(warning:most are poly headcanons but i can make sepreate headcanons if requested or asked)

Clive Rosfield + Jill Warrick

-For starters Torgal just loves you <3 -seeing as torgal is family to them, his trust in you is important -if the wolf approves of you, dating one or even both will be a breeze -ultimate support group -when you have rough times they're there for you -Clive will help you by talking things out -he understand if you mind is conflicted or if you're mind is a overall mess -he's patent with you and willing to stay with you to figure things out -jill can't stand when you have low self esteem -self doubt and having a jumbled mind is also not new to jill and ,like clive, she understands the struggles of it -words of encouragement is a given when dating them -going out away from the hidaway by yourself will become much of a challenge -jill, clive, or torgal has to be with you -dating outlaws is not the safest option for they have just as many enemies as they do allies -so you definitely have to keep your wits bout you -jill and clive are affection people but they're probably both shy about expressing their love for you in public.

Joshua Rosfield+jote

-Safety is number one with them - especially during the long journey with ultima and joshua's condition -due to this the relationship seems to be strained with very few intimate moments -jote takes up the main take carer role ensuring you and Joshua's health are at there best for the most part -when you're all resting from a long walk ,or because Joshua is coughing fit, she greatly appreciates when you help her or when you take initiative and take care of jote and Joshua -the best you'll get in terms of dates are long supply runs with jote when medicine is low or yall need to restock -the company cheers jote's morale and makes the journey worth it - although Joshua's condition makes it hard from time to time for him to participate in the mini date supply runs, he has other ways to spend some time with you -if jote does a solo trip, Joshua would offer to tell stories about his childhood or do fun makeshift games. - he doesn't want his condition getting in the way to have a normal relationship - although Joshua appreciates your support and willingness to see this though, he's not very fond of you joining them and makes it difficult if things if times get tough - despite these jote and Joshua are willing to make as many happy moments even if it's for a moment

Cidolfus Telamon

-Despite what happen with Benedikta,who’s not really fond with you, your relationship is quite a positive one -Although he can’t give you everything you wanted, he still insures you have a comfortable life -You’re also like a second parent to mid :) -something you have to get used to when being with him is the smell of smoke off of him and his expeditions to make the twins a better place -like clive and jill, cid is not fond of you going by yourself and is even more against of you helping the cause on a more hands on level -it’s dangerous out there and the last thing he want is you being kidnapped or be killed -he’ll never forgive himself if you got hurt - i feel like cid is a fairly romantic man -the type of person who would bring you flowers and your favorite treats when in stock -you’re one of his main drives to make the world a better place

Benedikta Harman

-very touchy ngl -very physically affectionate -cuddles are a must every night -i feel like she shows more of her softness and becomes more vulnerable with you -she trust you to vent all of her frustrations and express her true feelings -benedikta would never tell you her previous relations with cid,hugo nor Barnabas in fear of you leaving her like cid did or only be used by you like Barnabas dose -she spoils you with anything you desire that is in her power to give to you -anything to gain your attention and love -with you i feel like she’ll try to aim more for a general romantic normal relationship instead of something more sexual -I also think in her head she sees you as another cid with better qualities and differences which make her heart swoon

-your relationship is top secret for a multitude of reasons -you’re a target for enemy nations -his father may disapprove of the whole thing all together -his snake of a stepmother and brother -the counsel,astrologers -too many eyes that could pry to ya’ll temporary paradise -outsiders see you three as close friends and companions and the only few who are close to the prince -loyalty is important between you three -terence is willing to support whatever you do and be a pillar of support just like how he does with dion -Terence is willing to hear you out when days get tough and listen to your worries and offer solutions -terence will find opportunities and opening to spend time with you and help you with simpler things like shopping or running errands -Dion will make sure you’re treated like royalty -I feel like Dion make sures terence needs are met seeing he’s his lover after all so im dang sure he’ll spred the treatment to you when you join there forbidden relationship -dion likes to write letters for you and each letter have wyvern tail seeds for you to plant or wyvern tail flower -Being prince and leader of the dragoons makes him relatively busy so letter are one of the few way to communicate with you

Barnabas Tharmr + sleipnir Harbard

-honestly wishing u the best of luck -your treated like a god by them -sleipnir is your personal attendant given by barnabas which made him grow more fond of you -barnabas doesn't care for sleipnir's grown fondness as it's no different from sending a clone of himself just to have the clone like you - barnabas is a clingy man which is often shown through his touch or though Sleipnir's actions how he follows you much like a shadow -once you're in this relationship there's hardly any way out that doesn't result in turing you akashic -they don't expect much from you, you're only human after all -what they do expect is 100% total loyalty to them and to ultima -you literally can do anything and get away with almost everything -want some jewelry? barnabas got them -want a massage? it would be sleipnir pleasure -want a kingdom destroyed? holding hands with clive is a bit awkward- the first few times, especially. your hands will bump together, fingers half mangled and mashed together; the first few times are those for trying. his hands are warm, always. warm from the heat of the fire they produce, warm from his own nerves that heat his palms and make his skin perspire, warm from nervous tendencies where he wrings his hands together or against his clothes; they are warm, but earnest, as is clive himself, to be held just as earnestly.

when holding hands with benedikta, beware; she is always thinking on ways to pull you in closer. scheming away, thinking of an advantage to seek out further contact with the skin of her beloved. her hands are calloused along her palms from long years of swordplay, though they are long from loosing their softness. typically she prefers to link just a few fingers together- perhaps just pinkies- and progress her way to pressing your palms together, arms knocking together if walking and body creeping closer if simply sat or layed together.

joshua’s hands are softer than one might expect; perhaps even after so many years, certain self care habits are engrained, perhaps it’s his preference in not using a blade perhaps it’s just something so.. joshua, that it just is. his fingers are long and slender, like one might picture of a pianist, slight calluses formed on his thumb and the heel of his palm juxtapose the other parts of his hands. holding hands with joshua is like a new spring- a rebirth for your emotions and his, life anew, peace, every time you hold his hand. the feeling of home.

as much of a titan of a man hugo is, his hands are surprising in their dexterity. large fingers and even larger hands work tirelessly, work until his hands are practically dust so that they may curl around your fingers and your hands. all he wants is their reciprocal touch, their wandering over his- simply holding, admiring the security each lover brings to the other through simple touches. and he does, really does try, to convey the cadence of his admiration through the touch of his hands to your own- caressing your palms, rough fingers dragging over knuckles and lips ghosting over fingertips.. sometimes simple adoration is all he needs.

the feeling of his hands is a conundrum- dion’s hands both provide shelter in their adoration and cause calamity in their overwhelming sweetness. worn but well cared for, his hands are those of a warrior, blemished yet soft and dexterous while while still remaining strong. his thumb is somehow always dragging over your palm- slowly and in small circles when calm, backwards and forwards over your knuckles when sad, gripped a smidge too tight in anxious moments.. his hands, ones that will always seek to cradle, will always seek your hands out.

though his hands are clumsy and calloused, barnabas will never reject the offer to hold your hand. call him greedy, he’s perfectly fine with the acceptance of such a title, just please keep your hands pressed into his. let him feel your fingers tracing the backs of his palms, the dull thrum of your pulse in your fingertips and the one more steady at the junction of your wrist. let him sink into his subconscious, let him feel you, feel how real you are and how steady your presence is in front of him. please stay close to him, let him have this.

upon first thought, holding hands with jill would not ever lack sincerity- she has such honesty that she wears like a suit of armour, such sincerity that breaks through the crack of every falsehood that ever has been, is or will be. holding jill’s hand is like the first night sleeping on clean linen, like the reprieve of being rebuilt with cool air after standing outside in the summer heat to melt, like dandelion fuzz in the wind or the satisfaction one feels upon returning home after a long trip away. holding hands with jill is kisses to knuckles in quiet moments and whispered confessions in moments of twilight wakefulness.

scars, burns and other marks in every shape and size may litter the skin of his hands and arms- his entire body really- but cid’s hands, mighty as they are and have ever been, will always be tender upon the first contact with yours. the faded and fresh scars on his hands, from scrap ups as a younger man and years of continuous use of a blade make his skin rough and raised, not at all smooth but with its own story to tell. each scar, each burn and old battle wound is worn with pride- he will tell you the story of each and ever one (no matter how silly some may be, believe me some are), with an arm around your waist and one hand holding yours, mapping out the stories of the marks on his skin.

-oh they’ll think that’s amazing! -Jill would encourage you use your talents to help the Hideaway -Clive,although curious about how you lean such a thing, would also encourage you to help out -definitely save clive half the trouble when going in dungeons(seriously magitek are annoying) -If you’re skilled enough to control the little magitek or even the golems this would be a huge help in protecting the hideaway from outside forces -both jill and clive would be reluctant to use your assets for any combat purposes due to there overprotectiveness over you -No matter if this ability is primarily magic based or more physical, they don’t want you to tire yourself out -also this ability can help on the enemy sides and they definitely don’t want that -Jill and Clive aren’t ones to pry into your secrets so If there’s a particular reason why and how you learned how to control fallen technology they won’t ask too many questions -at this point in the relationship, they trust you enough to make the right choices and tell them the truth when ready

-would also be overjoyed about this power in fact would utilized this more then clive and jill. -they don’t want to exhaust yourself to death but more information about fallen tek is greatly appreciated and valued -Joshua would convince you to use this ability to control fallen technology inorder for jote and the Undying to conduct further research that can help defeat ultima with limited casualties ,prevent or contain the blight -Jote would be curious on how you gain these abilities -She wouldn't push on your secrets too much but would try to get you to spill -Jote wants no poison in the foundation of yall’s relationship -both would be more protective over you -especially when your powers can be used against their cause

-suspicious of this control you have on fallen tek -I mean it makes cid’s hideaway safer sense it’s in a fallen structure assuming you could use the leftover fallen tek as security cameras -but there’s this lingering question on how where and why can you control fallen technology -like the others Cid doesn't want to pressure the answers out of you and would prefer you tell him the truth -But if you don’t mentioned it long enough or allow him to adapt to this ability, he doen’t push the conversation -as long as you’re using it for good -unlike jill,clive,jote,and joshua he wouldn't utilize you as much -maybe ask for you to get some patrolling golems to have outside in secret but the rest is up to you -If he really needs you then he’ll ask but other then that he’s chill about it and doesn't make a fuss

====Benedikta============

-yeah… she’s gonna ask a ton of questions -gives you the “big stick” treatment -she love you but will drop you if you betray her -this especially if you just now shown her you could control fallen technology -you’re gonna have to do a lot of convincing to keep whatever secret you have that’s tied to this ability of yours -would definitely use you for her own personally gain -”if you love me so much can you just do this little thing” -she would use you to make a empire if you let her -she’d be queen while you be her one and only consort -it’s your reward for your outstanding loyalty

-”. . . .” -”I beg your pardon?” -Dion would have no idea how to approach this topic -Terence would not know how to react when he found out you can control fallen technology -Dion would become very protective with you and would encourage you not to get involved in any military or political schemes -Terence would be the same and would suggest you tell absolutely no body -people talk and If the king knows you will be exploited as another tool conquest along side dion -neither want that -They REFUSE to utilize this ability of yours and prefer you don’t use it unless absolutely necessary -they wouldn't love you less or look at you differently or ask how you even discover you can control fallen technology -they know you have this power and appreciate you tell them that much about yourself -But they don’t want you to use it unless you have to

-yeah you’re gonna be used -A lot -they don’t care how you got or where you got it -Barnabas would be slightly curious on how and where and would 100% pressure you to answer -you have the option to lie although he would prefer the truth -regardless Barnabas would utilize you somewhat safely considering how valuable you are you can land in enemy hands -Barnabas would send you and Sleipnir to gather an army of magitek so conquest would be easier -Despite this, you will be kept on a tighter leash -They can’t have you betraying them now can they~ -things wouldn't change significantly other then you have more work then just warming the throne

====Hugo============

-would find it interesting -although this gives him even more reason to protect you at all cost -with such power you can easily be used to overthrow hundreds of kingdoms if you wanted too -No he wouldn't utilized this perhaps it’s because he view himself strong enough to keep you safe -although he wouldn't be as worried for he can just ask you to make your own guard squad when he has to use his man -He would personally go out and go into fallen structures and retrieve parts or full fallen tek equipment to use as much as you like -I don’t think he would act any different regardless

What makes them worry about there S/o

========Clive + jill============== -when you’re out for long periods by yourself This was briefly mentioned earlier but clive and(Mostly) Jill would feel uncomfortable leaving you to your own devices for longer periods far away from any safe spots like Martha’s rest. Both suggest to have someone to accompany you.

-when in battle It's not news that you'll have to draw weapons at someone but it's a event they wish you'd avoid. Battling is like playing a game with chance and skill so not even they would know if you'll make it out alive in a fight. Because of this, they wish you avoid conflict at all costs or let them help you solve the problem.

=======Joshua + jote============= -when you and joshua by yourselves -jote is protective over both of you -yall’s safety is very important to her so having you guys out by yourselves makes her anxious -on the otherside joshua would be in the same situation if you and jote are out alone together -not only he fears of you both not returning when he’s bedridden he also fears of ultima who might get in contact with either one of you -unlike clive and jill, this worry would only stem if you are out with joshua or with jote for a extended period of time -for example; jote is shopping for medicine while both you and joshua are out and about shopping for useful items. When she returns to the inn/hotel/home and realized y'all haven't return, she begins to worry

====Cid=============== -he’s not the biggest worry wart but he has his moments when he’s concern -you can be out for extended periods in time(like explorations long) -you could be traveling too close to odin's territory or hang around in the blight -what makes him worry the most is when you’re injured -getting hurt any sort of way makes his heart sink. -like who hurt you? What harmed you? -being hurt or you having a near death experience would traumatize him

====Benedikta============ -based on canon she has some sort of abandonment issues(from my pov when i was playing) -so she worries i can even say fears that one day you’ll leave her -especially if you became almost a perfect replacement for that empty hole cid left within her -she does her best to become a good lover to you and would hide things from you if it means she’ll stay with you -if she cares enough for you,she’ll even put away some of her selfishness and try to accommodate to your needs -but this fear also explains her possessiveness and can be somewhat controlling of you -the last thing she wants is you to leave her alone

======Dion + terence============== -most fears and worries come from Dion -boi has a lot going on and since he has a image to keep and responsibilities he does worry he’ll have little time to spend with you -Terence also has the same worries for he has to be by Dion’s side as his second in command -this worry of making you feel left out also stems from them being gone for long periods of time dealing with orders from Dion’s father,Sylvestre, casualty wanting a conquest -they also both worry if you’re caught in the crossfire of anything -be it monsters, akashic, or even if Dion has to use Bahamut on home turf -Dion dose worry about you getting hurt by him -Terence just worries if you get into any trouble without protection

=====Barnabas + Sleipnir============ -barnabas dose fear about your death -although ultima’s ideals rain supreme, he does fear that he’ll lose the only think he cares about which is you -sleipnir holds similar worries and acts on these worries on barnabas’s behalf by granting you round the clock protection and advice so you wouldn't be turned akashic or end up parishing under any means -helicoptering you is just the side effect on having some power over odin -behind close doors barnabas truly worships you similarly to hugo -so you dying or having to be turned into basically a ether infused zombie is not something he looks forward to

====Hugo============ -like barnabas, he worries of your untimely demise -hugo wouldn't go so far as to helicopter you but would often suggest guards to accompany you or him -he always worries if something were to happen to you like a major injury -if you do end up fighting someone and you end up hurt, if the person who assaulted you is alive he would kill them and there entire bloodline and anyone involved -you’re his prize possession and he refuses to have anything happen to you

When they are jealous

========Clive + jill==============

-sometimes they get jealous of each other -it’s rare but it happens -it’s a simple case of if you hang out with one person more than the other -spending time more with clive then jill or vice versa -but they trust each other and realized each other's needs so it’s super rare for them to get envious of one another -nether Jill or Clive strike me as the jealous type -it’s the same with other people -being jealous of others is something I don’t see for they trust you a lot -but if someone doesn't get the hint then they’ll take action -Jill would tell the guy off then come to you to make sure you’re ok -clive would do the opposite

=======Joshua + jote=============

-Also would be jealous of each other -unlike clive and jill this would be a tad bit more often -Joshua’s jealousy comes from his own illness and how it can handicap him -sometime you and Jote spent time more outside when he has coughing fits or needs to rest -to him it feels like the world is just spinning around while he’s just staying still -Jote’s jealousy comes from status and how limited she can provide for yall -she’s not a eikon nor someone of really high status(from what I’ve seen/heard) so she sometimes she feels like she isn't doing enough -this small insecurity ties into her jealousy -like clive and jill they wouldn't be so jealous of others

====Cid===============

-he’s one of those people you’d have to really try to get jealous -even if you tried he would know if you are trying to provoke or get a reaction from him -depending on how you do it. He would laugh at it -if someone were to hit on you for real i think he would handle it well -simply F off -he’s a loyalty man and trust you too much to think you would cheat on him -not to say he can’t get ticked off -like if someone doesn't get the hint he would take action.

====Benedikta============

-like when is she not jealous -she’s a jealous as some reality TV wife in LA -if anyone even talks to you being a tad bit flirtatious or even touches you in places -little things ruffles her feathers -you are hers and hers alone and she doesn't share -at -all -not saying your not allowed to have friends but she just thinks that they might influence you to leave her -most of her jealousy stems from insecurities and past unsolved issues dealing with previous relations -to her you’re something that’s real and doesn't want to risk anything happening to the relationship both of you have with each other

======Dion + terence==============

-less envious of each other and more envious of you -lets say you’re just a normal citizen -your freedom makes them envious for they can’t get that as often as you -Dion is a prince and Terence is his attendant/Second in command of the dragoons -so schedules are pretty packed as is. -no they don’t hold this against you by any means -other then that jealousy is not something that is common other than jokes -although if someone were to flirt with you -Dion has a higher chance to get jealous first then Terence -Dion would be more vocal telling the flirt off while attending to you with terence to make sure you were comfortable.

=====Barnabas + Sleipnir============

-not to make them too yandere but… -they’d probably eliminate any potential rival or external influence -it don’t matter if they just cut the person out of your life or just kill them -barnabas's jealousy is borderline possession and gets offended if anyone thinks they can talk to you so casually -”you don’t need to be around these low lifes” -Sleipnir is no help at all to the perpetrator even if it is his job to keep you away from others -probably kills the people himself just for looking at you seductively -”keep your lustful gaze elsewhere.” :)

====Hugo============

-like Benedikta but with more tolerance -he would “eliminate” potential rivals by making them broke or threats -he has so much confidence and pride he feels like there’s no way you would leave him for anyone else -he has so much power and other assets why could anyone else compare -he laughs as attempts to win your heart then punish the assailant later -not to say he’s not the jealous type for he certainly is -it’s just that hugo is more level headed then Benedikta

========Clive + Jill==============

-borderline protective -both acknowledge that this isn’t healthy to think such things -trapping you -keeping you in the hideaway -do anything to keep you safe -so both are mutually confused how to handle thoughts like this -Clive would be the first to suggest to go against the dark thoughts no mater how much it hurts the both of them -There will be behavioral changes between the both of them -Jill would be more affectionate as would always have a hand on you -Clive would be more protective borderline territorial -only allowing those both Clive and Jill trust around you -depending on the situation and who it is they would kill for you -Jill more likely than Clive -There definitely a good yandere pair to have

=======Joshua + jote=============

-protective af -one of them are around you at all times -Joshua is more tender around you -almost as if you’re made of glass -Joshua would have a love sick look about him when he’s around you -Joshua dose try to convince you to spend more time indoors in the safety of the home -Jote is more warm around you -she’s open with her emotions and would encourage you to do the same. -Jote wants you to rely on her like how joshua relied on her -she’s also very protective in public -they wouldn’t make you uncomfortable and understand your privacy so they won’t smother you -they would kill for you. ====Hugo============

-….Simp -and HIGHLY delusional -you can do whatever you want and he wouldn't bat an eye -unless you go off showing romantic feelings to another person -but the person would be punish by death and would be blind to your infidelity so… ya -he’ll be all over you and shower you with affection and Gifts -he’s so fixed up in his delusions it noticeable to anyone around him which is concerning sense he is Titan after all -your boundless freedom has a catch like all things do -all he ask is for you to love him and be there when he needs you -don’t be like Benedikta and sleep with someone behind his back or these privileges would be gone and you’ll get the other side of this man -controlling,dominating, and rough -if he didn’t consider your feelings at all you would be locked up in a golden bird cage and only meant for his eyes only

What happens when your hurt

========Clive + jill==============

-depending on how bad or what happen -if you hurt yourself like you scrap your ankle because you’re not paying attention -jill will scold you a little while clive is carrying you to the infirmary to get it quickly patched up -if someone else hurt you(like you just came from a battle) -they would be even more concern and probably ban you for leaving by yourself for a while -if the perpetrator is still out there and yall happen to come across them,expect some side eyeing -not at you but at the person that harmed you -now if they mortality wounded you(like near death) -clive would definitely have some words but his blade will do the talking -there’s a good chance that the enemy who hurt you would live if put up against clive -not so much with jill -surprisingly,or not, jill would suggest to kill them or put them in a near death position like they did for you

=======Joshua + jote=============

-It’s unlikely you would get hurt for Jote and joshua would do there best to prevent you from using your blade -but if push dose come to shove and you do get hurt by someone, I don’t think they’ll seek revenge -they care most about you being alive and mostly unscaved -joshua would heal all of your injuries and make sure you don’t have any more -jote would scold you for taking the fight on your own and express GREAT concern for your well being -no they wouldn't punish the enemy themselves but, they’ll do their best to black mail the person and humiliate them -jote knows her way around the archives and joshua is fantastic connections -there social life could be CRUSHED if they really tried

====Cid===============

-acts calm on the inside, probably fuming on the outside -although it doesn't take all of his mental strength to not find the guy and choke this person for hurting you -but he needs to make sure you’re alright -similar to Jote and joshua, he’s also more focus on your own well being then the enemy -he needs to know where you’re hurting and figure out if he has the connections,tools, or resources to help you -I don’t see him as the man to hold a grudge but he would be more weary of you leaving by yourself tho

====Benedikta============

-If you hurt yourself then she probably wouldn't care too much -if someone injured you then good chances there dead or being hunted by this women -she will not let this crime go unpunished -those who have harmed you WILL suffer the consequences -she may not hunt them to the ends of the earth but if you just happen to point them out on the streets one day, they’ll be gone the next

======Dion + terence==============

-Terence would be the one who treats your wounds 99.9% of the time -he had to take care of Dion so he’s most reliably in terms of taking care if injuries -Dion would check up on you making sure you’re ok and Terence is helping you as he should -now let's say you get hurt by someone else -Dion is fuming -he’s asking questions on who hurt you, where were you, How did this happen and Who in the world did this to you -Terence is acts calm on the inside, probably fuming on the outside pt2 -unlike dion ,who kinda just explodes, Terence will be asking if you are ok and treat your injuries -dion would order some dragoons to find the perpetrator as if they’re capable of hurting you at random who knows what would happen to someone else. -once found, this person will be trial and punished accordingly -I would say after this incident you would have more protection in place so this wouldn't happen again

=====Barnabas + Sleipnir============

-dead -who ever hurt you is gone -there family is 100% also gone -it don’t matter if it’s emotional or physical damage barnabas takes any harm to you seriously -so who ever put you in harms way no longer exist in this world -oh and you will know what happened -after the deed is done Sleipnir would tell you the news about this person being dead while barnabas gives you all the details -”trust and believe, my raven none shall harm your feathers”

====Hugo============

-also dead and most likely buried -unlike barnabas, he wouldn't show you the person’s dead corpse unless you want to -i also think he would do it in secret -he just want you to be happy and not see the more cruel side of him -your his precious gem and he doesn't want you to crack any time soon over trivial matters -he would only warn the family of the person who harmed you by presenting the dead person in front of the family

kissing barnabas is like the waging of a battle. the beginning comes as the aftermath of careful planning, the cunning wit of a man all too familiar with the realities that can come from the crusades he commits to feel your lips on his. his lips are warm, dry but not chapped, at first a press of skin to skin- lips to lips, testing the waters. his hands follow his lips pressing to yours, calloused thumbs pressing and dragging over the apples of your cheeks and over your jaw. he spends his time breathing you in like the brine of the ocean air- present, yet alert to you. always you.

when joshua indulges himself in kissing you, he is always mindful, always aware, always present. his lips somehow always taste like berries, perhaps it is because of his hunger for the sweet fruit- or maybe perhaps it is because of the salve he once bought on his travels when they began to chap terribly one winter.. perhaps it is simply a combination of both. kissing him is a reprieve, a slow lull like the setting of the sun on the horizon, plush of his lips to yours and tongue tracing the seam of your mouth tentatively, as always, he tastes like berries.

benedikta’s kisses are always just a bit different from their predecessors. some are teasing and so fleeting they are simply brushes of her mouth- to yours, to your cheeks, to the tip of your nose, to your jaw; anywhere she can reach in the moment. other times the press of her mouth is incessant, coated in sticky product and leaving smears around your mouth- the direction of her tongue dragging over your bottom lip, the way she prefers to direct such a like a puppeteer would. sometimes, in quieter moments, her kisses are slow- languid, not fleeting nor incessant, lips warm and hands seeking only to cradle your face close as hearts beat together in seperate ribcages.

when he so deigns to, hugo kisses you like he is a man starved for air- like your lips against his is a sensation he cannot live without, that your lips are a need and not a want. he needs your pretty lips, puckered and puffed out as his hand squishes at your cheeks and he tips his head back in laughter, other hand resting on your waist where he has you splayed out over his lap. his kisses are like he is starved, like you are his oasis, plentiful in the bounty that is his to claim and the happiness it grants him upon stealing a kiss from your mouth.

Hi, my friends and mutuals! Decided to write a sad angst fanfic and hope everyone like this! I don't ship Clive and Jill. I see them as just friends or a siblings figure. I'm sorry! Have a nice morning/day/night! ✨️

You feel numb, not wanting to see Clive nor the group anymore. You made a HUGE mistake on telling your romantic feelings to Clive.... You should've known that he wouldn't feel the same....

'I thought....I could tell him.......'

'........'

'He looked surprised....did I made him uncomfortable....?'

'He didn't say anything to me and just walked away......'

'He hates me now.....no......'

You sighs to yourself, tears were forming in your eyes. You wiped your tears with your delicate finger, not letting your friends know that you are being emotional right now. You are with your friends, sitting down from the ground. Waiting for Clive and Cidolfus to start with the fire as it was getting very dark and late. A campfire sound wonderful to you and everyone, however, you don't want to see Clive. You whispered to Jill that you'll be back and just need some alone time. There was a worried frown on her face, asking you if you are alright.

You smiled weakly and nodded at Jill, got up from the ground and started walking away. Ignoring Clive's voice as he calls for your name. The group can't see you with the huge trees getting in the way. Clive didn’t know what to do and looked confused until Cidolfus sighs angrily and starts talking to him.

"Clive! When are you going to stop being a coward and tell her that you love her?!", Cid spoked in annoyance as he shaked his head in disapproval. Jill nodded as she places her hands on her hips, disappointrd at Clive.

"WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR, CLIVE?! GO AFTER HER AND SAY SORRY OR DO SOMETHING TO CHEER HER UP!", Jill screamed at him, surprising Clive with her loud voice and immediately called Torgal to join him. Running towards the forest as Torgal signaling Clive on where you are. Making sure that he doesn't get injured or anything.

"(Y/N)! Please be safe! I'm going to protect you! Forgive me..."

*Back to you*

'......he hasn't look at me for days.... or even talk to me....'

'I should stop loving him.....'

'......maybe he thinks of me....as a sister....or a friend.....'

You roamed through the forest, not realizing that you could get killed as you continued walking until you see a beautiful river.

"Ah... this is a perfect place to cry....haha...."

You dropped your knees to the ground, your hands on the dirt and tears falling down from your face as you screamed. Hating yourself for being so nice and forgiving Clive. You questioning yourself if you should stay with him and the group or not....

"....I just want him to love me...."

"I don't want to be alone...."

"What should I do?"

"Come with me and you wouldn't suffer again, (Y/N)", a voice that made your whole body shiver in fear as a dark blue armor hand appears in front of your face. Looking up as you gasped, you moved away from that mysterious person and called their name.

"King Barnabas?! What are you doing here?!"

"He's here because we want you to join us, sweetheart~", you recognized that voice..... you glared at Benedikta, using your magic to summon your weapon. Your body is no longer in the ground, ready to attack Barnabas and Benedikta. She sighed as she tries to explain on why they want you. Of course, you are stubborn to listen and clashed your weapon to Beneditka. Not giving a shit on what she is saying to you, even if she has good intentions. Praying to Eikons for Clive and the group to save you.....

'I need to SURVIVE! I AM NOT DYING TONIGHT!', you thought to yourself, still fighting with Benedikta. She is getting annoyed as she was about to use her Garuda abilities until your weapon is clashing with Barnabas' sword. However, he is much stronger than you, sending you to the ground. He looked at Benedikta and ordering her to use Garuda's claws to trap you. You screamed in agony as you felt one of the claws squeezing your body tightly, trying to escape as you looked up in the sky.

"LET ME GO!"

"I'M GOING TO KI-", you didn't finished your sentence as Barnabas grabbed your face, forcing you to look at him. Both you and Barnabas glared at each other, then he chuckled as he starts talking to you.

"I want you to be my wife, (Y/N)."

"NO! I WIIL NOT BE YOUR WIFE, BARNABAS!"

"If you don't, then your friends will die. You won't forgive yourself, seeing your dead friend dying in front of you. Am I wrong, (Y/N)?"

"..........", Your eyes widened in despair, imagining Barnabas slashing Clive and the group because of you....

"Marrying me...why....?"

"You're the most beautiful maiden and I have never seen any women like you. Yes, I know you don't believe me and I'll make you fall in love with me."

"I don't care if it will takes years for you to love me. You will be MINE!", Barnabas' voice was too much for you, wanting to puke and be gone.... You didn't say a word to Barnabas, annoyed at his flirting as you wait for Clive and the group to stop them. If it is only Clive, then you have no choice to marry King Barnabas.....

"Your love confession to Clive was so sweet. It is a shame that he doesn't feel the same."

"....how....? Were you there?!"

"Yes. How could he just walked away and didn't say anything to you? Do you honestly think that he will see you a friend after your sweet confession?"

"LET ME TELL YOU WHY? IT'S BECAUSE HE WANTS TO FIND 'THE DOMINANT' THAT HE IS SO OBSESSED TO KILL AND ONLY CARES ABOUT HIS DEAD LITTLE BROTHER!", you closed your eyes as you felt your heart drop, shaking your head rapidly and telling yourself that it is not true.

"Is it hilarious that he feels more comfortable with Jill Warrick? Clive Rosfield, able to use the Eikon Ifrit and Jill Warrick, Dominant of the Eikon Shiva? Fire and Ice? A perfect match. Who knows? They could be kissing at this moment. Perhaps, Clive doesn't want to tell you that he is in love with Jill and is relief that you're not with them.", Barnabas looked back towards Benedikta, signaling her to remove her Garuda's claws from you. You slowly dropped down to the ground, feeling yourself numb again....

"STOP! LIES! Jill.....will never...."

"Oh! You told Jill your feelings for Clive before he started ignoring you for days?! I feel terrible for you. Let me save you, (Y/N).", your empty eyes looked at him as you opened your mouth to say anything, however, you didn't expect to see Clive.... standing in front of you. Shielding you from Barnabas and Benedikta, Torgal leans his adorable head towards yours, rubbing gently as he sees any injuries. Clive looked at you for a few seconds, his voice interrupts your negative thoughts as he asks if you can still fight.

'.......Of course...... Clive wouldn't care about me.....'

'......Maybe King Barnabas is right.......Him and Jill are perfect for each other......'

You shakily use your hand, summoning a healing potion and drinking it as your whole body is no longer weak. Standing up, you didn't bother to look at Clive's confused face. Walking towards Barnabas as you stopped in front of him, you sighed and nodded.

"Yes, I.....will be your wife....Barnabas Tharmr...."

"Excellent. Your precious friends will not die tonight, my sweet (Y/N).", Barnabas smirks, enjoying the rage in Clive's blue eyes. Picking your hand as you felt Barnabas' lips kisses your forehand, pulling you closer to him. You felt disgusting, but you want to save Clive....and everyone.....even if Clive doesn't love you....at least he will be safe and he can focus on his revenge journey....

"We are leaving, Benedikta. Clive Rosfield, she will be safe with me. Don't worry about her and just focus on yourself."

"DIE, BARNABAS!", Clive yelled as he dashed to you and Barnabas, extending his hand. Attempting to get you away from Barnabas and escaping together.

"I would not be a bothersome to you.....Goodbye, my 'friend'....", you smiled weakly at Clive, crying in front of him as you looked at for a second before turning your head. You looked down as you saw black shadows appearing in front of your eyes, it is most likely Barnabas' powers.

"WAIT! (Y/N), I'M SORRY! FORGIVE M-", Clive desperately cries for your name. He has to tell you why he ignored you.....accepting that he IS a coward and wants forgiveness.

Suddenly, you are gone....Clive wasn't able to save you.....not even Torgal could've done anything to prevent this horrible situation......

"FUCK! I'M GOING TO SAVE YOU, MY LOVE! I PROMISE, (Y/N)!", Clive screamed to himself, vowing to find you and convince you to come back to him.....

"Let's go, Torgal....We need to tell Cid and Jill about what happened.....", a tear slipping down from his face as he tries to control his emotions. Walking away from the river and entering the forest. Preparing himself to get lecture by Cidolfus. Clive doesn't care if they hate him or not. He wants you to be safe in his arms, telling you that he loves you so very much. He'll give you anything you want. Clive just want to see your smile again.... seeing your happy face as you teases him. He loves your flirting and literally everything about you. For kingdom hearts, it can be self insert or between characters! Only wholesome and platonic headcanons. It can be related to shipping characters! I need to go back watching kingdom hearts since I watched it when I was in middle school! Still will do my best to write the characters since I love them! <333

Note: The reader being depressed and all, thinking she's a bad person just because she has done terrible things in her life(⌣̩̩́_⌣̩̩̀)

‘You’re a fucking monster!’

‘Why are you still alive?!’

‘YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!’

‘YOU KILL US ALL!’

Every day and night, you hear the raging voices of the people in your hollowed mind. Angered and terrified by you. The part where you were forced to kill their loved ones. Men, women. Even children. Bringing terror to every village and town. That was when you were brainwashed and working with Lord Barnabas and Benedikta Harman. They forced you to kill people, the innocents. Picking the targets for you to track down.

This one time, you were given the task to annihilate the outlaws and the dominant of Phoenix. Clive, Jill and Joshua. The people who were your friends back in Rosaria. When they first encountered you, they couldn’t believe their own eyes. Clive believed you to be dead. Jill thought so too.

Joshua, however, knew you would be alive somehow. They remembered you but you don’t remember them. Your mind was completely foggy and hollow, you couldn't remember anything since you weren’t utterly yourself at that time. Since The King of Waloed brainwashed you. Everything happened so fast…

The next day, you avoided everyone at the hideaway. Not making eye contact with them while doing something important. Including Clive, Jill and even Joshua.

Jill grew worried about your well-being and tried to speak to you. You pushed Jill away and told her to leave you alone. You did the exact same thing to Clive. You didn’t want to talk about what’s going on in your mind.

You stumbled into your room with your dark mind conquering you. Locking the door so nobody comes in. You slumped into your bed and sunk yourself down in a bottle of wine.

As you continue to drink every sip of wine, your mind wanders off elsewhere, falling into a pit of darkness. Screaming of terror made its way into that hole, causing you more suffering. All of these angry voices of people…

‘MY WIFE! MY CHILDREN! YOU KILLED THEM ALL!’

Their rage, their anger…dragging you all the way down to hell…

‘A MONSTER LIKE YOU DOESN’T DESERVE TO LIVE!’

‘You’re a murderer and murderers don’t deserve a second chance!’

“Stop, please, no fucking more…” you mumbled, you held your head down to the floor with hands placed on your forehead. You just couldn’t take it anymore.

‘YOU KILLED MY FUCKING FAMILY!’

‘YOU MONSTER!’

‘Please…PLEASE SPARE US!’

All these voices faded when someone came knocking on your door, “(Name)?” Joshua called out to you, he wishes to come in and speak to you, “(Name)? Are you in there?”

You growled in irritation, finishing off that darn bottle of wine and smashed it on the floor furiously, watching it shatter into pieces. “Just go away…”

“(Name), please, let me in…” you could tell by the sound of Joshua’s voice that he was gravely worried, “I want to talk to you..”

You slam your hands on your bed in anger and walk your way to open the door for Joshua. He stepped straight inside after you decided to let him in. Joshua spotted the broken pieces of a bottle of wine on the floor. He looked up to you in worry as you closed the door.

You sat back down on your bed, not looking Joshua in the eye. “(Name)...I couldn’t help but notice you giving everyone a cold shoulder. Even Clive and Jill.” Joshua continued on, expressing a sign of concern, “Everyone here is extremely worried about you, (Name).”

“Okay so?” you spoke in a cold tone which caused him to get more agitated. Joshua shakes his head disapprovingly, “How long are you going to keep acting like this? How long are you going to keep pushing everyone away?” Joshua stumbled over to sit with you, “...Including me..?”

He won’t give up until you tell him what’s making you feel this way. Joshua wishes for you to open up to him. But the very sad thing is; you really don’t like talking about what’s troubling you so much. To anyone.

“Joshua, I rather not talk about it…” you told him, still not looking him in the eye. “The more you keep those feelings inside, the more it gets worse.” Joshua places his hand onto your shoulder, he could tell that you were suffering and wishes to make it go away, “(Name), please look at me…”

And so you turned to face him directly, his eyes looking deeply into yours, “I know you have done terrible things in the past. I know that wasn’t you. It was Barnabas, he brainwashed you and used you. Forcing you to kill innocent people.” Joshua consoled you, trying to tell you that it wasn’t completely your fault.

“...I will never forget what I did.” You were slowly opening up to Joshua, even though you didn’t want to at first but you wanted to pour your emotions out “I’ve killed a thousand innocents. I remember them screaming and crying, begging for mercy. Even the children. When they look me in the eye, all they fucking see…is an killer, a monster…”

Your words fell hard on Joshua, he couldn’t imagine what it was like for you when you were being controlled by King Barnabas, “I can’t make it all go away. The past still haunts me. It will always haunt me. Stuck in a fucking loop with no way out.”

“(Name)...” Joshua held your hand into his as he continued to listen to you talking about the terrible things you did in the past.

“I also remembered seeing blood on the wall after slaughtering them…” you recalled the moment where you just looked at the dead bodies and walked away after you completed your mission.

“I have nightmares every single night, I hear voices every single day. The voices of the people whom I terrify the life out of them. I even hear the cries of the dead family. I can still hear them. Everytime I go out, people look at me and back away in terror. They remembered my face and threw stones at me.” you carried on opening up more to Joshua, tears visibly appearing on your face. “I walked out of there and found a quiet spot to cry silently.”

Joshua gestured his arm behind your back and held you close, you leaned your head onto his shoulder and wept, “Do I deserve to live? Do I deserve a fucking second chance?” you questioned in sorrow, you felt your heart falling apart.

“You believe you’re a terrible person, just because you’ve done horrible things. I don’t see that in you at all. Just because you’ve done something truly wrong, doesn’t make you a bad person.” Joshua held his hand up and wiped your tears away using his thumb, “Just remember, (Name), you are not alone. For I am here for you always.”

“...thank you, Joshua…” you said it so quietly but Joshua was able to hear it loud and clear. Joshua moved your hand to his lips and kissed the knuckles of it, “Despite those terrible doings of your past, I never stopped loving you.” You smiled sweetly at his words and kissed the corners of his lips, “I’m glad that… you’re here with me.”

Joshua motioned his head close to kiss you, “I will never leave you, (Name). Never.”

(A/n) - Still blaming @aria-lesage for getting me so much into angsty fanfics. I shall continue to write more ANGSTY ffxvi fanfics in future.
