Hi Shima! You have a lot of Pokemon content on your page and I’m sorta curious about the like, world of Pokemon, so would you have any recommendations on what like game I should start with or what I should watch first? Thanks!
!!! YOOOOO OKAY I GOTCHU ANON. Buckle up bc my 20 years of being a Pokemon fan is about to kick in
As for where to start with the games--this is all really depending on how your own personal playstyle! Do you like games that are more easy going and light on plot? Or do you like ones with heavy amounts of story? Or do you prefer games that are a perfect blend of the two? Pokemon's got a mixed bag of all of the above so you really can't go wrong
If you're into that really nostalgia feel I'd recommend starting out with the first Pokemon game I ever played as a kid, which was Pokemon Emerald! You can actually play this for free by downloading a Gameboy Advance emulator and the Emerald ROM. I have a lot of fond memories of Emerald and it's still one of my favorite games to date. I actually even prefer Emerald over its remakes (Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire) bc it just doesn't quite hit the same lol. I think even without having played Emerald as a kid it'll just spark that nostalgic feeling? It's that kind of game, at least to me :")
Going off of that if you REALLY want to hit nostalgia central and start where it all began, Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen is also a good game to start out with. It's a remake of Pokemon Red/Blue, which were the first ever Pokemon games that were made. Personally I'm not a super huge Gen 1 fan bc I feel like it's been WAY overdone at this point (it's had two remakes already) but if you've never played a Pokemon game again it's definitely a good starting point. It's barely got any plot so it's really a game you can just dive into and enjoy without focusing too hard on the story. AND as an added bonus, Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver is the direct sequel to Gen 1 (and a remake of the original Gold/Silver/Crystal) so I'd definitely play that one as well, it's lots of fun!
Of course I will also recommend Pokemon Black/White and Black 2/White 2, which is generation 5 and my FAVORITE mainline Pokemon games of all time. BW released right before the transition to the 3D games so it still has sprite art. It's a GORGEOUS game honestly and I think it's really well balanced with story VS gameplay. It's got great characters and fantastic design elements (with everything honestly like the Pokemon designs are great, the character designs are great, the city/town designs are great, etc) and the most KICKASS soundtrack ever (looking at you Driftveil City AKA Toothless dancing meme music). I could go on and on and on about Gen 5 for hours lmao I really hold it near and dear to my heart. Also it's one of the very few games that actually has a sequel which I LOVE. BW2 takes place two years after BW and I love the story and character progression 🥰
Shouting out Pokemon Platinum as well, I know it's a huge fan favorite and honestly I also love it very much!! Platinum came out before BW did so it's got that early DS era feel to it. It's got a decent plot and classic fun gameplay elements. Also Pokemon Legends Arceus which ties directly into Platinum as its prequel (but you should play Platinum first? I know it's confusing lol). PLA is SUPER fucking fun, it's got a completely different gameplay style and mechanic than regular Pokemon games, and it ties in with Platinum so well.
And to my last few recommendations -
Pokemon Sun and Moon!! There's mixed feelings about this one from a lot of people but it's one of my personal favorites...I think people dislike that it's so plot heavy, there's a LOT of dialogue even when starting the game so if you're not into that I wouldn't go with SM. But I LOVE games that are heavy with plot and SM just does it so well. The characterization is really well done and I love watching Lillie go through her development arc 🤧 But yeah it's SM NOT Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon which are like. The same games but Worse. USUM took SM's plot and stomped all over it so I would not go for those lol
And, of courseeee. Pokemon Scarlet and Violet! These are the most recent mainline games to release and ohhh my god. Is the game laggy and bugged out as hell? Yes. Is it also fucking FANTASTIC and has made me cry multiple times? ALSO yes. If you don't mind occasional shitty graphics then please please PLEASE play SV. The open world aspect is a ton of fun, the new Pokemon designs are so charming, the characters are wonderful, and the STORY??? The plot literally blew my socks off the first time I played it. SV endgame you will always be the king of my heart. It's definitely heavier than any previous Pokemon game and it had me reeling for DAYS after. The story is just. So so so good. And we get a continuation of the story kicking ass in the DLC. I love SV to death it really redeemed Pokemon after the disaster that was gen 8 for me (and it's REALLY fun to shiny hunt in).
And LAST but certainly not least. My favorite Pokemon game of all time period ever in the history of Pokemon. Not a mainline game but a side/spinoff game--Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky!! If you want the classic Pokemon experience I probably wouldn't start with this since it's so different from the mainline games but I'd 10000% play it after finishing your first Pokemon game. It's a dungeon crawler, you get to BE a Pokemon, the music is phenomenal, the gameplay is phenomenal, the story is PHENOMENAL, everything about it is incredible and I will love this game until the day I die. I CANNOT recommend it enough. It's so so SO good and it means so much to me I can't even. Please play PMD Sky this goes to everyone who hasn't played it I prommy it's worth it
So basically:
Easy games with no/light plot: FRLG, Emerald, HGSS
Games with a perfect blend of actual gameplay and plot: BW/B2W2, Platinum, PLA
Games that hit HEAVY with plot/storyline: SM, SV, PMD Sky
Honestly you really cannot go wrong no matter where you start out. Even if it's with one of the games I DIDN'T personally recommend, all the mainline games have their own unique charm and each generation has its die hard fans (UNOVA GANG RISE). I've played all of them and they're all enjoyable!
As for the anime, my personal recommendations are the XY saga and the SM saga! The SM saga is my ultimate favorite, it's really cute and charming and fun, with some heavier plot arcs sprinkled in so it's a good blend between lighthearted stuff and more serious story. XY is VERY plot-heavy especially in the latter part, there's a lot of character development and crazy stuff going on, so I'd go for that one if you want to get hit hard with Feels. I haven't watched as much of the anime so I'm sure other people would recommend other seasons (I know the original saga, the Hoenn saga and the DP saga are fan favorites).
I'd also recommend watching the sub instead of the dub,, especially if you haven't grown up watching the Pokemon anime like me the dub is VERY hit or miss. I prefer subs as well bc the dub actually cuts out a LOT of stuff? I know for SM they had fun extra little bits at the beginning and ending of each episode that the dub just. Didn't include. For some reason? Like they'd cut out entire scenes. Idk. It's up to you either way tho ^^
And that is my introduction to Pokemon list.........if anybody has anything to add feel free! These are just my personal recommendations based off of what I like so naturally not everyone will agree lol. If you have any questions anon don't hesitate to ask, I'm always down to talk Pokemon. And I hope you have lots of fun playing whichever game you decide to go with!!

OH BRILLIANT I CAN SUM UP MY ZOROAKARI AU. BASICALLY IT'S JUST. YKNOW THE POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS FEMALE PROTAGONIST. YEAH I MADE HER A ZOROARK
I have fics about her actually!! They come out on my Ao3 every Wednesday!!
(info under the cut bc LONG)
She's technically meant to be a changeling! She was supposed to replace Dawn by possessing her body(courtesy of Zoroark mother) until Dawn's soul collapsed under the weight of Akari's Zorua soul, but that didn't end up happening because Akari ended up being aware of the nature of her existence way too early(woke up while Zoroark mother was putting her in Dawn's body), started hopping out of Dawn's body and letting her take the reigns again, and then shapeshifting into a copy of her, and they ended up living as twins! Johanna was surprisingly chill about this because I like when characters are nice to each other
So Dawn took the champion title at the age of 12, Akari(named after the Hero of Hisui, which she then ironically became) never was much of a battler so she mostly hung out on the sidelines and cheered her sister on
Then when the two of them were 15, Akari gets eeby deebied to Hisui and Dawn has an entire breakdown in every possible way, does everything she can to try and get her back(and fails) and eventually gives up the Champion title back to Cynthia so she doesn't just completely lose her mind
She goes out across the Highlands to look for someone or something to help, mistakenly believing that because she is now baby, wild Pokemon will not try to attack her
We all know the story of PLA(i think), Akari still gets amnesia but she's still in her human disguise which becomes her default, so she doesn't remember that she's a Zorua until the Red Sky, when a Hisuian Zoroark confronts her about her still being alive when the rest of them had to die first to even get a chance, and she doesn't know what it's talking about for a while. Then she decides "if i can't become something else, it means i'm human and they were wrong"
But then she becomes a Zorua. And can't figure out how to turn back because she hasn't shapeshifted or known she could shapeshift for months
She gets beat up three different times and almost swept off the side of a cliff by a Gligar
Eventually Ingo finds her! And that's how he learns she's a Zorua, and subsequently helps her figure out her shapeshifting again! While they were practicing, she takes a form that mimics Ingo, then reverses it to look like "the man in white" which triggers Emmemories!!! Hooray!!! But then they have to go fight Dialga and Palkia at the Temple of Sinnoh so the joy is short-lived
Only a few people personally learn that Akari is a Zorua! Those people are Ingo, Rei, Mai, Lian, and Melli(I'm not counting Volo because it's in the middle of the Giratina fight and it's during his religious insanity so he's not paying that much attention)
The whole of Jubilife sort of vaguely knows Akari is a Fox due to an incident where she forgot to put her human disguise back up after sleeping in her quarters for once and answered the door for someone, complete Zoroark(she evolved sometime during or immediately after the Red Sky), but they've all kind of agreed not to tell Kamado due to the exile incident
Cyllene knows though! She's pretty chill with it as long as Akari doesn't suddenly go feral, which, she doesn't think she will. So it's sort of an open secret in Jubilife
Now from here on out, there are technically four ways the Zoroakari AU can go:
1.) Akari gets sent home by Arceus as normal, eventually reunites with her twin and her old friends, and with Ingo(and subsequently meets Emmet and Elesa in the process)
3.) Akari is not sent home, ends up wandering the Alabaster Icelands and runs into a pack of wild Zoroark. She ends up becoming their Noble Lady Zoroark(and she is motherfucking H U G E), and that's a whole nother story that I've actually written a fanfic about
2.) Akari is not sent home, whether by malice on Arceus's part for her being a Zoroark instead of human, or because she still has a role to fill. Either way, Ingo is sent home at her request, but she has to stay in Hisui. Three ways go from here. The first is that Akari goes back to the life she wasn't expecting to continue living, and exists in Hisui-and-then-Sinnoh for around 50 years. Then she fakes her death and starts region-hopping to hide her immortality(which she has due to ✨️divine intervention✨️) and brings her Hisuian team with her(mainly a Typhlosion and an alpha H-Zoroark, since both are ghosts and therefore don't die to age)
4.) Akari is not sent home, doesn't leave Hisui, and doesn't become a Noble. Instead, after a while, she notices Hisuian variants are starting to die out, and becomes a specialized breeder for them. She hides away in a forest near a coast at the very edge of the region, and sets up some pastures of her own to make a sanctuary where Hisuian variants still live to this day
One more thing before I'm done here: I subscribe to the Uncle Ingo headcanon <<<<<3
Okay that's all from me tonight probably
Unless I decide I want to talk about a bunch of scenarios

I'm v tired right now so apologies if this doesn't make much sense, but. You talking about the genre of Val's story and by proxy, Volo's changing makes me wonder what that looks like from the outside.
Like, how do people who know and interact with Val and/or Volo perceive what's happening? Do they even know there's been such a shift as caused by an inexplicable yet horrifically powerful being that can't be wholely described in words? Do they see something wrong yet there's some kind of deliberate mental block preventing them from feeling that whatever's happening is out of place and they react as if everything is completely normal even though it absolutely isn't?
Do they know but get a vague sense of dread or malaise when they think about, are near, or visibly see Val and/or Volo and they don't know what it is but it prevents them from getting any closer? That it's another block but the block is their own fear rather than something possibly created by Jacred? That the feeling also stemming from Volo is like a metaphysical "virus" that more like... makes him function as an extended area of effect of that feeling of dread Jacred emanates?
I'm just throwing ideas out bc I find existential and meta horror fascinating, and some aspects of your interpretation of the pokemon world and how it and glitches function feel similar to my own. (especially that one post about Val's entire personality being unwound and stitched back together feeling in a similar vein to my explanation for Fukakai's existence, though the way it came into existence was much more destructive.)
Eughhh... tl;dr is "if the genre of the story relating specifically to these two characters (if it miraculously doesn't involve Irida) has shifted, how do others from outside this perceive what's going on?"
The way you describe the shift and the context of it being caused by a truly eldritch being causes the setting of the story to give me "chronic wasting disease" vibes.
Not just those "it looks like a deer but when you get close you realize it's not" posts, as that implies it never was normal, no, but "it was once a perfectly normal and healthy deer but something happened and there's nothing that can be done about it as it gets perpetually worse, and due to the nature of what happened, you have no clue of exactly when it changed."
A "It's a deer but not, it's very being is decaying and rotting, and it's behavior is completely uncharacteristic of what it should be. It's uncanny and makes you feel distinctly unsafe."
It's like the setting of the story got rotated at an angle and it seems to stem from a plot relevant character not aware of the "fabricated" existence of their world deviating from the script and Whoops! :)
It makes the world itself feel oppressive once the illusion of the world being "real" is broken. Like it's a box. A universal derealization that tugs at the mind...
I am so sorry about this long ask, I speak in paragraphs. I love things like this and there being a personal witness to the horrors as they develop and overtake.
It also gives me vibes of this: [https://www.tumblr.com/arceusbeta/729654972896116736/graphics-cafe-graphics-cafe-heartbeatmotif?source=share]
OH BOY I GET TO TALK ABT JACQ N MISSINGNO LORE AGAIN. WAHAH!
So like, when I say specifically Volo’s genre changes halfway through, I just mean like metaphorically, or like, from a literary stand point. Nothing about him Actually Physically Changes, even after Jacred comes into play. But Missingno’s presence DOES completely shift the story off its axis, like you said. Up until Missingno finds Val in Hisui again, the story of Legends Arceus is SUPPOSED to play out the exact same way, albeit now with Val here. (As an aside, Val is very similar to Ingo at first, in that him falling to Hisui was an unintended variable added to the rest of the Hisui casts’ lives and personal storylines. But otherwise, both Ingo and Val are just regular people. Their presence doesn’t suddenly change the paths anyone else is on, and really doesn’t majorly alter the course of history all that much. Up until Missingno appears and throws everything out of whack, Rei and Akari will still be sent to seek out all pokemon, Volo and Giratina will still attempt to tear up spacetime and collect plates, the whole nine yards.)
BUT. Missingno and Jacred are NOT normal humans, and in fact, they resist the natural order of things by their very nature. Missingno and Jacred are both faulty pieces of ‘code’, imperfect, ‘broken’ designs that do not mesh with the strings of time and space and existence that Arceus has woven, and in fact, unravel them at the seams. Their literal existence does not follow the current rules of nature Arceus laid out, tl;dr. Jacred’s creation is the catalyst for a literal genre shift in real time, going from a big fun fantasy adventure, to like some psychological, even survival horror. Volo just remains unaware of this shift til its too late.
(And everyone else is also unaware for most of the story, I suppose? Though by the time Jacred shows up, both Val and Volo are pretty isolated from the rest of the cast due to Volo’s Bizarre Adventures in Bad Decision Making, very unfortunately for Vo. I think the only other ones who’ll even know something’s wrong with Val at all are like. Irida and Cogita. And only bc Volo just has to outright beg them for help I think. Still planning how I want that to work out, but defo Irida at least gets involved in the endgame).
As for being able to tell if something’s wrong, once Val and Missingno start to fuse, people absolutely CAN sense Something, but not in any way they could really put into words. The best way I can describe it is like. You know how one of the biggest signs of an oncoming heart attack (and like a few other health issues, I believe. I assume) is a sudden sense of dread? Like a sudden feeling that Something’s Gone Wrong In Your Body, before any Actual Physical symptoms show themselves. It’s like that I think.
Physically, no one would feel any different around a missingno’d Val, at least not in the early stages of fusion. Physically, Val looks no different. The only maybe Slightly noticeable thing is little changes in behavior, things that can easily be written off. I think until Jacred is formed, Volo only ever describes Val as ‘sick’, even if he isn’t fully sure what ‘being sick’ even means in this case. But people around Val still get Something in their body, their mind, telling them Something Is Terribly Off Here, even if they can’t particularly articulate that feeling. A Missingno’s default state is disruption, after all. It naturally disrupts any systems in place, even if one doesn’t know just what they’re feeling or what those systems even are. And the sheer damage being done won’t rear it’s head til much much later and much much Too late.
Also fun to think about how, again, Jacred’s mere presence throws the entirety of Arceus’ plans and strings of fate out of wack. And yet Jacred does not view itself as a villain or in opposition to Arceus and the orderly little story It’s writing. Jacred doesn’t view Arceus as some kind of cruel creator or anything. I hardly think it’s even aware of Arceus’ existence, or if it is, it doesn’t make it too apparent that it cares lol.
I don’t think Jacred views itself as Anything necessarily, not a hero or a villain. Fusing with Rival Trainer Valentine does make it Behave like a fusion of both the protagonist And the rival trainer classes, for sure. It acts fucking weird, and its personality and morals are fucked and inconsistent because of that fact. But again, I don’t think it Views itself as any particular role, if that makes any sense lmao.
But I Do think on some level, it believes its shattering of the natural order is freeing to all those who inhabit it*. It thinks what it’s doing is a net positive. It fused with a human after all, someone that has feelings and hopes and dreams and all that good stuff. And bc of that, Jacred loves Volo just as much as Val does, even if Jacred isn’t quite sure What it’s feeling all the time. Even the Missingno that took Val itself, while seemingly more intelligent than most other Missingno, it was still just fulfilling a need to Survive. Like It does manipulate Val a bit, but it’s more akin to that fungus that controls the minds of ants than just naturally being some Master of Charisma and Wit.
Anyway, probably all the more reason to not upset Jacred lol. Missingno may not have been fully malicious on its own, but Jacred definitely COULD be if it wanted to. It has the capacity to now.
*(Even though, in the deepest, most forgotten layers and worlds. Everything is pure chaos. Everything and everyone having collapsed in on itself into nothing but an amalgam of corruptions and ‘coding errors’ that have little chance of being pieced back into anything resembling Anything. It’s something equivalent to a hivemind, but with any trace of personality or coherent thought gone, really. Most Missingno in general are just ‘broken’ people and pokemon. Beings whose ‘code’ has decayed and been malfunctioning for god knows how long, with no legends or myths or deities to keep their worlds from falling apart, but still beings that try to carry out their ‘code’ to the best of their abilities regardless. (I think specifically of that one glitch ‘mon thats just like. Its name is just the female symbol and all it does is play a buggy version of the battle theme and softlock you.))
In conjunction w everything else said, (and related to the one computer infecting the other w poetry, which my god. I ADORE btw, tyyyy ;;; ) have also been thinking very much about how. While Volo absolutely DOES think Jacred is fucked up and wrong and shouldn’t exist and should just let his friend go. At the same time, I see Jacred as a sort of temptation for Volo. Like they Finally have the one thing in front of them that could answer all of their burning questions about the universe and their place in it. It promises them a better world (Aren’t you happy? Aren’t you excited? You’re finally going to be free!). In some ways, Jacred is everything Volo’s ever been looking for. And Jacred is More than happy to show them! Because they are Good Good Friends!! But there’s still that ever-present guilt that this is Val’s body and Val’s voice and by submitting to Jacred, is he not giving permission to the thing in his lover to further reshape and rewrite Val’s existence as a whole? Volo’s always been so selfish, after all, hasn’t he?
Anyway ty for th ask i always appreciate themmmm!!!

Personally wasn't the most crazy abt the ScVi info released today during the direct
I'm sick of new gimmicks. I love gemstones and crystals and junk but 1) This feels very Diancie but Diancie is gen6 and I highly doubt they're gonna bring her back, 2) Gimmicks just flood the comp scene and make it terrifying for me to even think about stepping foot in again, 3) it's gonna get old fast. It looks way too bright on the screen and flashy in a way that hurts my eyes. I have no faith in Gamefreak to add accessibility settings to make it less eye searingly bright
All of us guessed the Legends would be rideable. I'm glad that guess was correct otherwise their designs would have suddenly become stupid instead of charming. However I'm annoyed that we get them at the start. Why do a bunch of kids just get to have the fucking Legends alongside their first ever Pokémon. You bring Gogoat back and then you slander him immediately. Good job.
The new Pokémon and new form revealed are.... Alright? You'd think I'd be all over a new dog Pokémon but Fidough isn't quite.... Perfect enough for me to latch onto. It's cute. But I'm not obsessed. Cietitan looks really boring, it's an egg with very limited features to make it interesting.
And they did that to Wooper on purpose. Paldean Wooper...???? Pooper????????????? It's brown???????????? I'm offended for Wooper
The gym thing seems neat, but the phrasing on the site implies some are still gonna be stronger than others without detailing what that means bc Gamefreak loves being vague as shit. I wouldn't mind some being more difficult even if they're scaled with your current gym badge count. But open world setting and gyms I don't think are going to ever pair together well.
Mechanically on the game tech side of things I'm like 75% sure a huge chunk of this game is going to suck. There's gonna be lag or things looking like ass or pop in or multi-player not working properly and that's not even talking abt player internet but just the sheer fact that Legends Arceus came out in January. They only outsourced one game before that. Unless they suddenly made Gamefreak's team massive and split into two I have no hope in this game being sound coding wise. Nintendo is notoriously outdated with a lot of online shit, Gamefreak has been struggling to keep up since the jump to 3D.
Pokemon is the most popular franchise in the world and yet the games are allowed to have issues. Even Legends would lag or crash. Not gonna be surprised if there's a day 1/2 patch that's huge to fix a bunch of shit that they coulda fixed if they delayed the fucking game to work on it more.
There's a 10 month window between Legends and ScVi releases. If this doesn't sound like a nightmare for those workers then you are either too deep in the Pokémon sauce to give a shit or you're blind. Don't buy the game at launch or pre-order it. Wait and see if the quality is any good and if it's shit don't even buy it until it gets patched to playability. Pokémon is being milked fucking dry for yearly releases and constant content and this fan base isn't fucking helping.

elleroodles ___ of the year awards
movie
EVERYTHING EVERYWHERE ALL AT ONCE SWEEP!!!!
runner ups r smile and uhh. i really don't know what else i watched that came out this year. do i have to say don't worry darling. i watched that with my mom and neither of us liked it that much but i did think it was more interesting than where the crawdad sings buuut crawdad had a good twist so idek..... i liked smile tho it was goofy and dumb and really great to watch in a theater with my friend. anyways eeaao has a fun acronym and is soo os oso good i don't think i even need to say that because well it's an objective fact but something i really appreciated upon a rewatch was how well it sticks to being bizarre but also coherent. like there's so much happening at any given moment but the movie gives it to u in a way that you can process, and while a lot of this is through having a protagonist like evelyn, it's also just really really good storytelling! and the flow is sooo good that movie is 2hrs and 19mins but does nott feel like it. luv it. everyone go watch it again please
show
i put this category here then realized i didn't really watch any shows that came out this year then realized CHAINSAW MAN!!!! one of my fav stories my fav manga probably i would need to think about it but i do love chainsaw man . sizzling hot take tho the anime is losing me. that's why the top spot goes to SEVERANCE!!!! even though i'm not done with it yet anyways let me have my safe space to air grievances about the csm anime. I THINK IT IS TOO PRETTY. maybe idk. there's just something off to me about the anime adaption as a whole idk what it is but i thiiiink it might be the style? the animation is so incredibly gorgeous and a masterclass in everything ever so i want to make it clear that i do not have a problem with the quality of the animation or art but i think its a little too. clean? idk! the csmiverse feels a little too gritty for the tone the anime has set. but we are getting into darker parts of the story now so maybe i will be proven right! that or yoshida will be introduced and they'll make him so pretty i won't even care anymore. anyways the other runner up is smiling friends i watched that show in its entirety at like 1am with my dad and we both liked it
album
starting this list there was only one album i knew for sure would make it in but then i checked and wow some music has been released this year.... top spot is going to shock everyone my aoty is HELLFIRE BY BLACK MIDI! reason: it's really good . thank u for coming. for real though i had never listened to a black midi song in my life until hellfire was the album of the week in the little music club my irls and i have and i listened to it and my third eye opened fireworks went off behind me a lightbulb lit up over my head etc etc i thought i had a broad taste in music but apparently not because HELLO? there's a lot of sounds here! and they're all really good! one of those things i think people should listen to at least once in their lives so they can either fall in love or get a shirt that says 'I LISTENED TO A BLACK MIDI ALBUM AND ALL I GOT WAS THIS DUMB T-SHIRT AND GOOD SOUNDS IN MY EARS.' extremely close second place is bleed out my the mountain goats the goats are the goats of concept albums like hello. and third goes to brightside bc i've been a slut for the lumineers since day one baby. i saw them tour this album actually and they shot confetti during birthday and even though i was all the way in the back i still got a piece and keep it in my phone case
game
i played three games that came out this year. did you know that. you do now because i have to expose myself for this top 3 list anyways i love POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS! i got it around release whenever that was. january i think. and it's such a cozy game. def in the top 5 mainline pkmn titles. i looove the open world aspect even if it's a little boring i don't care because i'll see a bidoof and go WOAHHH IT'S BIDOOF!!! crazy stuff i wish i could just go outside and see a thing in my front yard. the bugs scared me away from scarvi but my friend showed me the little tea party things. and i nearly caved. but then i picked up legends arceus and had such a good time that it saved me $60 so THANK YOU!! runner ups are rf5 which runs like hell on the switch pls buy rf4 instead and twewy. which i bought 12 hours ago because it's on sale right now
thank u all for coming

you have seen villain emmet, but consider this: champion emmet.he has to be fought in double battles and half of his pokes are ingo's. he wears black and white coat. his champion room is yin yang themed and even has statues of the twin heroes. his sidejob is now being part of interpol to look for ingo. You occasionally meet him as he investigates stuff. of ir you to stlll go with villain emmet route imagine he has complete form kyurem, kyurem version of ultra necrozma
I have considered........... and I have drawn art for it 😳
Tumblr media
I think it’d be very cool if Elesa designed a new champion outfit for him, haha. It looks a little plain imo but it wouldn’t sit right to wear the subway boss uniform as champion, all things considered.
🥺🙏 This is a pretty good idea tho! I rly like it- there are a TON of details pointing towards the duality aspect and I enjoy that :>. Plus I think,, he’d be a little sad all the time but revel in the fact that he is doing something, at the very least.

i feel like they’re probably going to delay the game until 2023… honestly im excited personally for a new gen (in theory) because i didnt rlly feel the nostalgia that came w the hype for SDBP bc i. never played those games??? and legends of arceus just isnt what i look for in a pkmn game;; i hope that the staff at gamefreak unionise bc i can’t imagine the amount of pressure they’re under, but i also am. very excited for a gen 9 the game looks Super Nice IMO and im obsessed w the new starters.
Literally super true I'm excited for new game footage to come out at some point Because I have mixed feelings and want them to clear up JINDKJOAJNID I initially liked the Sprigatito because it looked like something I would design (+ I like grass starters) but I think Fuecoco is going to grow on me
Also so true I hate how with every new pokemon game the crunch time is Palpable just while playing it (even in PLA which is genuinely an amazing game. The graphics + graphics glitches are just kinda oogh) so I'll be happy if something is finally done about it at some point Especially if it means having more than a year to breathe between games again
I'm glad u are excited I hope you enjoy the game when it comes out !!
