Can we talk about the look on Spencer’s face when Trina told him she wasn’t leaving him when he was tryna come up with one of his boneheaded plans 🥹. Takes me back to their conversation outside of Kelly’s where he talked about not knowing how it felt to have someone care about him so much that it would hurt them if he was gone. Well there you have it sir. How does it feel? Man these two be having me in my feels constantly these days
Yeah, that was one of my favorite scenes from this past week. Trina, in her desperation, making the depth of her feelings more transparent than she ever has without realizing it. And Spencer having these moments of realization where it's hitting him that Trina is that person he's talked about always wanting in his life.
That bench scene is one of my favorites too because you can see the urge Trina has to tell him that she cares about him that way, from then, but she holds herself back because she hasn't settled things with Rory yet. But you can literally see it all start to click for Spencer in that moment.
The same Trina that he never thought he'd get because he never thought he deserved her. Those quick, quiet moments between the two of them in the middle of an otherwise chaotic adventure have been beautifully done and significant.

“I saw a young Qunari working in a simple bakery, baking bread as she was ordered every morning. In every loaf she broke the rules. She’d take a pinch of sugar and would fold it in to the center, like a secret. And this act of small rebellion brought a shining smile across her face.”
Keria couldn’t put into words exactly why that was the moment she realized she was in love with him.
It wasn’t that he had such fascinating stories to tell — observing interesting things did not make one interesting.
It wasn’t just that he’d understood what that rebellion had meant to the baker, though that was part of it. That deep understanding of one’s spirit that he always sought.
It was more that of all the myriad of stories he had to share, he thought this little one worth telling. That such a small thing held value enough to warrant not just remembering it, but wanting to share it with her.
“Lethallan?”
Keria blinked up at him past the sharp, bittersweet pain that gripped her heart. He was not a man of easy smiles, but he always seemed to carry the ghost of one when he looked at her. Was it any wonder she’d been interested in him ever since that time in the woods outside Haven, when he’d comforted her over the loss of her clan? She’d been so alone, and he so kind.
She let out a long, steadying breath. She would have to stop flirting with him. She’d been blatantly trying to pursue him since their kiss in the Fade, but he’d remained at arm’s length. The rejection hurt even worse now. Best to avoid it as much as possible.
In any case, he’d probably prefer it. If he was interested in being with her he would have said as much by now.
Still, love was always a beautiful thing, wasn’t it? Even when it hurt.
“Sorry. I’m listening, please continue.”
Solas smiled, and he continued his tale.

advice i think we should tell children is that when adults say stuff like ‘now that i’m an adult i get really excited about stuff like coffee tables and bathrooms and rugs etc’ they don’t mean ‘and now i don’t care about blorbo and squimbus from my childhood tv shows anymore’ bc your average adult still loves all the same pop culture stuff they always did; they just have a greater appreciation for the mundane as well. growing up just means you can enjoy life twice as much now. you can get really excited about a new stuffed animal AND about a new kitchen sponge. peace and love
