There was ages ago this runaround for an draw your mutuals OC's in your style and can you tell my backlog is not just reserved for older work but also work I did this year?
Anyway so I did the OC Meme with my mutuals OC's and because I am colour fixated I went through a rainbow with the entire thing so we start with purple, meaning we start with dear Raja by @boafb who I adore massively just as much as her grandkid. I also love that they have basically the same colour just a hue apart. Okay, I mean idk how it conveys in digital but both for Raja and her grandkid Friedrike I use the same colour family of copics (BG70 - BG78) and mix it with a particular shade of cool greys to get their colours right and Friedrike has a ligther shade of the muted turquoise as main colour (BG72) and the next darker one as shading (BG75) and grandma Raja has that darker shade as main colour (BG75 & shading BG78) basically and it is very pleasing to me how you can tell the family relations by the colours like Friedrike has some fur on her too that she got from her grandpa so like I love that kinda stuff a lot and I will never not shut the fuck up how amazing Boa's babes are not only conceptually but also how cleverly there are just design relations via colours and stuff like hell fucking yeah.

4. Last Song I Listened To: Jack Sparrow - Lonely Island (I asked @not-madder-red for a genre prompt for meme recordings, and her response was rap, and for some reason I thought of this... the recording's as done as it'll ever be but I'unno where to put it.)
5. Hobbies: Uh, I jump around a lot, but always something to do with creating. Singing/recording cheesy 80s/90s love songs, drawing, writing, mostly I like making jokes and memes. I play enough piano/brass for work that I don't consider it a hobby, but I still enjoy it. Drawing naked dude torsos has always been my artistic comfort-zone, but digital art is only something I've tried to work on in the past couple of months.
6. Favorite Color: Abyss Green, BG75 in Copic-speak. Most of my marker art is grayscale/"greenscale" using the BG70s set exclusively. Haven't done any non-digital art aside from doodles in a little while, though.
7. Last Movie I Watched: IRIS: A Space Opera by Justice. Justice is one of my favorite electronic bands and they had a special showing of their audience-less live show recording/movie recently. Their shows are awesome, haven't been to one yet but would like to in the future.
8. Favorite Book: Uhhhhhh. Hm. One that sticks out to me is Slaughterhouse-Five, helped me think about accepting time and death in a way that changed how I think about a lot of things in life. I am obsessed with all of Chuck Palahniuk's stuff, and most of the sci-fi dystopia classics.
9. Dream Job: Meme Machine. Literally, I just wanna write/sing/draw memes all day. I like laughing at myself for the stupid shit that comes out of my head sometimes, and I like that there are other people that can laugh with me.
10. Meaning behind my URL: Have I ever told you about my cat Basby? When I adopted her, I decided on the name Babybell because I love cheese. When I typed her name into the nametag kiosk at the pet store, I typo'd it as "Basby" and thought it was funny when I noticed, so I kept it as just that. I've learned that some of the best things in life come from mistakes. And bitsby is just a play on words, as I like to do a little bit of everything.

Fun With Cats
It’s Karen here today. I’m playing with the new release from Joset! Specifically, today, I made three cards using the absolutely adorable Cat die set. So many fun options with these character dies and their accessories! Instead of including “steps” for each card, I am including the basics about how I made them and what products I used with each. The first one is this fun white cat. This card has a Dashing Rectangle of White Soft Finish Card Stock for the card front and a Dashing Square of Butterfly Dreams Paper (backed with blue cardstock). The sentiment from Furrever Friends Clear Stamps is another Dashing Square die cut. The cat is cut from White Soft Finish Cardstock, and I added some Copic color greys (C1 and C7) and pink (R81). The bow is BG72 and BG75. I finished the card off with lace and twine. Onto the next card: How fun! I used paper from the Manly Man Collection. The cat is colored with Vintage Photo and Dark Walnut Tim Holtz Distress Inks. (Whiskers and eyes are Copic C7). That FuN graduation had is from the Hats dies, and again the sentiment is from Furrever Friends. The fish bones […]
