Absolutely obsessed with the fact that the high quick background theme in Cut Man’s theme overlaps with the high quick background theme in Boomer Kuwanger’s theme and therefore in Mega Man canon there’s a motif that means “you throw a sharp boomerang from your head”

Launch Octopus for the Mega drones X AU. I'm having some difficulty Working Axl's desgin into the murder drones style so until I think of something I'm just going to do the X1 mavericks which by all accounts should actually be more difficult but eh.

Im rather proud of this one at it feels very absolute Solver-y with its combination of rusty metal and organic matter.

Backstory under the cut

Boomer Kuwanger and Launch Octocpus were once simply known as Serial destination K and Serial Destination O respectively. They were murder drones sent to the far side of Copper nine, K was all about approaching killing worker drones through the most efficient and logical method, meanwhile O was all about the most extravagant deaths possible, so the two didn't get along well.

When Sigma came around with the mutated Absolute Solver program he transformed them using animal DNA Turing K into a stag beetle and O into an Octopus.

They were giving new names being Boomer Kuwanger (though he insist on boomerang Kuwanger) and Launch Octocpus, they were given new orders to find Serial destination-0 and kill anyone who stands in their way.
