6 - What is your favourite moment from each series?

This is probably all subject to change because there’s so many moments that I absolutely love. I have other favourites that I could include but if I did that this would be far too long.

Series 1 - Probably Pats death scene, I know it’s not exactly a nice scene to watch but I just adore the way it’s done, particularly when he falls against the front of the bus, idk it plays with my brain chemistry in ways I can’t explain. Jim’s acting in that scene is just incredible.

Series 2 - The scene right at the start of episode 1 when Alison goes round the house doing her little morning routine. I just love looking at what each ghost does and I love all their little interactions.

Series 3 - The whole camping thing in Woodworm men is just lovely. We get Patcap and we get the cute little ghosts holiday vibe. I just love all of it.

Series 4 - Mary’s death episode (again quite morbid I need to stop picking death related favourite scenes) I love seeing how they all deal with grief, we really get a range of methods and they all suit the characters. If I had to pick a particular moment I’d go with Cap and Julian’s ‘very manly’ arm touch.

Series 5 - Probably achy breaky heart just because it’s hilarious but also the whole build up with Pat and the Captain having their moment and the Thomas hug it’s all just so lovely (minus the heart wrenching interval of death).

11 - What is your favourite thing about the show in general?

Found family.

I am found family obsessed and I adore the dynamics between all the characters in this show.

Also the fandom, I’ve been in so many fandoms over the years and this is genuinely the most lovely fandom I’ve been in. Particularly because I’ve only actually been in it since the end of October last year. So thank you <3

The way in Carpe Diem when the Captain has made his way into the ballroom and he's anxiously looking around the room for Havers. And then he sees him. And he does that exhale of breath.

That destroys me actually. All that relief in one breath. And the smile. Because he's found Havers again. And he's okay! All of the longing and loneliness of the 5 years of seperation is lost because here they are together again - he did it - he found his Havers.

And then when Havers notices him back - the absolute world of emotions in his expressions - the shock, the relief, the hidden smile.

There was so much love there. So much.

i think mostly we as a culture need to stop pretending media is for us and instead recognize that it's for the people making it. "the show didn't do the thing I wanted it to" is so not the point. did it do what the people making it wanted it to do? did it tell the story they were trying to tell? than it was successful. if that doesn't align with what you wanted to happen, don't get up in arms about it. don't badmouth the creators and throw a tantrum. that's what fan works are for. the text is the text, and it told the story it was telling. you wouldn't be like "ugh shakespeare is insane for act v btw like there was no reason for juliet to kill herself she should've just waited and then her and romeo could have been together wtf this ruined the whole play" like no!!! the themes were there the set-up was there the foreshadowing was there shakespeare did what he intended to. just because it wasn't a happy ending and just because you thought it should've went differently doesn't mean it was bad. read a fic where juliet lives and move on.

I’ve seen something on the Redding Weddy episode cover again!! There is definitely a deleted scene because I think I can see someone’s arm, which is probably Havers’(Anthony’s)!! WE NEED THE DELETED SCENES!!!

the end of ghosts s5e5 is by far the best example of how to react when a loved one comes out to you. i will no longer be accepting any response other than a fully choreographed line dance when i come out to people.
