"She had a small black kitten she called Balerion, did you know? I always wondered what happened to him. Rhaenys liked to pretend he was the true Balerion, the Black Dread of old, but I imagine the Lannisters taught her the difference between a kitten and a dragon quick enough, the day they broke down her door."

I'd like to believe that Balerion the cat terrified Rhaegar. That cat was pulling the the harp strings whenever Rhaegar played and it sent Rhaenys into fits of laughter. Pulled his hair, slept on his face whenever Rhaenys was with him. Everything those silly cats do.

Hey, I've gotten a couple submissions lately that I wish I could post.
The only problem is that the pictures submitted aren't loading. I don't know what the problem is, but I guess all I can say is that in the future, everyone make sure that if you're using a link to submit something, make sure it works! (:

Stannis goes with Arryn to the armourer and sees Gendry there. It's mentioned several times. When Ned is questioning Gendry he even asks, "Did Lord Stannis question you as well?" "The bald one? No, not himHe never said no word, just glared at me, like I was some raper who done for his daughter."

Brienne
Brienne is one of my favourite characters because she is the epitome of the opposition to stereotypes of roles of women, not only in ASOIAF but in many writings and in some cases real life.
She's had to deal with a lot of hate and victimization in her world, and I truly believe her skin has also turned from porcelain to ivory to steel. I don't think Sansa will end in a similar role as Brienne, but I believe that Brienne went through a similar stage of strengthening herself in order to avoid allowing ridicule and suffering to get her down.
Brienne is someone I am inspired by, because sometimes I wish I had her strength to be myself. Having said that, I think it was good that we saw her go through a period of suffering (I won't spoil just in case), because it makes me understand her more. As did her wonderful POVs which I really loved reading.
