Chapter 190 Spoilers
One more day till the anime, is everyone as excited as I am? Can’t believe the time is finally here, I don’t think I was this excited for the first episode of an anime to come out since “Kuroshitsuji:Book of Circus” was announced!
Until then though, let’s see the spoilers for chapter 190!
Tumblr media
As we can see, Isagi and Nagi are still fighting for the possession of that ball and it’s tooth and mail at this point! Neither one of them is willing to concede to the other and they’re making the best use of their weapons for themselves!
Isagi remarks that Nagi is picking a fight with him, by not going after the vacant spot behind Kaiser (which Reo also noted in 189) and he also observes how Nagi’s traps skills have evolved into “A trap that doesn’t kill speed”.
Tumblr media
Using his new and improved Meta Vision, Isagi anticipates Nagi’s movements, taking care to plan his moves and not fall for his traps, like in the past; he goes in for a head shot..
but unfortunately, Nagi still retains possession of the ball!
Tumblr media
Executing a series of traps that get him past both Kaiser and Isagi
(and which are reminescent of Bachira’s playstyle to me)
Nagi approaches the net,
as the goalkeeper, Gagamaru, loudly yells out Isagi’s name, in an attempt to warn him of what’s coming.
Tumblr media
Nagi’s egoism is now in full throttle and he can no longer be stopped, as he takes his shot!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
In between Kaiser and Isagi, Nagi shoots for the goal, as Gagamaru dives in order to stop the ball, yet all of it is futile;
Nagi Seishiro scores a goal for Manshine City, bringing the score to a tie, 2 - 2 now!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the end Nagi and Reo celebrate this success, the score has become tied, with only one point left until the end of the game; whoever scores it, will be the official winner!

Headcanon/Meta: How Bachira can Defeat Isagi using the "Power of Love"
【this post contains Blue Lock manga spoilers】
PLEASE EXCUSE THE CRINGE AF TITLE, but I cannot stop thinking about this idea, so here we are.
This post started as an extension of my initial headcanon (which has spoilers, btw), but then it evolved into a fanfic idea, and now it's suddenly a meta of sorts. Take of it what you will, I just want to get this out:
I reckon that if Bachira and Isagi face each other in a match where they are both in top form, the fight would be neck and neck. Bachira would opt for the plays he finds the most exciting, and Isagi, knowing Bachira so well, would just have to think of a play that's a level or two higher than what Bachira can visualize in order to get an advantage. (Related: The Bachira-Isagi Partnership post-Second Selection Arc)
However, although Isagi knows Bachira, Bachira knows him just as much. Isagi plays with a lot of thinking and analyzing, and the best way to subvert that as his opponent is to be as unpredictable as possible.
Bachira can just do the complete opposite of what he was planning and go crazy with another play. And this would totally work since he's more of the type to figure things out as he goes instead of spending so much time planning beforehand.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So far, Isagi has won against players stronger than him by "devouring" them, which is essentially him stealing a weapon of theirs and making it his own. Bachira's weapon is dribbling, and I honestly don't see Isagi suddenly magically devouring such a high technique skill in the middle of a game. He may know how it works in his head, but that won't necessarily mean he can immediately replicate it.
And when their skills and predictions are leveled, what then should be the decisive factor in who wins?
This is where the "power of love" comes in.
(Yes, I know, that sounded so cheesy)
In a game where both technique and strategy is not enough, the only way to break through is to just give it all you've got, maybe make something "super special," and hope that luck is on your side.
And it may just be me being biased, but I really think Bachira would win against Isagi. In terms of physical skills, it is a given that Bachira is a notch higher than Isagi. He will also be more "emotionally-charged" in the game, and since his love language is practically soccer (aside from physical intimacy, of course), he'd be feeling on top of the world.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And playing an intense soccer match against the person he loves? What more could he ask for.
Love makes you do crazy and sometimes even reckless things. Bachira will be dancing wildly on the field, just playing to the tune of his heart.
And Isagi won't get it. He can't predict it. After all, how can he win against something so illogical and unrestrained when he doesn't even understand what love is? (Soccer is the only thing that's ever on his mind.)
Isagi is going to be completely thrown off, the same way he was thrown off by Nagi's play in chapter 190. He didn't even understand how Nagi was able to do what he did that he had to ask and be spoonfed the answer.
So just imagine when Bachira starts pulling off the same thing, but with love motivating him instead. Isagi won't fucking get it. He may ask Bachira, but then what? It's not going to change anything. Isagi will just be more confused.
Okay, that's all. Thank you for attending my TED Talk haha (◕ᴗ◕✿)
The likelihood of this actually happening in canon in zero since Blue Lock is a shounen, after all... but hey, a girl can dream.

omg a fellow bachira stan!! <333 !!!! also i cant help but think that bachira and violinist!mc could be besties if they met before blue lock happen,, sth sth abt the mutual understanding of the loneliness when chasing after the hobby/ passion that u may be the only one to understand the full extent of your love for it bc when telling other ppl they'll go was it that serious? unless u meet someone who gets it, like bachisagi
will we get more info on the person who won 1st place in the future chapters tho? if the person and violinist!mc are in the same prefecture until the end of their highschool years, wont they run into each other during competition season?
nagi and gojo...190 cm men with white hair and a lil deranged...if one more guy with this criteria exist and u happen to dislike him well hfgfbkfhbvkf
also i saw that you're catching up to sakamoto days?!?!?! i'm so!!!!! the sakamoto, nagumo, rion + uzuki group makes me so aughhh wdyt even happen for uzuki to just flipped and why rion is [redacted] - 🐱
no bc bachira and violinmc would actually get along so well change my mind!!!! bachira would definitely help her loosen up lmfao she's way too wound up tightly (pun intended). i actually think barou and violin!mc would get along wayyy too well for nagi's liking (barou appreciates classical music. i know this. he listens to classical music while he works out and he understands #the grind)
as for the person who won first place i actually envisioned that he actually got bored of playing and quit LMAO but who's to say he won't make an appearance later <333
HELP I DON'T HATE NAGI!!!! 😭😭😭 but...the similarities....are there (bad breakup included help).....also nagi being over 190cm is actually sending me though like why is he so tall he's like a tree 😭 he doesn't even look it bc he's slouching half the time too LMAO
spoilers for sakamoto days below!
i definitely think uzuki had something to do with rion's death like they were paired up together for a reason during their mission and i think it was more than just to show their conflicting ideologies revolving around taking a life!!!! i just think it's surprising how sakamoto didn't recognize uzuki!!! but then again idt hs sakamoto was rlly in the business of really caring since it's shown that he's much more apathetic than the current sakamoto we know (character development we love to see it) but also im so fucking mad rion is the one the mangaka chose to kill off. she's such a bad bitch the narrative couldn't handle her. but also misogyny. like what the hell 😭

Chapter 190 Predictions
Ok, so it’s been a busy day, but I’m finally getting to my predictions for chapter 190 of Blue Lock. That being said, I remember it’s to be called “Vortex”, which reminded me of a comment from before regarding Isagi; I think it was Agi who was calling him “the eye of the storm”?🤔
Just a sec…
Tumblr media
Yep, it was Agi. 😂
That being said, I guess the chapter will be likely about Isagi and Nagi’s interaction in this 1 vs. 1 and seeing who comes out of it victorious.
So, let’s see those predictions:
- Nagi making those acrobatic plays of his, where he manipulates the ball with his full body, in order to send it where he wants it;
- Isagi doing a decent job of keeping up with Nagi;
- maybe some more passes between Nagi and Reo?
- Kaiser possibly getting in the way again, cuz by now, we all know that’s his style…😒😩;
- I would like to say that Isagi will completely block Nagi and steal possession of the ball, but somehow, I don’t think that’s gonna happen…;
- Nagi scoring a goal, so that the score can be tied at 2 - 2 now and the stakes can be raised for the next play from Bastard Munchen;
- we’ll get to see a few reactions from the people sitting on the bench, from those watching the game online and maybe from Yukimiya and Kunigami too?
This is about it, what I have so far; once I get to it, I’ll post the spoilers too!

Chapter 189 Spoilers
Ok, so the spoilers for chapter 189 have been out for a good, long while, but I still want to keep some consistency, so I’m posting them now and after, I’ll get to my theories for 190 and then, the spoilers for that one.
Tumblr media
So, the game starts off strongly for the English team, the Nagi-Reo combo surprising many of the players on the German team. Even so, Kaiser and Isagi are still keeping their cool and trying to determine the best move they can make to regain control of the field.
Tumblr media
Now, we get to Reo gushing over Nagi, like he tends to do, going down flashback lane (including some which are actually from the Nagi episode, which was a nice touch!) and being all sappy, like
“I can’t believe you’ve finally found your dream, Nagi!”, “It’s all thanks to you that I can fight now”, “If we’re together we can do anything!”
- I’m paraphrasing, though barely, trust me!!!
And to all of that, honestly, the only thing I got to say is this:
SPAAAAAAAAARE ME.
THIS IS BLUE LOCK.
GET OUT OF HERE WITH THAT.
Tumblr media
Now Nagi and Reo are working together in order to get past the players from Bastard Munchen, by using those quick and precise passes that they employed in the past as well, with Reo guiding Nagi on the field and Nagi trapping the ball accordingly.
Reo’s a better player than before, which shows and Nagi also remarks upon it, but that only makes me feel that it’s a pity he’s once more chosen a supporting role for himself.
Indeed, Nagi and Reo seem to be on a roll, but then…
Tumblr media
Who better to stop them and curve their advance, but Isagi and Kaiser?
Reo is utterly astonished they were able to read his and Nagi’s play (which, honestly, he shouldn’t be, Isagi’s seen them play together before and Kaiser, no matter how much I might dislike him, has got actual skill). Nagi is also surprised to see his path being blocked at first and then his eyes seem to get dark, like Kaiser’s get when he’s in a bad mood, as Nagi is now forced to send the ball back to Reo, becuz he can’t get past both Isagi and Kaiser alone.
Tumblr media
And this is how we get to the final pages of chapter 189:
Reo judging that the best scoring pass is behind Kaiser, but dismissing all of that becuz this is about Nagi and what Nagi wants, what he dreams of, is victory against Isagi, so he’s gonna go ahead and challenge Isagi in a sort of 1 on 1 for possession of the ball.
Only the spoilers for chapter 190 will tell whether Reo is gonna regret that or not…
