#lmk#lego monkie kid#lego monkey kid#sun wukong#six eared macaque#shadowpeach#myart#fanart#ok so I have a headcanon that inspired this whole thing#and hopefully with this added context it'll make the piece a whole lot better :3c#So because Macaque died#he probably runs at a lower body temperature (akin to a corpse some days)#and struggles to feel warmth#Wukong on the other hand definitely has trauma associated with extreme heat#ie: being force fed red hot iron pellets and molten copper#being cooked in the trigram furnace for 49 days#and being scorched by the samahdi fire#so in the middle of a blistering hot summer day#they begrudgingly get attracted to eachother like magnets#Wukong bringing warmth to Macaque#and Macaque bringing relief to Wukong#balancing eachother out#but ofc they're still dumb about it#wouldn't be shadowpeach if they were angry about being exactly where they wanted to be :3c#thANK YOU for reading this far in the tags#I hope you enjoy the art
