kombat 11: Ultimate, was released for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on November 17, 2020. This expansion includes an additional story mode, three new characters, new stages, and the return of stage fatalities and the friendship finishing move. Upon release, the console versions of Mortal Kombat 11 received generally favorable reviews, which praised the gameplay, story, graphics, and improved netcode, but it received criticism for the presence of microtransactions and over-reliance on grinding.Īn expansion for the game was released on May 26, 2020, entitled Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. The game was released on Stadia on November 19, 2019. Sure can do, Nonny-boo. I’m bleak about Kenshi as well and Ermac. T_T I bet Takeda would be very miffed about what happened to his beloved papa-san.

How I would change the rebooted Mortal Kombat timeline
The new timeline is good, but there have been some mistakes. So this is how I would change the new timeline if I could
Mortal Kombat 9
Make it clear that Taven beat Blaze, but Shao Kahn killed Taven. Have Kahn include it to his rant to Raiden. “Not even the sons of Argus and their quest could stop me”
Give Bi-Han personality as Sub-Zero. Show that he has complete distrust in Sektor and his father. Show that he had love for Kuai Liang. Show that Cyrax was Bi-Han’s only friend. Bi-Han who is feeling guilt from the Lin Kuei’s cowardly attack on the Shi-Ri Ryu, Bi-Han plans to leave the Lin Kuei feeling the organization has lost all sense of honor. To this he takes a contract from a mysterious party for the head of Shang Tsung. He joins the Mortal Kombat, using his cryomancer abilities intending to kill the sorcerer and run from the Lin Kuei.
Mileena is seen at the beginning of the game with Kitana and Jade. Kitana and Mileena were raised together as children. They believe each other to be sisters. Mileena’s costume would look like Kitana’s, just in purple because her over-sexualization was just unnecessary. When Kitana discovers the truth of her sister, she confronts Shao Kahn and when the truth about Kitana’s own parentage is presented, Kitana is captured, but it’s not just Jade who wants to save Kitana, it’s Mileena. They grew up as sisters and despite being created in Shang Tsung’s flesh pits, her loyalty is not with her father or Shang Tsung, it’s with Kitana. They missed a grand opportunity in this timeline. “let’s just make them enemies again with no emotional attachments” and when saving Kitana with the forces of light, Kitana returns the love for her sister. Family doesn’t end in blood, it’s a bond and love. Both Mileena and Kitana promised after Shao Kahn is defeated, they would rule Edenia and Outworld together and bring both realms peace. So Mileena being good until Sindel kills everyone is something that is needed. Mileena survives Sindel’s attack and is devastated and snaps and blames Raiden. So in the events of Mortal Kombat X, Mileena has no choice but to choose to hunt for Outworld’s throne, Kitana was her world and now she’s dead. Rain, Tanya, and Skarlet are loyal to Mileena. She wants to use Shinnok’s amulet to save Kitana, but Rain manipulates her to use it against Kotal Kahn
No Cyber Sub-Zero. Turning Kuai Liang into a Cyborg did nothing for him. Even his arcade ending was utterly pointless. SO what I’d change is along with Smoke, Sub-Zero would escape automation. He would unleash an ice storm that freezes all the robots holding him and as he is about to escape with Smoke, Sektor throws a blade at Smoke that gives Sub-Zero his iconic scar. Throughout the game he has his Mortal Kombat 3 outfit, an outcast from the Lin Kuei. We would see Sub-Zero fighting Sektor and finally his brother, Noob Saibot.
Mortal Kombat X
The Kombat Kids are handled better
We would be given the option as Kung Jin to free Kung Lao from his revenant state
Mileena’s forces kill D’Vorah and Kotal Kahn. Mileena would confront her now revenant sister and fail trying to save her
Frost does not stupidly attack Scorpion, instead Frost is sent with the Kombat kids. She is playable and has an arc. Does she betray her friends and Sub-Zero for power or does she fight for Earthrealm and Sub-Zero, we would see Frost choosing to fight for good and for her master

A guy who were one of Raiden students accidentally killed by Kung Lao , accidentally sent to Hell , become a really powerful demon (we like a evil version of Spawn ) , become one of Shinok allies in overthrowing Lucifer , when Sindel become revenant and heard our story it changed something inside of her and she were falling in love with us , in aftermath we introduced ourselves as one of her allies and basically happened usual evil ending aftermath but with us stealing souls of Shao Khan and Shang Tsung )
