A film which manages to typify both the "chain of deals" and "chain of harm" tropes, wherein deals are made which are contingent on other deals being made, and each deal somehow spawns worse and worse consequences for our characters, such that the harm done is carried further along the chain of deals. Also, the whole film is animated to look like art made from actual chains (metal, plastic, bike chains, etc.) and it's all pantomime and exigent music cues as there's no actors to appear on screen or voice any of the characters.

Light heads to meet L at the pick-up point for their date and is met with a surprise. Another more frustrating surprise was finding out that Sayu had followed him. She briefly meets “Hideki Ryuga,” and has her suspicions all but confirmed as far as she knows. With the delay over, they drive off to officially begin the date.
today my bike I have had for 7 years got stolen so I was really upset and called or went to every pawn shop on my side of the city then came home and realized I hadn't eaten at all throughout the day and I'm bleeding into my clothing (normal monthly blood). well. :/
