Barbello/Barbela = "Barbēlō (Greek: Βαρβηλώ) refers to the first emanation of God in various forms of Gnostic cosmogony. Barbēlō is often described as a supreme feminine principle, the only passive antecedent of creation in its multiplicity. This figure is also called the 'Mother-Father' (suggesting his apparent androgyny), the 'First Human Being', 'The Triple Androgynous Name', or the 'Eternal Aeon'.
