Man idk what it is about 3 specifically that makes me feel like not only I -lost- skill in the game but that I'm just generally having less fun overall save for Splatfests and things 😔

I just can't keep up like I used to, Splatoon 2 is where I peaked and since then it feels like I'll never get back up to where I was

I'm really resonating with the folks who are bailing out some days

(Don't worry, I 100% plan on taking a good break away from it, I know my limits, it's just a little sad)

#SquidWhaling #I love this game I do and I wanna keep playing but when I'm having fun less than it's not fun I gotta know when to walk away #It's just...too different for me now I think #Not to say Splatoon 2 was 'better' but it was better for ME I guess cause the maps were bigger and things weren't so cramped #And X Rank wasnt so varied now it used to be a more close-range scoring system #And also I didn't have to fight Gold X Badges down in like S Rank /bricked #It may just not be my scene anymore...Sad cause I rly did enjoy the competitive part of it for a long time but #I think my competitive spirit's finally too shaken to really keep that energy #Back to just playin Salmon Run and Splatfests I think #ANYWAY SORRY FOR THE RAMBLE this has actually eaten at me for a few months #Pls take breaks if you feel anything like I do I am boutta go back to Pokemon and Zelda /bricked

#y’all I am going Thru It with my digestive system lately #boutta just throw down and challenge it to hand to hand combat in the gas station parking lot #actually I am beginning to suspect that I may have celiac or something similar #but as I have just been through an incredibly intense multi week health-related anxiety spiral due to googling SymptomsTM #(I say never again every time and what do I do anyway….)#I will be holding all of those thoughts mostly at bay until I can get an appointment with my doctor #but hooo boyyyy would I love to just eat a normal meal and feel normal afterwards again #it feels like it’s been a month #in reality it’s probably been 2 or 3 weeks #either way this is AWFUL :’)#gurt says stuff
