I love when I never get any gaming time (baby + sick partner + disgusting amount of work to do on my 'leave')

and I want to play a million things (bg3 + coral island when 1.0 comes out tomorrow + I bought mass effect legendary edition on sale + I have the urge to play ffxiv again)

but then I actually get some time to play and I just... do nothing or do something else

#I haven't played bg3 in AGES and I want to do another galemancer + play mirielle + a durge #and I kinda wanna finally do a complete ME run with blair (I never finished me3 with her...)#and I know I'm gonna be obsessed with coral island again once 1.0 comes out #and I miss maty.....#but here I am just mindlessly looking at websites and/or being convinced by the partner to play fucking diablo with him

so gale just gave iona the "damn you for giving me so much to care about" talk (i almost started crying it was so fucking good) and i think i've decided it's this moment that rlly like. starts changing her significantly

i've had her progressively getting less grumpy and cold as the game has gone on (as i imagined) but this talk with gale i feel is smth that really shakes her

like. wow. these people care for her. deeply. they have stayed with her and trusted her despite her shitty attitude. which is something she's never had. she's discovering she cares for them just as deeply and doesnt know how to process this. she starts to wonder for the first time whether she's finally found something worth fighting for :)
