Recently I had a bruise on my forehead (idk why) and I took a pic of the bruise and found out I have giant pores on my forehead. My life has been ruined by this information.
I just want you to know regarding that post you reblogged with the clip of Ariel and Flounder: I had Biore strips on my face and the moment I saw Ariel fucking taunting this dead-ass looking fish in her hands, I fucking lost my shit and nearly ripped those damn strips off my face from laughing so hard. Disney somehow found an unexpected way to make their new live action movie a comedy.
I will say that seeing people come together to laugh at the many bad decisions going into this 'grey-make' has put a smile on my face.
Let's bring up two more!
1. Triton's daughters looking like a collection of 'It's a Small World' character-actors bringing in the unfortunate implication that either Triton had a sideho in every ocean or that Triton was following the Henry VIII school of matrimony ('Did you give birth to a boy?'/'No...' *YEET* 'Did you give birth to a boy?'/'I... Ugh, no.' *DEAD*)
2. I'm going back to the hair again, I'm sorry. But Jlongbone brought up a great point when she watched the trailer: black and African people, when we have braids or locs... That shit is HEAVY when it gets wet, so some of the scenes we've seen of Ariel trying to triumphantly breach the surface... You can see where the director didn't take that into account because you can definitely see some neck-strain from multiple takes.
yes of course!!!! disclaimer that all of this may not work for you obv but i think these are all really good products at least 💃🏻 also i have normal veeeeery slightly on the sensitive side skin that is prone to drying out slightly especially from stripping cleansers and also very acne prone esp hormonal acne around my mouth/chin area. i went on accutane in high school which permanently dried my skin out (used to be sooooooo extremely oily) but my acne has come back in recent years
this is the am routine i use
biologique recherche p50 and p50w alternating days- these do the majority of heavy lifting in the morning they are the best chemical exfoliants i have tried ever! veeeeery expensive unfortunately like idk how im gonna buy more when these run out :( but great ingredients and very effective. p50 original is very harsh so i use p50w which is for sensitive skin every other day
mad hippie vitamin c serum-this has gotten rid of all of my freckles LOL which kind of makes me sad but shows that this is effective doesnt it! i feel like it has brightened my skin up significantly…time will tell if it can fade the crazy hyperpigmentation i have going on i will update but hopefully! its very gentle and non irritating as well
stratia liquid gold- one thing i have learned and recently come to terms with in my skincare journey is that you do NOT need to be slapping on 500 different heavy thick hydrating lotions essences and creams every day to be hydrated. in fact your skin might not agree with that! and as much as i like a super thick moisturizer my skin does not unfortunately. and this is so lovely and nourishing while still being light!! its a cult favorite for a reason it is truly excellent and especially good for daytime underneath spf
spf- i just use basically any sunscreen i have laying around LMAO biore is my fav along with the dr g green mild up sun but i use them sparingly for days i know im gonna be in heavy sun exposure. i also like any la roche posay ones basically and elta md (too expensive though) and missha 🙂 i DONT like silicone based sunscreens that slide all over ur face like the supergoop unseen sunscreen
pm routine
clean it zero-BEEEEEEEST cleansing balm also only cleansing balm ive tried but why mess with perfection…great texture gets everything off so easily…and affordable yas
lrp toleriane hydrating cleanser- better than the cerave hydrating cleanser! doesnt do a lot but cleanses your face so gently without feeling greasy or weird like some hydrating cleansers tbh. not stripping/drying at all either which a loooot of cleansers do to me cuz for some reason my skin is especially sensitive to them
adapalene- luv me some retinoids i use this every night cuz my skin is so used to it! you can get this over the counter as differin or lrp effaclar i think. i want to make the switch to tretinoin soon though i think🤔 works so well for acne combined with the rest of a good routine! i put this on a dry face and then wait like 2-3 minutes before continuing w the rest of my skincare
stratia rewind- idk i just like having a niacinamide serum in my routine and this is a good one with excellent ingredients and vitamins and stuff. is it doing a lot of heavy lifting…idk not really! but its good and affordable
and stratia liquid gold again! again i find my skin likes a light layer of hydration best instead of slapping a pound of nivea cream or smth on there
and then i go to sleep and i wake up and my skin is gettjng better every day and if i do get a zit it goes away like within a day or so 🙂 sorry this is so long i hope this helps mwaaaaaaaaaah

Biore, I am never going to buy one of your pore strips, but I will give you $5 to please stop showing me nasty close-ups of sebaceous filament being pulled from a nose. Thank you.
death to celebrity/influencer doctors. "dr" grande who has philosophy phd but uses dr making people think he's a licensed psychiatrist or something. dr mike preaching in videos but he still broke rona safety regulations and went to some party. pimple popper lady who said pore strips are bad but when biore paid her she posted ads. that whole nft scam. when rona started dr youn posted some weird shit about 'dirty chinese food'. also hyram who is nothing but a hobbyist yet runs his mouth like he's a derm. dr dray who deletes/blocks all negative comments. those two derm guys who make videos like 'overhyped products' but dont even explain why is that. "therapists" who reacted to that recent celebrity trial to make quick buck. dont get me started on mr phil who lost his right to call himself a doctor like in the 90s. dr oz. also fuck medical medium and guys like dr amen
