We went to an antique mall today for my birthday and look at what I found!!

The whole top floor was full of vintage toys and dolls/Barbie’s, I wanted to buy everything 😭

#monster high #the tall ghoul on the counter wasn’t for sale I wanted her so bad 😭#the one in box on the shelf was for sale but she was 250 bucks #I’m definitely going back there when I get paid they can take all my money #they also had an oddity room where I also wanted to buy everything 😭#10/10 today was a good day #the lady who worked this part of the store is also autistic/has adhd #and she said one of her hyperfixations is Barbie and dolls #I swear this woman info dumped about dolls to this girl who was looking for 80s Barbie’s #for a good 30 minutes #I wanted to talk with her so bad I’ve never seen someone else info dump about dolls before I want to be her best friend 😭#we’re going back there some time this week so maybe I’ll get to talk to her next time we go #if you live in Virginia this place is in VA beach!

well have had a good first month of 2024 financially where my et//sy shop is concerned at least!!

#helps that i've had no expenses that weren't directly tied towards sales (coupons & shipping labels)#if i made this amount of profit every month i'd be in decent shape for the year. im expecting less next month tho bc inventory* is #getting low. and it'll take me most of feb to replenish it i think #(*inventory of the things that actually sell lol)#anyway. i'll have a class to pay for next month so that'll eat up any profit i've made lolol #might have to order some new shipping boxes at some point but that can probably wait til march. we'll see #next week i get to do my personal budget and that's gonna be atrocious lol #tho very little of that is from like. irresponsible purchases at least

How the fuck did I spend THREE HOURS in the craft store?? And we went to one literally two days ago too??? I was supposed to just grab two things and LOOK at stuff for craft shows (got a LOT) like 😳

#[static]#breakfast today is 3 chicken nuggets in a forgotten bag in the back of the freezer #and a quarter bag of freezer burned curly fries that ive been saving for such an occasion #its lookin like beans and rice again boys #which is one of my safe foods so i really dont mind it lmao i had it like 6 times last week alone #its nice cuz a single can of beans and a box of wild rice = 3 meals #which is exactly what i did yesterday #though id love to learn how to make good tortillas cuz the price of them has gone up a lot at the store #but they last forever so i usually just get the huge bag when it goes on sale and then have enough to last the month

currently romanticizing all of the small changes happening to our house the longer we live here

#the front yard in the next few weeks will have another planter box some mulch and new flowers #we have a new fridge that's full and a chest freezer that's got several weeks of meat i bought on sale #when we moved in we had only a bunch of overgrown bushes and a leaky fridge that only ever had groceries to last a week #all of which weren't particularly great #i love watching our life come together :')#amazing to think i never pictured living past 25 and now im 2 years from 30
