MORE BEASTS OF THE BLOOD SEA. Well actually just whales, very pink ones to! The usual info dump is found below!

The Blushing Fluke is a large whale belonging to a larger group of baleenless baleen whales of the Atlantic. Flukes are divided into two main groups, which habit different areas of the Atlantic. Which by the by is divided in two by a scab field into the sunless Northern Atlantic Fester and the Eternal Hemorrhage, which is slowly diluting back into the global sea. These fellas inhabit the Fester! Here the air is frigid and the blood is hot! Being that these guys are huge they struggle with the problem of overheating in the 93 degree blood bath. Their solution is the ability to inflate and hold their tongues up and out of the sea. The blood engorged organ is chilled by the freezing air and they cool right on down. This solution helps them maintain their large size while subsisting off the blood around them, simply swimming along slurping up the cooler surface ichor as they go. The large size is moreso to ward off predators, the fester is home to the Atlantic's immune system, which does not take kindly to animals eating it. Their large size lets them take a bit of a beating before they outrun their attackers, the macro-macrophages if you would.

Crazy theory but my brother and I have had this theory about adventure time being like the dethklok universe: post like everything ig. Just because of this one episode in season 1 of adventure time where its about finn being afraid of the water. If you know what i am talking about lemme know what you think. Am i just pulling this theory out my ass? Maybe,,,but there are a lot of lil bits in the one episode that if you squint could easily be referencing metalocalypse. Lemme know what you think!!!!

IRON LUNG AM I RIGHT

Some bats of the Atlantic! Four main types and their range in the scab layers. 

All are derived from the vampire bat, who actually did really well when the ocean turned to blood. (Wonder why)

1. Brat. A fun little fellow who spends their life scampering around on the crust layer of the scab fields, burrowing(eating) themselves a little hidey hole whenever they fancy. Brats are numerous and don’t worry about much else but predation and rain, which often kills a big chunk of their population at a time. They have solved this by pumping out babies like its nobodies business. In two and a half months a female can gestate, nurse, and wean four little babies to run out into the world. Very cute

2. Clotmole. These bats live solely below the layer of crust, tunneling through their home/food source with eyes buried below their skin. They are pretty lazy, slow going creatures who don’t have much to worry about at all. Only making sure they don’t burrow out into the unclotted blood of the sea. 

3. Lipo. A clotmole that has adapted to burrowing down further into the still soft portions of the scab. They primarily feed on the bits of fat that tend to accumulate on the bottom of scabbergs and are quite good swimmers! These guys have lost their eyes entirely and rely only on their whiskers to feel around for their food. They tend to eat with their hind legs still in their burrows, ready to pull themselves back up if danger arises. 

4. Ghoul. Having given up feeding exclusively on the blood around them, these guys prefer to go after the other things swimming around with them in the ichor. A favorite snack being their smaller brethren. They can return to eating the blood if needed for a time, but they cant sustain themselves on it for very long. Like the two above they also lack eyes and rely on touch and sound to get around.

Gonna just say it. All those veins behind Mark in the trailer, it looks like he's inside a giant creature. Living planet? It'd explain all the un-coagulated blood, maybe?
