Oh man time to rewatch c2e1 and uh just everything-

Part one.

Wow everyone looks so much younger.

They are sitting near each other! Touching, breathing on each other! I’d never have guessed that be the thing that truly shocked me.

The accents. Nott is cockney! Caleb is just barely German. Fjord is Texan. Molly is there with Tal doing his Irish accent.

Everyone is dirt poor.

They’re in Trostenwald!

Breakfast alcohol. The first one.

Jester. She’s just having a good time you know?

I repeat Fjord is Texan. Totally a badass. Defiantly knows what he’s doing. Totally didn’t wake up with a sword on a beach a couple weeks ago and no idea what the fuck happened. /s

Beau, she’s not used to things like turning out… good.

Travis rolls the first roll and Nat 20 of C2.

Oh count those copper Beau. (She was the treasurer at that point).

Plan that theft of copper Nott. All the cons. Dammit we only ever saw a couple.

Caleb is very dirty. Probably at least a little stinky. (Listen Liam seemed to low key hate it a bit, but his dude has been wearing the same clothes for at least weeks and sleeps in the woods with a drunk Goblin). Jester is not used to meeting people who live in the woods, yet. (He does need a bath)

Beau realizes Nott may not be a halfling.

Caleb and Nott are very anxious.

Jester loves pastries. The beginning.

They are all just so suspicious of each other.

Caleb blurting out to everyone Nott is a goblin. Just the anxiety overtaking him.

Will jester find her dad? The Eye (she will, she already has her first clue). True or not?

Yea the elderly and Ill totally not being kept away to avoid revealing the ringmasters pact with a devil.

And off an odd pair go.

Beau just can’t tell Jester Molly is a conman with tarot cards.

And Caleb knows everything about magic. He’s got a magic cat, but he’d say it’s just a cat.

Oof the academy. “That’s silly” is doing a lot of… something.

Jester is also magic. And everyone knows.

Oh Fjord, -and Caleb- low profile abandoned you the moment you met Jester at the least.

Oh poor Fjord and his cat allergy. It begins.

Haha. Yup the Academy, it’s great. And full of just good people. /j

Therapy cat Frumpkin. It begins or continues maybe.

Caleb does not share his books. His two books.

Jester has a problem. A Gambling problem.

Oh right Crick is a, a word… bright queen reference?

Nott and Caleb just do not want to spend money. And they are shady effers fully cheat lie and steal, even from other PCs.

Oh right that’s all the PCs at this point. Later it’s just NPCs. They came a long way.

Saving Caleb’s life is worth one silver price to him. He also came a long way.

Nott will not be separated from her money. She’s quite anxious.

Laura wants the money. Jester tried to. E charitable tho.

Drinks solve all things. And money is returned!

Perhaps friendship begins? Ish? (It will sooner than later!)

Oh right the quest board. Haven’t seen that in a lot while. Not much up rn.

Mm Crates and Gambling.

Calebs get body shields friends plan is going swimmingly.

First Blessing of the Trickster!

Nott has 5 Charisma. And she is on the run from someone. Who? I don’t remember probably no one. She’s got an archmage’s stolen handkerchief somewhere.

The Eye! The Baumbachs are the first part of Jesters quest to her dad. If they never worked for and then hated them, Beau wouldn’t have stolen their mail leading them to the Gentleman.

No Sam not quite that accent. But that’s understandable.

Are they leaving the inn? Time for a beer tour?
