#autistic tuvok#I headcanon that Tuvok was pulled from school once as a child (until he was better able to block out others) and once as a teen#from the lovestruck incident thing...went to the cave. The first time (as a child) he just stayed home and was tutored there#basically I was thinking about how Tuvok helps instruct Kes on how to control her HUGE telepathy powers#and there's a scene where they can both hear the entire ship and Tuvok seems to be like?? at ease with it?#But Vulcans are typically one-to-one touch telepaths unless there's a big tragedy pertaining to other Vulcans (like a ship of them die)#so I was like Tuvok what's your deal??#So I imagined that Tuvok is much more sensitive to that stuff than other Vulcans~!#Tuvok as a child wonders why he has to speak out loud at all if everyone around him can do it telepathically#makes no sense to him :/ but he learns and it's mostly fine now - he only feels strained speaking out loud if he's tired or overwhelmed#but it's fun to imagine him and Kes talking to each other telepathically from completely different areas of the ship#Tuvok art#st voy#st voy art#star trek art#star trek voyager#star trek voyager art#please don't 'um actually-' this post I'll bite you
