"Dr. Cerayn," came an echoing chorus of voices, nearly making the troll in question punch a hole through their owner. The small room in the South-Del cathedral was the last place she thought Sunseeker would appear in person.

"Call first," she growled, buttoning the last few buttons on her romper. The troll shaped thing that appeared in the corner of her room laughed his terrible high choral laugh.

"How am I to call when you so often have company warming your bed?" he tutted, "I need you in person. Urgently."

This sort of anxious barking of orders was uncommon for the unshakable Sunseeker. Spiral quirked an eyebrow, looming over the smaller thing. The taller of his corkscrew horns barely reached her collar.

"What is so urgent that you disturb me with no warning, my lord?" she asked, watching the yellow sparks in his eyes flicker. His hair swirled around his shoulders like tentacles, coiling around his arms as he steepled his fingers.

"Thasha has found my corpse. You're going to bind me back to him."

Spiral weighed his tone to the expression in his dead flaming eyes. No treacherous grin curling up his malleable cheeks, no hint of test. Spiral shifted. She stood up a little straighter.

"I am surprised he is recognizably you, Jeltik."

Sunseeker let out a low hiss. He stepped to her side, digging his claws into her gloved forearm.

"My body is better than decay, Cerayn," he said arrogantly. "Hold your stomach, I know how terribly this treats you."

Before she could prepare or protest, the world flashed purple, then black, then purple. The pleasantly warm air of the cathedral attic was suddenly replaced by frigid frosty wind. Spiral shivered, choking down a dry heave as Sunseeker released her.

"Are we in the Breath?" she asked through coughs, trying to reorient herself. It wasn't quite snowing, but it was shockingly cold. Forest to what Spiral could tell was the north, shallow hills on either side of that. The ground was covered in a dust of white, but dark ground still dominated the landscape.

"Almost," called the half dressed olive Spiral hadn't registered yet. "Caught this thing gnawing on some poor redblood across the way there."

Beliza gestured to a sitting living corpse, bound by the hands and muzzled. It was clearly ancient, however most of its meat clung to its bones under sun bleached skin. Most of its hair had fallen out and its face was more a skull than anything, but its horns were nearly pristine, if not pale. They stretched up in a high V, curling at the very tips in a shape not unlike Spiral's own.

“Impressive,” Spiral said, approaching the thing. She greeted Beliza by placing a hand on her lower back.

“Isn't he gorgeous?” Sunseeker cooed, traipsing to the mindless thing's side. It was soaked in blood and caked in dried and frozen gore, the freshest of it a deep maroon. Sunseeker caressed under its chin with his claws, prompting it to gnash its teeth under the muzzle.

“Oh I wish he still had his lips so I could give him a kiss before we're one again,” he sighed. Both of his assistants grimaced at the thought of Jeltik sharing necrotic spit with his own corpse. By the way he cooed at it neither woman was certain he wouldn't. Regardless of lack lips.

“You never did explain the process to me, Jeltik,” Spiral said, interrupting his examination of the thing's remaining hair. He pursed his lips, then dug his claws into the corpse's bleached flesh. It howled and hissed and thrashed, but even from the short distance they kept the two women could see gashes and chunks filling and knitting themselves together with reawakened purple flesh.

“You're going to have to kill me, or close to it. I'll take it from there,” Sunseeker said casually, the shrieks at the edges of his symphony of voices more prominent now. “No particular way, just destroy this form. I'd say watch the face but I'm not particularly attached to it.”

Sunseeker’s gravity defying hair faltered. The canvas of a handsome troll stretched itself over the corpse's face, rebuilding sunken socket and loosening sun leathered skin. Under the muzzle a prominent nose- once again not unlike Spiral's own- formed itself, snapping the band holding its teeth back all the way off.

“Fucking hell,” Beliza swore, unbothered by her own volume echoing through the air around them. Spiral absorbed every disgusting second interestedly, noting the noise skin makes when it reconstitutes for the next bounty she would torture.

“Lips at last my darling!” Jeltik said giddily when his face was finished. A lovely handsome heart with a dimpled chin, still gnashing and drooling teeth, eyes whiter than the snow blowing from the higher north of Halosa's Breath. He looked pristine, aside from the insides of other trolls he wore on the outside. That and the bald patches. Spiral chose not to look too hard at his face when she approached the two. Jeltik's hair had fallen limp, or close to it behind him. His claws still dug into the struggling body's shoulders. He seemed to almost be struggling to keep it still. Spiral held her hands on either side of Jeltik's head, pulling at the power he'd given her ages ago. So much trust he had in him. In her devastating curiosity about the processes he'd put her and so many others through. She could have destroyed him so long ago, were she not so loyal. Her hands glowed a soft white. At the edges of her vision she could almost see Anna again.

He grinned his Cheshire grin at Spiral, then flicked his eyes over her shoulder.

“Do look away Liz, I know how sensitive you-”

With another, more aggressive swear from Beliza, and a- to Spiral- familiar crunch between her hands, the mostly decapitated purple body fell onto the corpse unceremoniously.

“Eugh,” was all Spiral could muster as she shook the gray matter off her hands. The glow was gone in an instant, but Spiral could feel a nose bleed threatening her between her eyes.

“You can just fucking do that?” called Beliza, the air around her practically boiling at her distress. She paced and circled and ran her fingers through her swirling hair. “With your hands?! What the fuck!”

“Would you like to suck the blood off my fingers before he’s back, Liza?” Spiral teased, stepping away from the struggling daywalker. “I believe we have a few minutes.”

“You are not flirting with me right now,” Beliza punctuated her frustration with a hard, hot punch to Spiral's arm.

“I offer only out of politeness, madam.” Spiral bowed deep enough for Beliza to roll her eyes. “I am well aware of your tastes.”

Spiral's estimation of a few minutes was proven to be a few minutes too generous. A loud popping noise sounded through the shallow valley. Then another, and another as joints popped into their proper places. Simultaneously, the corpse Spiral made seemed to fizzle into black ooze that the new… old? body soaked up like a sponge. All that was left of what Suneeker was were the old bones he'd reconstituted on so many sweeps ago. The skull of which was now in pieces. The body panted and heaved with its new lungs, ripping through the bonds Liz had put on it with ease. Black, silky hair rapidly grew out from those decayed patches. Blacker claws sprouted from its fingers. Its pale eyes rolled back into its head and came back a violent, broken swirling orange and red. Its neck cracked painfully and loudly in places that would have stopped a normal creature's thrashing all together. Steam began to rise from the places its skin touched the ground. The shreds of clothes it had quickly burnt to nothing, and with it all the troll chunks.

The body heaved forward, digging its newly formed claws onto the dirt. It hacked up what could only be politely described as ‘what would be inside a several thousand sweep old zombie.’ It stretched, extending its long spine fully, sitting back on its knees. Unnatural tar black began to stain its limbs, stopping just above the knees. It continued all the way up its arms and collar, bleeding up its throat just under the chin.

When he stood fully, pale, naked, and terrible against the dark, his face contorted into the cheek breaking smile Spiral was accustomed to.

“Oh it's good to be back,” he said, chorus of voices centering something more baritone than soprano now. He carefully rolled his neck as he approached his favorite creations. Half of the floating hair he'd forced out of his body's head coiled around his body, reconstructing the same clothes he'd had before. He was broader in the shoulders. Thinner at the waist. He was shaped rather elegantly, with long dancer’s limbs, but he was still egregiously underfed.

“I think I liked the old one better,” Beliza said, eying Jeltik's new form with some fear-masking disdain. He laughed, pinching her chin.

“Oh I'm sure we can get you used to this one, my dear.” He looked to Spiral, eyes the same but unnerving in new sockets. He stood taller than before, but still not as tall as her. He put his hands on his hips and looked her over with a hum.

“I want to do something fun before we get back to work, Dr. Cerayn,” he said as if the echo of her face on his was something they'd never address. “12th perigee's perhaps? I haven't been to a ball in my own skin in absolutely ages.”

hi! so i've recently finished the 100 very late i know and ahh! i've gotten to love bob and eliza as well after watching interviews of them im so happy theyre married they look so in love (i say this like i didnt spend the last 3 weeks of my life obsessing over them LMAO) and i was rly surprised to see that they kept denying hating the romantic bellarke agenda? especially in the earlier seasons, but it was SO obvious, to me at least, that they were the main ship of the show... i scoured the internet for reasons why but all i could get was that the fandom hates jroth and the fandom would like to bury jroth alive SDJHFDSHJ but yeah! still rly curious and ik you were actively in the fandom during the time so if you could just briefly explain i would be vvvvv grateful

Okay... I'm gonna try and give a bit of a run down of the history of beliza and bellarke and jroth and clexa and how that all influenced things. Keep in mind I wasn't in the fandom from the start so the beginning is second hand recounts.

Okay so from the start bellarke was obviously intended, they were canon in the books but clearly with the Finn thing and everything else they were going for a more slow burn kinda vibe which was good obviously. Now this is where the bellarke denial started, but it was more casual there. Like a playfull not trying to give away the slow burn or surprise (this is very typical for slow burn ships and that's why I love the Pates for how they are handling jiara). So all was well in the house.

At this point Bob and Eliza were really good friends so that wasn't a problem. At one point apparently Devon kinda let it slip that they were actually in a fwb kinda situation at some point during the early season. I never saw first hand proof of this but it was a known fact amongst the fandom and I find likely given where they ended up.

Now, I'm not 100% on the order of event here but the following happened over s2/s3. Two major things that changed the fate and reception of bellarke forever.

The first being clexa. Now, from a story telling pov clexa was never going to last and Lexa's fate was always sealed. But I'm not going to go too much into that whole thing. But obviously there was alot of hype around Lexa and that ship. Which Jason loved, that man is driven by ego and having thousands of people up his ass fuel him. So he shifted his focus to them, knowing full well he was going to kill Lexa. And then when the backlash hit he kept pandering to them - putting little Lexa mentions in to keep the viewer ship, to keep people talking about his show. And by result of this the bellarke denial came in strong and their romantic development or story like was put on hold.

Now meanwhile it seems beliza had a falling out, Bob started dating his long term gf Aryn and they would not attend cons together. Also time to double down on the bellarke denial. Only this time it was legit (not that bellarke wasn't happening or intended, but they didn't like it and didn't want it to happen) we got the infamous 'bellake shit' quote from Eliza, which she insisted she actually said 'ship', even tweeted it (has since then once happily married admitted that she said shit lol) And yeah while we were still getting the on screen hints it seemed no one was rooting for it personally.

Then. The tide turns. Bob and Aryn has broken up. And we hear an announcement. Bob and Eliza are going to a con together?? Wait. what? And this con. Let me tell you. Changed the world. They were best friends again. Now, I am not an irl people shipper, there have been very few that I have seen and speculated before they were together and these two were one. I can't remember exactly why but there was something in the air before that and I was sus. And then there were a few things, like Eliza was saying how her favourite song was Ophelia and then she turns to Bob and says 'you must be so sick of hearing it i play it so much' and I was hmm because are they spending that much time together? Bob was wearing a bunch of mardigras necklaces and when Eliza said she wanted one and a fan overheard bob saying to her something 'you'll have to give me something later for one' and then after break Eliza had some ??? Which people freaked out about but not enough in my opinion. And then the fact that (actually this might have been a later con my timeline is messy its been a while) Eliza was wearing an engagement ring and straight up told people she was engaged when they asked. People assumed it was to the guy who play mccrery because there was rumours of them dating but they hadn't been seen together in ages.

And then most importantly they were now pro-bellarke. Talking excitedly about the scenes. Saying themselves are sometimes confused because the script will saying something like 'bellamy looks at her lovingly.' but then Jroth continues to deny things. they weren't to the level of it now but they were for sure making it clear that jroth was gaslighting a fandom lol.

Anyway moving on to one quite morning, I hadn't touch social media all morning as it did laundry and when I finally take a break the fandom is imploding - thankfully I had only missed it by like 15minutes. But Bob and Eliza has both tweeted that they had gotten married with a pic of their hands on their wedding day. Now I instantly believed it - oh yeah it's all coming together. But there was all this shock because it seemingly came out of no where. People thought they had been hacked, and then other cast would congratulate them and then they were hacked. Certain people were saying its a cover because Eliza and Alycia actually got married, and other were saying Bob and Eliza were homophobic for getting married during pride month. But at the end of the day it was all true, there were married and it was happily ever after.

But for some reason this seemed to piss off JRoth and he seemed to get so much worse. At one point during the filming of season 7 i think (i get confused about later seasons it could have been 6 or 8) Bob and Jason unfollowed each other and we though it was hilarious until we realised what it could have meant. Recently beliza revealed that the bellarke get together was actually written, in a place that so many people has speculated and it would have made sense but at the last minute it was taken out.

It seemed like Jason didn't like the beliza was together, he was having more and more issues with Bob and Jason just didn't do bellarke out of spite. Did that stupid murder out of spite and gave a pandering ending for clexas out of spite.

Once the show was over beliza have been very open about how bellarke was always planned from the beginning and they don't understand why it never happened.

Any way I've been out of it for a while so I'm a bit foggy on the detail these days but that's the guts of it. Anyone is free to add

What is beliza era?

Bob and Eliza (Beliza) are two actors who were the leads (Bellamy and Clarke, respectively) of this CW show called The 100. Their characters were love interests in the book and they were told to play their characters as love interests on the show too, but they both had significant others during filming. Well. A couple months before the last season of The 100 aired, Bob and Eliza posted on socials and were like "SURPRISE WE GOT MARRIED" and the internet just fucking exploded because as far as any of us knew, Bob was in a relationship and maybe Eliza was too. But anyway it turns out that they dated/married in like five months and their wedding pictures (the few they shared) are some of the most beautiful pics I've ever seen. But now every time I think of them, I'm like "..…..ok big ryliver energy" because Bellamy/Clarke never went canon but the literal actors who played them got married and have a BABY now so we kinda stay winning anyway. But yeah that's that

i joked about this with a friend but it genuinely wouldn’t surprise me if arryn has made some alt accounts at least on twitter. especially with her own confirmation that she searches up her own name & was caught out harassing beliza fans before with really weird, petty accusations of bob stealing her glasses? weirdo.

what does it matter to you people if Bob and Eliza want to build a school in New Guinea? at least tehy're doing something!

For four years some of us helped support the school Eliza Taylor enthusiastically promoted. She placed herself in photo after photo with those kids. She told us how important this school was to her. She had co-workers join her in public support. She brought a lot of goodwill for the school and herself.

Following her marriage to Morley, things changed. She was less open in supporting the school. Morley never made a visible visit to it. Behind the scenes, Wyndham, the on-site partner, dealing with the day-to-day realities of the school and mountains of problems with the Thai government, still wanted to expand, even getting an American lawyer (Gina Fraterneli) to start Friends of Koh Tao Primary as a non-profit in the US.

In early 2020, as The 100′s run started to wind down, as rumors of Bob Morley’s erratic behavior on set started to spread, as Arryn Zech’s statement on their past relationship made media, as Covid hit the planet and devastated country after country, taking lives and closing businesses and tourism (a huge hit for Thailand), a huge change for KTP was on the horizon. Taylor had wanted FoKTP to have a name change to Little Hearts Learning. Soon, other people none of us know, would become involved.

A woman named Michele Gorman, a Christian Conservative who runs Refuge House, a small foster care charity in Texas, and no one anyone of us had ever heard of before, paid a visit to Thailand in March. Not long after, she was tweeting dubious psychoanalysis about Bob Morley’s ex, Arryn Zech, who accused him of abuse. How did she fit into the picture? How would the Morleys have met someone like her? Not long after, she’s suddenly an official part of LHL as their treasurer (in spite of her own charity, RH, showing a failing score on Charity Navigator and her taking around a quarter of the charity’s earnings for herself). Gina Fraterneli, after issuing caustic tweets critical of at least one new board member for LHL (presumably Gorman), quits.

And it all goes downhill from there.

For a long time fans expressed criticism about things like the infamous “bed selfie” which was supposed to be auctioned off for Jo Garfein’s Cancer Gets Lost Charity (and if you go far enough back, Garfein came under fire for continuing to support Jason Rothenberg, , seemingly abandoning the LGBTQ community in favor of sucking up to celebrities), but the auction was canceled; a year later it showed up, unannounced for another auction and went for thousands of dollars. A photograph. Went. For. Thousands (but that would look like nothing compared to Zoom calls with the Morleys that started last year, for hundreds if not thousands of dollars a pop, again, to supposedly support the school). Jokes that the bed selfie paid for the Morley’s wedding were crass (and likely not at all true), but also showed how easily a joke can become the rumor, can become the norm.

Fans also expressed criticism of the Morleys themselves, for the abuse and cheating allegations mostly, for Morley’s questionable (and frankly Scientologist-like) leanings against traditional mental health (the danger to young, impressionable fans cannot be understated), racist subtext in his tweets and his general hiding behind his new wife who was suddenly doing all the work of talking about and explaining their relationship (in glowing terms), in spite of long rumors of these two not getting along on the set. “Bellarke” fans evolved into “Beliza” stans taking their cultish devotion to Morley (and previous hatred of Eliza) and started weaponizing it in their defense. A head-scratching mess of seemingly disparate personalities.

In other words, a lot of shit was stirring around this couple and it wasn’t leading anywhere good.

By the summer of 2020, with Gina Fraterneli quitting, there was no one left working at Little Hearts Learning who was connected to Claire Wyndham and her school, save Eliza herself. What Claire would describe in a video a few days ago as American corporate charity types, had taken over LHL and the decision was made to cut ties with KTP. The charity LHL had initially been setup to support.

The 100 now ended, and Wyndham suffering huge health problems of her own, financial support for the school was in jeopardy. Fraterneli expressed concern that the money made from the Zoom calls wasn’t being passed on to the school. It looked like maybe the money was being withheld with increasing suggestion (though never a direct statement), that KTP or Claire (one and the same) had messed up accounting that made KTP a liability. Again, NOTHING specific was said, it was all implied via behavior. Tweets from people who were not associated with the school and would have no reason to know anything about its financial status, only its legal one: something not Wyndham’s fault, but more in the hands of the Thai government. FoKTP was setup to help solve those problems. The suggestion was that LHL was protecting itself from the very school it was supposed to help. But why?

I ask again: was Gorman’s visit to Thailand in March just a vacation for her and only a coincidence, or was she doing something else there? How did this person get involved in the first place? From small-time Texas to hanging with young Hollywood celebs is kind of a leap. She literally went from:

Interesting.

So, instead of using FoKTP/LHL to support KTP, instead of using her new board of American professional corporate charity types to help KTP with its problems with licensing and the Thai government, instead of working to save the school both she and Claire called “their lives,” Taylor’s name is removed from anything and everything to do with the school. Claire can’t even mention her by name without legal trouble from LHL’s board. Suddenly, Taylor can’t read, she doesn’t know them.

Why? Why stoop so low to allow your fans to spread rumors of wrong-doing instead of helping your friend and those kids, with what should have been new and stronger resources, right? I mean, take Gorman up there, the advocate and scholar and founder of charities, including one that supposedly supports foster kids, shouldn’t someone like her be all about protecting the kids, putting them first? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ If things were so bad in Thailand, if things can get that tough, what will happen if they get tough in, say, Papua New Guinea?

Why did Taylor say NOTHING to stop the spread of rumors, which have likely done a great deal of damage to the reputation of the school (and, thus, harm, to those children)? The twitter timelines of most of these folks from LHL express no involved interest in children’s issues. I mean, if you’re an advocate, wouldn’t you be out there tweeting up a storm about kids in cages at the border or the like? These people only seem interested in “children” as a concept to build a business charity around.

Now LHL is branding itself as a slick little operation that’s going to help bring power to...Papua New Guinea. A place, that, as far as we know, none of the LHL people, including the Morley’s, has a personal connection to. KTP was a personal project for Taylor, once. Setting up a program in PNG (did they ask?), now announced as “an education center”, looks like standard-issue Christian-American White Savior Feel Good Hero BS in the Third World.

It begs questions: what sort of curriculum will this “education center” have? An international one like KTP or will it be...Christian-based? Who will run this education center? Is this with cooperation from the PNG government or some other entity? How did they decide on PNG? What *is* LHL now? Are the Morley’s involved beyond being the celeb faces to promote it? Are they, like Gorman with her RH charity, receiving “compensation” from LHL? There is currently no financial information available, no Charity Navigator score. Nothing for the public to see.

It all drops to the biggest question: why should anyone trust them when they took over Claire Wyndham’s expansion idea, then took over FoKTP, thus abandoning KTP? You can’t paint yourself as Big Philanthropist Types Doing it for the Kids when your first attempt at it was thrown away like it never mattered. Those kids deserve better and the school really is struggling now, with only six children being sponsored and staff being laid off. There won’t be a proper school if they don’t get help.

LHL is currently surrounded by an increasingly Maga-like cult of celebrity toward the Morley’s, something LHL does nothing to dissuade; in fact, the way they run their charity looks a lot like the way we see cult develop: there is an Inner Circle and focus on Positivity (tm), ignoring any and all legit criticism, allowing their followers to “protect” them from outsiders, painting themselves into a corner that is going to be hard to get out of. See, it isn’t just the Morley’s/LHL abandoning KTP that is awful, its the fact that they took so many others with them.

How fickle are these “fans” that they’d drop support without question? Without asking what was going on? “Clexa” fans, or those of us supporting from the beginning, got shit thrown at us for caring, for asking questions, for being critical of the changes. That is an essential difference between a cult and an independent group of thinkers. And right-wing cults are kind of outspoken, right now. There’s a lot going on, and if you’re not paying attention, you’re going to get abandoned, too.

LHL tagging Eliza in their messages about shutting down was unnecessary

I'm going to share my controversial opinion.

I think fandom babies Beliza too much.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with taking time off or putting your mental health first. It's brave and necessary. It's also completely fine to change your mind. Sometimes we just don't want to do things and that should be ok too. "No", and "I don't want to" is perfectly ok. Just as putting your mental health first is perfectly ok too.

Having said all that, I also think we need to take responsibility and be held accountable. I don't know what goes on behind the scenes nor do I care. I stopped interacting with LHL a while back because I wasn't comfortable with the people running things.

If Eliza wanted to move on, she should have informed LHL, they all should have made a plan on how to move forward and how to handle things as best as possible. If you've made a commitment, especially a public commitment, you do have a responsibility to end it in a matter that works for everyone involved.

What about the planned events? What about people's money? What about sponsors and donors? What about the projects in PNG? What about your sister NGO that are working in PNG? What about the children and their families and the communities the charity were helping?

All of these questions should have been dealt with, before the fandom drama on stan twitter. Completely unacceptable. This is people's lives. Fandom behaves like fandom always behaves and what is left in the real world, are the families and communities affected by this nonsense. It's all cool and popular when it gives you clout but what about what comes after?

The problem is not quitting or moving on. That's valid and completely fine. What isn't fine is the complete and utter bullshit that has been going on, on twitter. The tweets sent out by LHL were unprofessional and unacceptable. If Eliza informed LHL privately, then they should have handled this before making a statement. If Eliza didn't inform LHL beforehand, she should have done so. We are all allowed to move on from things but we still also have responsibilities to settle to the best of our abilities. I don't know how things were behind the scene nor do I care. This shouldn't be the situation right now and all fandom is doing is fighting about who did what and what antis are saying and no one seems to give a damn about the real life implications on people's lives.

If Eliza did her part, then LHL is out of line. If Eliza didn't do her part, then she should have. Regardless, this entire situation is ridiculous and I feel for the people actually affected by all this.

The Truth

A thread of Beliza’s innocence.

To start out the Pilot for The 100 was filmed in July of 2013 and Season 1 started filming in August of 2013. This would’ve been when Bob and Eliza first became friends. It IS possible they had a brief fling during this time, however there’s nothing to confirm or deny that.

It’s believed that Bob started dating a girl named Jane Gosden sometime in 2014 and they broke up sometime in 2015. I had trouble finding information about Jane originally and the only source I had found online said they dated 2014-2015 however, that is incorrect. They were together for a few years and broke up some time after May 2014. Jane actually still has quite a few photos on her Instagram of her and Bob together and her with his family. She still interacts with Bob’s sister on a frequent basis as well. I’m still not 100% sure when they started dated but, they were at least together from 2012-2014.

Bob and Arryn met in April 2015 at Supanova in Australia. We know this by photos of them at the con together. Below you can see Bob in the green hat in the back next to Arryn. Barbara is also in the center there in light blue. There are a few other photos of Arryn, Barb, and Bob hanging out during Supanova.

Arryn and Miles Luna were dating from 2010 until some time in mid 2015 (either May, June, or July). They wrote blog posts confirming their break up in August 2015 and stated they’d been broken up for a little while but didn’t want to announce it until after RTX. In Arryn’s post detailing their break up it is important to note she cited Australia as a reason for their break up.

Everyone wants to attack Bob and Eliza for “moving on quickly” from their exes, specifically Bob from Arryn but, Arryn literally left Miles for Bob. Did they cheat? I don’t know. No one does. But she clearly fell for Bob during Supanova and decided to leave her family/friends/boyfriend behind and pursue Bob and a life in LA. Now it is important to note that she said she wasn’t moving until the END of September 2015. At that point in time she was ALREADY traveling quite frequently out to Vancouver. Vancouver is where The 100 filmed. Some of the cast had photos with her during this time, she was being tagged in posts with them and Bob, her and Bob were talking often on Twitter, and in some of her photos that were more “cryptic” (ie. photos of her at a coffee shop with her and someone else’s shoes) she mentioned something about “Aussies knowing how to do it right.” Bob is Australian.

So sometime in July 2015 she started traveling often to Vancouver. August 2015 she officially announces her split from Miles but stated they’d been broken up for a bit but didn’t want to tell anyone until after RTX and that she’d be moving to LA to “pursue her dreams” by the end of September 2015. This pretty much confirms that the Anon Twitter account TruevFalse was correct in stating that Arryn still lived with her ex Miles for a brief time when her and Bob started dating. We don’t have the EXACT date/time of them officially starting to date but they were clearly talking seriously July-Aug 2015 if she was flying out that often to Vancouver where he was filming. At some other point she later specifically stated that she moved to LA for Bob. I’m not sure if this was in stream or where she stated this but, I’ve seen multiple people cite that she said that. Confirming she broke up with Miles for Bob. That alone should stop people from automatically attacking Bob and Eliza for getting together quickly. Was it quick? Yes. Even IF that had been cheating like Arryn claims - they wouldn’t have been in a relationship. Having an affair isn’t a real relationship and getting married a few months after officially dating is still fairly fast - cheating or not - but, that’s not for anyone else to comment on. Plenty of people have done something similar - hell some people get married weeks after meeting someone. When you know, you know. But if you’re going to attack them automatically for moving quickly, “Eliza stealing Bob”, or Bob leaving Arryn for Eliza - then you should be equally upset with Arryn for doing the same thing previously to be with Bob.

On to the abuse allegations. She states that Bob was controlling and isolated her from her family and friends and that she had no friends in LA. But that’s 100% HER doing. As I stated, she literally LEFT her boyfriend/friends/family/job to move out to LA where she knew no one to be with Bob. If you’re telling me he forced her to do all of that before they were even dating - you’re crazy. I do believe she left to pursue a better future in LA but, her main motive for moving was Bob. From there he then invited her into his group of friends (The 100 cast) and quite often she was out with certain members of the cast WITHOUT Bob present. Now I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a controlling/abusive relationship but, I have. Also doing any sort of research on the topic will come to a very similar conclusion: abusers/controlling partners do not want you to have ANY friends, they especially don’t want you hanging out with THEIR friends outside of them being with you, and if they don’t like someone they tell you not to be friends with them, associate with them, or hang around them. Arryn was with The 100 cast a ton, like I said, a lot of times she was with them without Bob around. She quite often did photoshoots when she was home in LA with a friend, and she was still constantly hanging out with Barbara. My reason for bringing Barbara up is a few. 1) Arryn claimed Bob specifically didn’t like Barbara and thought she was a bad friend. This *could* be true, who knows. But if we’re going by Arryn claiming Bob was controlling, then he would’ve told her not to be friends with Barbara. Period. Now yes, Arryn would’ve had to see Barbara on occasion for cons or while they were doing promotion work for RWBY but, he probably would’ve told her to limit her interaction with Barbara during those times and outside of that - not communicate with her. That is what an abuser/controller does. 2) My other reason for bringing Barbara into this is because of Barbara’s boyfriend Trevor Collins and his ex Emily. Emily has talked about the abuse she suffered from Trevor for years during their relationship. She was much younger than he was and when they started dating he was controlling/abusive. She specifically stated she was NOT allowed to be friends with his friends or talk to them unless he was around and that he cheated on her with a co-worker (Barbara) and that they manipulated her by calling her crazy while she had suspicions but they denied it. Now that sounds awfully familiar to Arryn’s story and it’s quite hypocritical for Arryn to know her best friend did this and then to hate Eliza for “doing the same thing”. Here are pieces of Emily’s statement/story. Did Arryn steal part of her story for her own? I can’t say for sure. It’s also important to note Trevor is part of RTX which Miles, Barbara, and Arryn were/are a part of and that the “friend group” Emily was referring to probably included Arryn but, I’m not 100% sure on that.

Another part of Arryn’s story was that Bob FORCED her to be friends with Eliza. So he can FORCE her to be friends with someone but can’t FORCE her to not be friends with Barbara even though she specifically mentions he didn’t like her? She said he forced her to be friends with Eliza even though he had told her he “hated” Eliza but, I’m not sure when he would’ve possibly hated her as Eliza and Bob have been friends since filming began. There’s never not been interaction/photos/hanging out of those two. They’ve always been adamant about being best friends/super close. And Arryn was often seen with Eliza, again, without Bob around. I could imagine Bob trying to force her to be friends/friendly with Eliza while he brought Eliza around but, it’s incredibly odd he’d somehow force Arryn to hang out with Eliza on her own.

On to the accusation of Bob being a biphobe and that he was not happy with her being bisexual. This one is just incredibly wrong for multiple reasons. Firstly, a few people defending Arryn have stated Bob has never shown any sort of support for Bisexuals or LGBTQ and that’s false. He’s actually been fairly vocal (to Bob’s standards anyways as he’s not very vocal on Social Media in general) about LGBTQ rights/support and has commented quite a few times about how proud he was to be a part of a show where they had a leading lady being Bisexual. Bob was also part of one of Australia’s first gay kiss scenes on tv. He went to Pride with Richard well before Arryn ever did and according to her statement she says “when he found out I was bisexual he was furious” but Arryn has always been openly Bisexual. She was constantly talking about it during on twitter during the time they were constantly tweeting each other back and forth before she officially broke up with Miles. There’s no possible way Bob didn’t know Arryn was bisexual before dating her. If he was biphobic, he simply wouldn’t have dated her, nor would he constantly be showing support for LGBTQ over the years. Arryn also frequently talked about being Bisexual still while they were dating. She was never not open about that.

Those above are some of the times he’s been vocal about Bisexual/LGBTQ rights/support. He’s also a fan of Tegan and Sara and has liked a few posts of theirs. Then we have the post from yesterday of Eliza talking about being proud to represent Bisexuals by playing Clarke and Bob taking the photo/liking the post.

With Arryn deactivating her Twitter I can’t go through and find all the times she was open about being Bisexual while with Bob but, here are two instances I could find. So she never stopped talking about her sexuality while with Bob.

One of the biggest holes in Arryn’s story is when she talks about how she got a rental property for her and Bob in Australia and after doing the paperwork and moving everything in, shortly after he dumped her to be with Eliza and that they stole the place from her and that he never intended for that to be their place. The first thing about that is there was never a place in Australia - the place in Australia that Bob and Eliza have was BOUGHT by them and is NOT the place Arryn is referring to. I was incorrect about this statement - I got confused and thought Arryn had said in her statement that the house was in Australia but, she said “The Hills” and I remembered seeing some fans attacking Bob for posting photos of their house in Australia on his cover on Facebook as “rubbing it in her face” and combined those in my head. So I apologize.

The place Arryn is referring to is the rental place in LA. I’m not sure how she made that error or why she didn’t correct it but, there’s that. So Eliza and Bob “stole” the rental home from her but, later on in her statement she confirms that she actually DID live in the rental house and that she left because she got spooked when fans found out she was looking for roommates since she couldn’t afford to live there by herself. She states that herself and plenty of fans have confirmed remembering seeing her looking for roommates during that time. Bob gave her the place originally, she couldn’t afford it and got scared, so she gave it back to him. That is the house where Bob and Eliza are currently staying at during quarantine in LA. Now according to Eliza’s story of when her and Bob got together she states that she had signed a one year lease with her friend Nina in Vancouver sometime in Feb. 2019 and in March 2019 when they were unpacking Bob came over and asked her on a date. Going back to Arryn’s story, this couldn’t be true since according to her they were having an affair for at least 6 months that she knew of and that her getting their rental house in LA in December 2018 was essentially for Bob and Eliza she just didn’t know that at the time. These photos from Nina’s Instagram/Stories confirm Eliza’s side of the story.

So Eliza was still with Nina until at least May 2019. It wasn’t until June 2019 that Eliza was officially living with Bob and they had gotten Panda.

If they stole this place from her, why did they not move in together until June?

Another part of Arryn’s story is about how she “caught” them together on camera while she was in New Zealand. That trip by the way, she was with her mother while Bob was home in LA recovering from knee surgery. She went on a trip with her mother (aka family that Bob isolated her from) while he was recovering from surgery. You’d think someone controlling would force her to stay and take care of them. Shortly after she “caught” them cheating, she publicly announced how much she missed Eliza and wished her a happy birthday via Instagram. So this was the “6 months” she was referring to, she “caught” them together, and then 6 months later in Feb 2019 he dumped her for Eliza. However, up until Jun 2019 (when they officially married/moved in together), Arryn was STILL friendly with them both on social media. Now I understand people want to say “well she was brainwashed by them, it makes sense”. Again, if you’ve been in a situation like this the moment you’re free from your abuser/s you cut the chord. It makes no sense she’d continue to be friendly with them both AFTER catching them cheating, AFTER he dumped her for Eliza and “stole” the house she got for them, and AFTER escaping her abuser. Giving her the benefit of the doubt and she did still feel the need to be attached to her abuser/s for a while after the break up, why was it that when she caught them cheating 6 months prior did she only claim she felt betrayed by one of her close friends and cut them off completely in June 2019 after Beliza announced their marriage? She had no problem cutting off the “betrayer” then.

The youtube video below is an interview featuring Barbara and Arryn May 14th 2019 where at she talks about the betrayal. She says she had a friend betray a huge amount of trust even though they thought they were close and the best way to deal with it was to cut them completely off. (This was clearly about Eliza and is around the 53:00 mark). Mind you, going back to her statement she claims Bob “forced” them to be friends. In this same interview she also talks about getting a therapist (around 10:49 mark) “for no reason in particular” and “doesn’t know what she even needs help with” other than her anxiety and feeling like she didn’t want to dump all her problems on friends and wanted someone to talk to. She talks very light hearted about it and in no way indicates that she’s seeking therapy for an abusive relationship or anything similar. While watching this interview, at (29:40) is where she actually confirms moving to LA with a significant other. Confirming earlier that she left Miles for Bob. She also says that she found most of her friends were through said significant other (Bob) and although she’s friends with them even though they aren’t together anymore, she doesn’t have too many friends outside of that relationship but, (again she’s very light-hearted talking about this) that it’s because she spent so much time around them that your friends become theirs and vise versa and that she “really doesn’t want to make friends because she’s comfortable being alone”. She later (around 42:00) talks about how pretty much ALL of her friends have been because of boyfriends.

Now then, in her other statement she mentions her relationship with Miles briefly because people brought up that she cheated on him. She states “they were consenting adults in their relationship and he was okay with me being with a woman”. This is only true to a degree - he was technically okay with it, however she cheated FIRST, she started making out with a girl while drunk and he saw it and him and his friends thought it was “hot”. Afterwards she asked him if it was fine and he said “yes because I’m right here and it’s hot”. He also basically implies that he’d be “okay” with his girlfriend cheating with another girl but not a man. This is all from HIS mouth. Not only is all of that completely derogatory to bisexuals (I’m bi just FYI), it cancels out her statement of them talking about her being with another girl beforehand and him being okay with it because they did NOT talk about it before. He simply said he was okay with her being bi.

How would she know this first of all? And secondly, Jane is actually still close with his family. I can’t imagine she would be if he cheated on her. Especially because they dated for a little over a year where him and Arryn dated for over 3 years. Bob’s family cut off Arryn but, not Jane. It’s also a bit odd to me that Arryn’s mother is still friends with Bob’s mother. Terry is Bob’s mother, Bev is Arryn’s.

Next we have the video that stirred Arryn’s statement to begin with where she was on stream saying “the last two women I dated were batshit, actually most women are batshit” and then proceeded to say that she has a history of dating “psychopaths and narcissists”. These are all incredibly gross statements and if you find yourself claiming that ALL of your relationships are either psychos, narcissists, and/or batshit - you should probably check yourself.

She says she’s terrified of Bob, always has been and still is. However, she never once claimed he was physically abusive. I don’t know a single person who’s been emotionally/mentally abusive who has ever used the term “afraid” when talking about the abuser. The ex I had that was controlling and the ex I had that was mentally abusive both had a lot of issues, they were assholes, toxic, and terrible partners but, I was never once afraid of them. I’ve dealt with a narcissist (actually the ex of my partner who has bullied/harassed me, not an ex of my own) and while being a pathological liar is a trait of a narcissist - it doesn’t make you automatically a narcissist to be a pathological liar and/or toxic. Nothing she describes = narcissist. So it’s not okay that she uses that term to describe Bob or any of her exes. Talk to anyone who’s been physically abused and you’ll get the statement of them being scared and/or terrified. However, you’ll also get a vastly different reaction from them compared to Arryn’s on how they speak about the abuse they endured and their abuser. If you’re scared of someone after being abused, you don’t call them names, you don’t laugh about name calling, or about the abuse you endured (no, not even to “break tension”), you’re terrified - you’re scared of speaking out extremely vocally because of “what they might do to you”. I’d also like to mention it’s extremely rare for the abuser to dump the victim. They’re controlling/abusive to KEEP you around, they SCARE you to KEEP you around. Not dump you to be with someone else.

Abusive people also don’t just magically change/get better. They have a history of being this way and more often than not continue to be that way to future partners. Arryn claims Bob wasn’t supportive of anything she did, didn’t let her sing/do music, isolated her from family and friends, refused therapy. Yet, with Eliza it’s incredibly different. She’s always with friends/family and he’s often with them as well. She sings/does music as well and he’s supportive of it and everything she does including her foundation. And, he’s in therapy. They both are so she can figure out how to be a better partner for him due to his extreme depression/suicidal thoughts. I’d also like to remind you that Bob bought Arryn a new keyboard for her birthday one year and was supportive of her being in a friend’s music video in 2018.

Arryn was told at some point in a stream I guess about Bob going to therapy and she said something along the lines of “good for him although I doubt he’s changed”. If she didn’t think it was possible he could change, why did she say she tried to get him into therapy and he refused for years? Why would he refuse therapy but, go into therapy within months of being with Eliza? Since breaking up with Arryn, Bob has been incredibly vocal on social media about his mental health struggles where when he was with her he was fairly silent. He occasionally posted support for mental health awareness but, nothing compared to what he does now. Almost like his mental health got incredibly bad while dating Arryn and he was hiding it from the public/not allowed to talk about it.

I want to say that the abuse and harassment Arryn apparently endured from The 100 fans while dating Bob and even after is completely uncalled for and I do feel bad that she had to go through that. No one deserves that. However, it’s important to also remember that there is absolutely NOTHING Bob could’ve done to stop that. Nothing he could say that would force people to stop saying shit. People are going to do what they are going to do regardless. True fans, should’ve been happy for him and supported his relationship. No celebrity can control their fans and the few times some of them have spoken out about their fans doing shit like this - nothing happened or it made the fans worse. Bottom line is fans have a problem of feeling entitled and that celebrities/their fav should listen to them. People didn’t like Arryn and nothing Bob said was going to change that. It’s incredibly naive to hold anyone accountable for someone else’s behavior. Much the same as Arryn isn’t able to control her fans doing the SAME thing to Beliza now. Bob and Eliza have both always been very open about how they don’t approve of bullying, harassment, and that you should “be kind”. That alone should be enough for fans to know not to harass/bully someone. They’ve both received hate mail, death threats, been told it’s good Eliza had a miscarriage and they hope she’s sterile, had mail sent to their house, etc. and they haven’t openly talked about that. They haven’t “told fans to knock it off”. Hell their marriage was literally found out by fans before they wanted to announce it because they found Eliza’s number and called her. That’s crossing a line too and harassing them but, they STILL didn’t say anything publicly. They instead announced their marriage and just said “we ask for privacy during this time”. So it makes no sense that you’d expect them or ANY celebrity for that matter - to have control over their fans, “force” their fans to stop doing shit, and blame them for what their fans do/have done.

I do not believe that Bob is completely innocent. I believe their relationship was incredibly toxic and bad for them both and they probably brought out the worst in each other. I don’t doubt they had yelling matches and probably said mean things to one another. However, I 100% believe it was a MUTUAL thing. Arryn is NOT innocent or the victim/survivor and Bob is NOT the animal she’s making him out to be. It sounds more like she, not only felt betrayed by Bob and Eliza getting together, but that she was tired of their fans harassing her for years and continuing even after they broke up/got together that the only thing she could think to do was release a statement and throw Bob completely under the bus to save herself. If she’s painted as the victim and Bob the villain then surely the harassment will stop. Especially with how people blindly believe any statement released in regards to abuse or rape. After experiencing years of harassment she only decides to deactivate her twitter after people poked holes in her story and she realized not everyone believed her and she was STILL getting harassment. Again, she doesn’t deserve the constant harassment. I believe that is what pushed her to this point. No, it’s not okay that she’s lied and done this by any means but, I think she felt backed into a corner and lashed out. I can understand where she’s coming from, even though it doesn’t excuse it or make it right.

One last note, something I remembered: she specifically stated Bob was the reason she deactivated Youtube and stopped posting/being on social media as much. However, she slowly stopped doing that while with Miles and in her statement about breaking up with him said she’d be taking a hiatus from Youtube but, would be back. However, I think she just decided against that because she wanted to unplug and live life.

Now one of the major things everyone says is proof of her statement is that Bob has been silent. I’d like to remind you that usually guilty parties deny deny and are vocal. Bob’s silence is more proof to me that he’s innocent. He knows no matter what he says - won’t matter. If he denies it, people will say he’s lying. The victim/survivor wants to move on, they want to forget the abuser, don’t acknowledge them and just want to be happy. All of the things BOB is doing, not Arryn. I’ve seen people say “if he’s innocent he’d sue her for slander” however, how is that any different than the countless rape/physical abuse victims that don’t come forward or call the cops/take them to court? They don’t want to relive all that. They want to move on. The damage has already been done with her statement, same way as even though Amber Heard was proven a liar in court - the damage was/is done. Johnny still isn’t going to be able to work with Disney again, certain people STILL defend Amber despite the court findings/evidence. What would be the purpose of him denying it? The man is in therapy because he incredibly depressed/suicidal and looks so much happier/healthier in his marriage with Eliza. He just wants to leave it all behind. Denying it/suing her will just continue the lengthy process of moving on from everything and re-stir the pot. I’d also like to throw in there the fact that proving emotional/mental abuse is incredibly hard so it’s not like taking her to court over slander would really do anything. Johnny was able to fight his case because it was physical abuse and there was countless amounts of evidence/witnesses/documents/photos etc. Most people don’t have any solid evidence against mental/emotional abuse because it happens in person/in the moment. Unless you’re recording everything, you won’t have proof. It’s just he said/she said. That’s why the majority of Arryn’s statement was about cheating and not the abuse.

1. Your first ship: Sonny and Chad (Sonny with a Chance) ugh my first Disney ship, the couple I shipped before I knew what shipping was. I remember being 10 years old and getting so excited when I was watching and they got together. Simpler times

2. Your first OTP: Sabrina and Harvey (Sabrina the Teenage Witch) I adored these two they were my childhood and I’m so happy they were endgame even though the last season was messy. I love this show and I love these two, definition of soulmates.

3. Your current favourite ship: Bellarke (the 100) when I get sad over Bellarke, I re-read the books because they have so many adorable moments in the books like their first kiss by the lake and Bellamy always teasing her. I love them so much and I could easily rant about how much I hate the writers but if you know you know. But at least they’re engaged in the books and Beliza are married🥺🥺

4. You shipped from the first minute: Ruby and Mulan (ouat) these two had so much chemistry and would’ve been so much more iconic than Ruby and Dorothy, and Mulan was definitely in love with Ruby when she first saw her.

5. You wish they had been endgame: Jess and Rory (Gilmore Girls) I’m still so upset over these two I love the early seasons of GG and they were perfect together. I don’t like to think about the year in the life I just focus on when they were in love 🥺

6. You wish they had been canon: Okay this was hard because I literally have so many. But I’m gonna go with Henry and Ivy (ouat) because they would’ve been so powerful together and I’ve ranted before on my page about how they should’ve been together and why it would’ve made so much sense but them being together would’ve made s7 so much better.

7. A ship you like but most of the fandom hates: Bash and Mary (Reign) I’m like the 1% of the fandom that preferred Mary and Bash like her and Francis were cute but I adored her and Bash they were adorable and Bash never got over his love for Mary even when he was with Kenna.

8. You don’t even watch the show but you ship them anyways: Chris and Eva (Skam) I could never really get into Skam but I always see these two in multicouples vids and I’ve watched a few moments online and I really like them even though I don’t really know what happens between them

9. You wish they had a different storyline; Tobias/Four and Tris (Divergent) okay Divergent is my comfort series and while I hate the movies for depriving us of amazing scenes and messing up the plot, I still love these two. I’ll forever be mad over the ending to Alleigant my babies deserved so much better 😭

10. Fave ship that was endgame: Captain Swan (OUAT) it was so hard not to put these two in another category but I love these two so much my entire blog is pretty much devoted to them. They really got their happy ending and I could rant for hours about them but I’m so happy they got their happily ever after 🥺

hi seed! i hope you’re well! i just read the new buzfeed article about shipping celebrities and larry and it made me... idk it made me feel super dumb? like am i really a crazy conspirary theoryst? like i still think hl were/are together but idk i have very ambivalent feelings towards that article. bc it did make some good points about how we project onto celebrities and how truly invasive it can be when people tweet at their family members, friends... but at the same time it just had a tone about how we are all insane and crazy and living in a fantasy world... and how louis is in fact straight and we are just so in denial we keep coming up with insane theories why he’s in the closet. i don’t think hl owe us anything, but i do have eyes (their tattoo, the fake baby bump and so on...) have you read the article? if you don’t want to read it, it’s fine, but i’m interested in what you think, i always value your opinions and i know you’re a chill larrie so that’s why i thought i would ask you, bc you’re smart and sensible and non invansive. have a good day!!

hi ! i dont know which article this is about, couldn’t find it. but shipping isn’t inherently bad and evil the way some people make it out to be. in the context of larry, for me (and a lot of others), it’s not even shipping. celebrities do manage to hide their relationships for however long that want/need to—whatever the reason may be. do i think it’s wrong to tweet @ their friends and family about a relationship that isn’t public? yes. i never have and never will do that unless hl come out—and even then i really have no reason to tweet @ their loved ones.

larries in particular have been an easy target for a long time but need i remind buzzfeed that they fed into some of the “conspiracies”? if larries are so toxic and damaging, perhaps buzzfeed shouldn’t have hopped on the train and posted articles about babygate that were pulled straight from tumblr. they played a part in normalizing the doubt about freddie’s parentage. if shipping is inherently so toxic, perhaps buzzfeed shouldnt ever write those “x and y are so cute here’s some of their top moments” articles. larries are toxic and delusional because there’s actual weight to our “ship” and we have reasonable evidence to not believe louis is a father: more than one instance proving briana wasn’t pregnant, legal battles, and years of behavior afterwards.

you’re not dumb for reading between the lines and picking up what harry and louis put down. for a comparison, look into bob morley and eliza taylor if you don’t know their story. striking parallels between their relationship and larry. it obviously never got the media attention that larry does but within the fanbase their “shippers” were ridiculed for a long time before it came out that beliza got married. it’s not “shipping” that’s a problem, it’s people’s individual behaviors. buzzfeed can eat my ass frankly. i might one day not be a larrie if hl break up but there wont be a day i believe louis tomlinson is father to freddie

This show used to be my comfort show. It was my therapy — bellarke and beliza both were. On the days where things were tough, it would be there. Watching edits, writing my own adaptations, keeping track of the cast in general, watching conventions, eventually going to one last year and meeting some of the people who played a pivotal role in something that became more than just a show for me.

And it’s heartbreaking. Because next week is the final time we’re seeing these characters, but it doesn’t feel like a proper goodbye. How can it be a goodbye when the show isn’t the same anymore? Years of development has been shattered, deaths written due to the maliciousness of a producer rather than being crucial to the plot. We never got to say goodbye because, at some point for all of us whether it was a stage in this season or seasons before, it transformed into something unbearable to enjoy and caused more distress than comfort.

And if you’ve had to go through the same thing I am right now, then I’m sorry. You deserved better. Our characters deserved better. The cast, more than anyone, deserved SO much better. And the one positive is that The 100 production is finally over. The cast will be able to move on to better and greater things where hopefully they’ll never have to endure what’s happened on this show.

However upset, frustrated, overwhelmed, or any other kind of emotion you’re feeling right now is valid. Maybe you’ll find relief in the end next week, maybe it’ll take time as, like I’ve said, it’s not the same show anymore. We’re saying goodbye to the shells of the characters we once loved, the writing no longer portraying them properly.

May we meet again in a fandom that treats us better.

aw, thank you, that’s so sweet! i think im horrible at meta, my brain just won’t order my thoughts the right way.

it’s funny you’re asking me that cause the other day when i was rewatching the scene with mel, bellamy, murphy, finn, monroe and sterling i remembered kimsh*um saying how mel was supposed to be a love interest for bellamy but the actress wasn’t available if i remember correctly.

and that made me think about his love interestest apart from clarke and gina who we saw briefly.

now i think gina would’ve been great to see in terms of bellamy because they met i believe, in our headcanon land, while he was trying to kind of drown his sorrows in the arkadia bar where we see her serving later on briefly, again in season 3 and though i know it wasn’t a deep relationship, it wasn’t a bad one.

it was one produced out of the circumstances that probably (though we know nothing about her) they both felt like shit but kind of found something within each other that they liked/perhaps enjoyed. maybe gina was a good listener, maybe she let him pour his heart out about all of the mount weather horrors.

maybe, and i am reaching here, but she was the only one who knew about all of it-his torture coming in the mountain, his responsibility for his people and the guilt for those they killed inside. maybe bellamy even shared some stuff of his childhood with her because gina seems like the kind of person who is a good and understanding listener and she wouldn’t offer judgement but she’d get him, you know?

i think that’s why i loved gina out of them all (apart from clarke, like we’re putting bellarke aside in this whole debate) because she was a good kind yet smart and persistent person-a nice match for a hurt, confused guilt-ridden bellamy who felt all alone after season 2 and who had all this anger and helplessness inside him. we can see her worry about his leg after he went out to look for clarke and she worries sending him out there beyond arkadian walls-

basically something i’ve always wished for, for bellamy-someone to give a crap for him ( i exclude e/xho s7 narrative cause it makes zero sense and we didn’t see it in any depth)

so apart from gina we have what? e/cho right? and what makes it interesting for me here when our favorite racist kimsh*m talked about mel possibly being a love interest for bell is that i feel like they wanted to instill this...idea for a bellamy love interest where he falls in love for someone that he ultimately-

saves.

maybe that is also the case with clarke too but it was never explored as we know because they refused to for a variety of reasons, the last one being out of spite, the previous being c/lexa-we’re speaking honestly here and that’s how it was.

so they wanted bellamy to fall for someone he *saves*

which i don’t think is a good like treatment of his character at all. i believe jroth in his stupid brain makes sense from the fact that because bellamy always took care of octavia, his entire life, those were the circumstaces he grew up in, then it’s only logically (and psychologically, yes it is), that he falls for someone that he *saves*, like he saved his sister and raised her from a baby to a grown adult.

so mel was someone he saved and she would’ve been a nice fill was she of age (not sure she was) and was the actress available.

but then came ta/sya and her nepotism, aka her being on the show cause she has connections to jroth and since bellamy so perfectly saved her from the cages in season 2 suddenly mel was easily replaced with-

e/cho.

of course they played around it for a bit and i assume they didn’t do it before season 5 for two big reasons-

one was that bob who frankly was absolutely right in that, didn’t want a love interest in season 1, didn’t want bellarke to happen in season 1 and thank god IT didn’t cause it would’ve been absolultely nothing left of it by season 3, and the other was

e/chos betrayal which needed time to simmer into a forgivness and what better way than trapping them on a ring in space for 6 years, right? who would you pair him with other than-oh well it could’ve been raven which frankly, much better choice or it could be e/cho which again-

first to spite the fandom (and i believe we played a big role in jason choosing her and not raven because he saw how panicked we were in season 4 about it especially after 4x13 all everyone talked about was how yep it’d be becco in season 5 and he just said ha-ILL SPITE YOU YOU STUPID FANGIRLS you don’t want it-HA BUT YOU GOT IT and I am sure to this day had we talked more about not wanting bellamy and raven the more we would’ve gotten that instead of becco)

and second cause again of nepotism-here’s this actress who can absolutely not act and has zero chemistry with the main lead-yep, only seems logical we put her as his love interest.

and mind you I wanna reiterate here that bob has chemistry with everyone else including male actors like richard and chuku way more than he ever did with ta/sya so jroth’s logic here that oh yeah beliza were always kind of maybe in love that’s why that worked-LACKS and is beyond offensive

so yes, i believe the idea was always to portray his love interest as a continuation of the cirmustances of his childhood-so he falls in love with someone who he saves like he saved his sister, that being mel (that fell through) and eggo and...ultimately also clarke though with her is much more complicated but think about that

how many more times had he saved her than she him? right?

when is he the saved one?

if we count season 2 when clarke supposedly lets the bomb drop on TonDC to save him though again-grey area, she mostly listens to L/exa who doesn’t want her people to turn on her and then you have season 7 when again Eggo supposedly goes on this journey for him and ends up killing people but not because OF bellamy but because she simply has been hiding the beast inside her for six years and she cannot keep it at bay anymore.

so apart from gina and ...well debatable here but clarke too, he’s never had a love interest that he didn’t save. also we don’t know how exactly he did come by to know gina-did he know her from before? did he maybe save her too? did he just randomly started talking to her?

so that is it on this particular subject and whilst it may be psychologically correct if there is such a term i find it too weak of an excuse for a character like bellamy because when he loves he loves dearly and it is clear that yes he carries the big baggage that is octavia but i dont believe that should attach to his love life and his romance.
