heyy I saw ur reblog of my most recent solangelo post!! I wanted to thank you when i saw the tag that u loved my art style and I wanted to say that the braid i draw on Will is bc of an hc of mine where Lee made that braid for Will before he (Lee) died and after Lee's death Will never took it off. Only once happened because the hair tie broke and Will cried when the braid wasn't there anymore. Luckily, Nico was there to fix it and now that braid holds more value to Will because, yes it was something that reminded him of his siblings, but it was more special because Nico re made it
Wait that's so.... I'm so in love with nonchalant actions being maintained after someone's passing as an act of greiving and maintaing that person's memory. I assumed it was probably a reference to Star Wars or something but that's so much more touching. Imagine like, the act of like "putting someone back together" in their mourning as a physical act of love and care. I may honestly adopt some variation of this headcanon into personal lore because I find it so touching. Thank you so much for sharing I love learning the hidden references in things!
