Heya, sorry to bother, but could you please explain what Murder drones, Wilderlore and TADC are? Like what medium and maybe a quick summary of what it's about?

oh my gosh you just asked me to explain my biggest hyperfixations im so fucking happy.

and no you aren’t bothering, im so fucking excited!

TADC, better known as The Amazing Digital Circus.

The Amazing Digital Circus is a 3D animated series written by @gooseworx and produced by @glitch-productions-official on YouTube. As of 1-3-2024, only the pilot is released. It centers around wacky characters who are humans transported to a digital circus through a headset. Once they arrive, all memories of who they were before are lost. The only ones there are the other humans transported in and Caine, an AI that doesn’t really understand what’s going on either, but he’s trying to help at least! The story starts when our main character, Pomni gets put in this digital hell realm. She must figure out how to adapt, and hopefully eventually escape this circus.

2. Murder Drones

sidenote: in case you couldn’t tell I fucking love murder drones *ahem* ANYWAY-

Murder Drones is a 3D animated series written by @liamvickersanimation and produced by @glitch-productions-official on YouTube. As of 1-3-23, only 6 episodes of the first season are out. The story centers around main character Uzi Doorman, an angsty worker drone teen that just needs a hug. Her planet of Copper-9 has been tormented by disassembly drones, better known as “Murder Drones”, for years. One day, she leaves her colony to find and kill these despicable monsters. Until she meets N, a friendly disassembly drone wio doesn’t realize Uzi is a worker. She manages to get some info out of him before fleeing, and accidentally leading him to her colony. The rest of N’s team follows him and they kill like, 80% of the robots there. N and Uzi take down N’s former teammates, and form an unlikely friendship. Suddenly, there’s a mysterious symbol plaguing Uzi. Now while their world slows my collapses around them, Uzi and N need to find out what everyone’s hiding and unravel the secrets of the symbol… before the universe dies.

3. Wilderlore

Wilderlore is a book series written by Amanda Foody. As of 1-3-23, only 3 books are out. The story centers around young Barclay Thorne, who is raised an orphan in Dullshire. In Dullsjire there are rules, rules that should not be broken. Until one day, Barclay breaks the biggest rule of them all: no Lore. (Lore is what they call magic.) By accidentally bonding with a beast, he has gotten his own magic or Lore, that makes him very feared. So he leaves with a mysterious girl, Viola Dumont. Together they travel through different regions with their Trainer or Master, hoping to fully master their abilities with their Beasts.

I typed every one of these by hand, from memory. I’m very dedicated if you couldn’t tell, lol.

So, uh Barsha (Barclay x Yasha) shipper here :)

I just wanna talk about my thoughts in Barsha in TNC.

First and foremost, I hope Barsha still becomes a reality!! I mean, no hate to Zenzi, I love her a lot <3

Also, the amount of Barsha in this book is surreal. I’m so happy that in one of the teasers “Oh no! I must work with my enemy for our shared survival!”, that it actually meant the both of them 🥹🥹 I kinda half-expected it to be about Runa and Cyril but aaaA it was them.

THEY ALSO EXCHANGED COATS like WHAAT? And now you tell me they won’t be together?? And just them trying to get the other to their side— Just shows how much THEY CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER. Even with the ending of TNC with Barclay not bothering with Yasha (tho he definitely thought of that before in TES but nonetheless, he still cares for him in TNC soo I bet he still cares for him in the next book), and him with Zenzi, I STILL HAVE HOPE FOR THEM!!!

I seriously hope I’m not delulu abt them cuz like, the signs are THERE. If they ain’t the endgame, I dunno what to think and do anymore.

Like, why plant seeds when they aren’t gonna be watered? 👀

i think the cruelty of dullshire has been looked past far too often; i don't understand how barclay could still wish to belong. what deranged town would willingly outlaw an eleven-year-old orphaned citizen, to take it so far as to chase him out with torches (and to do so when it is nearing the winter season, when he'll likely not survive)?it is heavily implied amid the accidental apprentice how awfully dullshire has regarded him, how he has endured all of this with nobody to talk to but himself & his mentor as well as the librarian, how disgusting the town is as a whole. and yet, barclay doesn't seem to want a shred of vengeance--after years of being mistreated, he still aids the town's bug infestation in the ever storms, and it is mentioned that many individuals aren't even appreciative of such. dullshire doesn't deserve him.

(emphasizing the lines "they were too worried about the futures of their own children to care about a scrappy rule-breaking orphan too," "whenever his teacher called him exceptional, barclay felt a flutter of pride in his chest. no one else in town thought of orphans like that," "he thought about all the years spent trying to convince dullshire to accept him, all to be ruined by something that wasn't his fault. and he couldn't help thinking how dullshire had bullied him about things out of his control his entire life," "barclay didn't have friends to ask for help either, other than master pilzmann and mrs. havener," "barclay was used to these insults . . . falk and his gang would find any excuse to torment him," "barclay considered yelling for help, but doing so had only earned him extra kicks and punches," "barclay's everything wasn't much--it was no friends, one apprenticeship, and two graves.")

I was bored so I decided to make some Wilderlore characters, I will have a headcanon about the character and then I will have the character. (I know this is a bad explanation but whatever. Also their designs are affected by some of my personal headcanons btw.)

Tadg (He is very angy.)

Even though he acts really rude about it and calls people weird for trying to hug him, he loves hugs. He also complains every time someone touches him.

Barclay (The dog is supposed to be Root.)

He loves head pats.

Viola

She collects things like bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and anything shiny that she finds.

Shazi

She collects random metal things that she finds.

Hasu

She collects flowers that she finds.

Cecily

She often tries to copy Cyril's hairstyles, because she looks up to him a lot and wan'ts to be like him, and she steals his clothes cuz they are too big for her.

Yasha

He can't fall asleep unless someone he is close to, like Barclay, Moyta, or Audrian, are asleep near him.

Audrian (Dumb*ss)

He regrets getting caught and having his identity revealed because he misses Cyril and Runa, and he is sad that Yasha doesn't get to hangout with his friends anymore. (He also calls Yasha, Yash cuz why not.)

Cyril (Book nerd) (Cee-Cee)

He keeps every gift that his apprentices give him and refuses to get rid of them, even if Leopold tells him to get rid of them.

Runa

She lets her apprentices braid her hair while she tells them stories.

Leopold Warning (Yes I made Leopold)

Leopold (Grand *sshole)

No headcanons.

Context: He is mad at the apprentices for putting bows in his hair. (He hasn't read the shirt, yet.)

These are the same in so many ways

Amity and Yasha: they both have magical cats. Both grew up in the world of magic. They both have family issues. They both are incredibly powerful for their age. Amity worked for the Villain then was persuaded over (hopefully Yasha has this same path) They are both gay for the adorable main character.

Luz and Barclay: both are new to the world of magic. They both are outsiders from where they came from. They did not fit in. They found families in the new world. both have a bad guy that is similar to them, and wants them to join him. *cough* Belos *cough* Audrian *cough* Both are bisexuals.

That’s all I can think of right now but I’m certain there are more similarities

Audrian also has that lore. Elsie stuff?

Damn! I've been imagining lore keepers taking on traits from their beasts since book 1, and now it's canon!

Field trip! Nice to meet all the high keepers, Hasu's mom having a dragonfly on her face is cool, but I don't like her by principle because it seems she's putting a lot of pressure on Hasu :(

It's nice to see Runa and Cyril becoming friends again.

I also like seeing Viola realize that her dad is kinda shitty, reminds of when I realized that about my mom. I still love my mom, but she's a little insufferable, and it's nice to see someone in fiction feeling the same way as me.

Also Barclay practicing with his new lore is so cute ☺️

So overall I really liked the book, I liked the darker vibe and the greater violence, and the plot twist were cool. I have a few questions, such as: how did Navyrishta get trapped in the ice in the first place? Why was the horn plunged into the glacier at the north of the world? Why did it turn silver? And also I'm wondering what happened to Abel, since that was never explained. I hope that in future books we get more time with Ethel and maybe discover what happened. I'm also glad that Root got more screentime, because my biggest critique of books 2 and 3 is that they kinda didn't give him anything to do. Barclay and Zenzi kissing was nice, but I don't really see this turning into something serious more like a crush that will eventually go away and all that'll remain is friendship. I also enjoyed seeing Barclay getting better at lying, although I'm not sure how I feel about it being through Audrian. Speaking of which, Audrian is delusional. Fuck him. Can't wait for the next book!
