okay yeah in that case putting the infant in the poll is funny, but yeah it should have been crowfeather. idk if the poll maker just forgor or knew that a crowfeather vs brambleclaw poll matchup for most hated wc character would cause what's left of twitter to crumble, but yeah should have been crowfeather.

for whatever reason a large part of twitter is still fond of crowfeather and i got pushback from people when i said hitting your kid is Bad. trying to explain he's an abusive father is like pulling teeth on there so the radiation it would have unleashed is awful but i think crow would have lost right away and i would have gotten a sea of bad takes. bullet dodged but damage still taken.

actually,im just realizing windclan has FUCKToN of df trainees,bro what is HAPPENING over there that motivates so many windclanners to train in hell. especially since theyre (allegedly) closer to starclan due to sleeping under the stars on the moors. are they just really bored?

We just don’t know. Most of the WindClan trainees aren’t given motivations.

Actually becomes more glaring the lack of a role heathertail plays in the kin arc after finding out furzepelt (a cat who was her apprentice) was killed during a battle with them. Like,, she was onestars daughter making her and darktail siblings, they both have the -tail suffix, one of her old apprentices died due to a battle w/ him, her father later dies bc of darktail. This was THE time for heathertail to have such a big role in an arc

i love one of my clangen clans (glowclan) so much but it's so chaotic n i want it to be over already-

#puppy rambles #wc #there's the power couple aldergorse n russetbreeze. according to the relations tab they hate each other #but as a kit russetkit had a crush on alderkit so i made them mates as warriors #aldergorse found an abandoned kit (sheepkit) n i decided she adopted him. he's a warrior named sheepspots now #... n also had kits with aldergorse but We Are Going To Ignore That #aldergorse n russetbreeze had a kit who's now a warrior named droughtheather. which is kind of a terrible name but oh well #there's also shellcloud who was a former loner who joined the clan. willed a kit into existence (as i decided). became mates with a former #kittypet named nightwhisker n had kits with him after nightwhisker retired. got an apprentice (droughtpaw)#WHILE in the nursery with the kit she willed into existence. n became drizzlestar's fourth deputy.#drizzlestar has been leader since the clan started btw. originally her deputy was breezepelt who she eventually became mates with #breezepelt froze to death on patrol n drizzlestar moved on from her mate's death n appointed tulipspeckle deputy. tulipspeckle then retired #so tulipspeckle's probably twin sister tbh merrycoral was appointed deputy. at somepoint drizzlestar had a litter #with fadingclan's deputy swampwing. i transed one of the kits' genders <3 she later adopted a loner's litter also #when merrycoral died shellcloud became deputy. in the span of 38 moons she's only lost three lives (all to the same illness)#glowclan is chaotic n i love them <3

don't have much to say and i Kinda Dislike him lol <3 i think that him and leaf's relationship coulda been Better and while i do like leafcrow i dont think it was. done very well in canon KJSDDKL

stop trying to slip crowfeather in as being 'not that bad' or simply 'flawed' parent to breezepelt. he is abusive, full stop. we see multiple scenes of crowfeather berating, belittling, and beating breezepelt as both an apprentice and an adult. he is not just 'distant' he hits him and treats him so cruelly literally all three protagonists comment on it. just because crow says 'i never hated you' once does not negate the abuse.

RARARA SQUIRRELCROW PAGE AHAHAH

anyways I'm renaming Breezepelt to Hop(???) (I don't like the name Hoppelt so I'm stiiiiil thinkin...) (Might also change Lions name but idk) Jayf Holly and Hop still have a very similar relationship to canon, though it is a bit more... complicated? Crow did an Oakheart and gave Hopkit to Nightcloud who was mourning her recent litter (rip two unnamed kits) he claimed to have just found it by the horseplace but everyone kinda knew it was his even though he didn't claim him. Later as an apprentice/warrior he grows resentful of Crowfeather refusing to acknowledge him as his son, causing him to train in the dark forest like in canon. Jayf and Hop develop a strong rivalry in the DF, both being trained by Brokenstar, who encourages a violent rivalry between the two.

The Power of 5 AU -

Moth flight never had kits, instead, she recieved a different prophecy from Micah, one that would not come to fruition in her lifetime, but that she would oversee in Starclan:

“5 cats will be born with the powers of the blazing star in their paws.”

Those Cats are obviously Lionblaze, Jayfeather, Hollyleaf, Ivypool, and Dovewing.

The 5 are both Mothleaf kits and Leafcrow kits, upon being born, Leafpool recieved the prophecy and her thought process was basically the same as Moth Flight’s, 5 clans = 5 cats, and she sends 4 of them on their way to the other clans.

Jayfeather stays in Thunderclan and is raised by Squirrelflight and Brambleclaw, but he is renamed “Sagesight”

Lionblaze is sent to Windclan and raised alongside Breezepelt by Nightcloud, his name is “Tansybreeze”

Dovewing is raised in Shadowclan by Tawnypelt and is renamed “Wisteriawing”

Ivypool is raised in Riverclan by Dawnflower (Minnowtail and Pebblefoot’s mother), and she becomes a medicine cat apprentice under Mothwing. She keeps her original name.

And Hollyleaf is sent all the way to Skyclan, where she is raised by Leafstar. She also keeps her original name.

I have alot of cool stuff planned for this AU, and hopefully i’ll get references out soon because i want to draw them.

I know you talked about Crowfeather's abuse to Breezepelt, but are you keeping Nightcloud's physical abuse against Crowfeather? In all their arguments, Nightcloud is the only one who ever gets physical with Crow. In the books, she rakes her claws against him a few times drawing blood. If I had been young Breeze and had seen that it'd be one of the things that would make me do my best to be and stay in my mother's good graces. Yeah, my dad may smack me but he never cuts me, never leaves me open for death by infection.

When?

Have you read the books you're confidently citing right now? Or did you hear this from some amoeba and then didn't check it before coming into my house
