♒ - cooking/food headcanon: I've said it a thousand times before and i'll say it again Arum doesn't eat red meat and is a lying liar about it to scare silly little humans. also the line about baking in Moonlit Hermit wasn't just throwaway, Arum personally loves baking.

■ -  Bedroom/house/living quarters headcanon: i haven't talked about the flower bed in a long fucking time but when Arum was a child he did indeed sleep inside a big giant oversized flower. And he very rarely still does, when he's having a very bad night or maybe when he's ill and needs a bit of extra comfort. The humans are going to find this adorable and he is going to be LIVID. which will be even cuter.

oh childhood friends au my beloved..... i have been stuck on that one for a WHILE but good gravy i love it. Part of the problem is that i've already written what i think of as the climax of the fic and i am now just struggling to get there. and that goddamn knight showing up has thrown a BIG old wrench into things....

What I love about them: Please consult my entire fic library. No but honestly i love everything about this Big Dumb Idiot Lizard. i love a lonely defensive creature who responds with anger to hide his hurt because he doesn't know how NOT to and because it's safer than admitting a weak spot. i love a lizard who both says that the world is wretched and dark but ALSO laments the possibility of leaving the world crueler than he found it. i love the way he CARES and i love how EMBARRASSED he is by his own caring. i just love him. i just love him so so so much.
