BABYPAL IS ONE YOU GUYS!!!

Update on Oscar (and baby Oscar throwback photo to 2013)! Oscar is doing great in the hospital at UC Davis and is making small, gradual progress each day. Slow and steady wins the race after all! He is continuing to defecate small amounts on his own and his feces is looking like more hydrated hay matter which is great as it indicates his GI system is starting to get going again. They are still hydrating him orally but have stopped sub-q fluids. He continues to receive antibiotics, daily enemas (which he’s not happy about) and warm soaks along with plenty of exercise around the hospital. His blood work continues to look better each time they run lab work, though all levels are not back to normal where they should be yet. We are crossing our fingers he’ll get to come home soon! I'm a plus sized little and wanted to know where you get your onsies from? I've looked everywhere but the sizes are always too small and I really want sonething big and fuzzy to cuddle up in

I'm guessing you mean onesies like my rainbow unicorn onesie, where it covers my arms and legs and everything for winter!! (Which thankfully is ~trendy~ so you can get away with wearing in front of others much more easily.) That particular onesie I got from Torrid, who I've seen offer a few of them but they go FAST. I've also seen them offered at ASOS, if I remember correctly they have a panda onesie right now?! Depending on what size you're looking for, Walmart is also an option!! I got my piggy onesie there, though it is pretty snug so maybe not the route to take if you want something loose and you're near my size (I'm a 24 on top, and 26/28 on bottom). Standard onesies, I get at @onesiesdownunder (4x), babypants (though they never update their selection, they run large and have some cute stuff), or etsy!! Of course, always check both size charts AND reviews. Sometimes items stretch more than the size chart will lead you to believe and will fit just fine, and reviewers are pretty good about saying if that's the case!! I'm half asleep, but hopefully this has been helpful at all. And if anyone else would like to chime in about where they as a plus size little get their cute onesies in size fat, feel free!! ITS BEEN A WEEK HOW IS MAX AND MAMMA AND MONSIEUR WIFE

HE SLEEPS!!!! Well, he’s waking up right now. But he sleeps!

We’ve been struggling with a way for him to sleep at night without him being in my arms. Turns out I just needed to learn his sleeping patterns and I think I found it.

He might have jaundice so we’re working to make that not the case.

I’ve noticed that I’m more short tempered than I usually am, and I was already pretty short tempered before. Post partum hormones mixed with stress of newborn and lack of sleep really put you through the paces.

Hubs is good? I think? He’s lowkey the worst when he’s asleep because he’s hard to wake up. But when he’s awake and alert himself he absolutely crushes taking care of Max. Like you can’t really play with a one week old. But he plays with him and talks to him in funny voices and it’s just very sweet.

ALSO ALSO I AM SHOCKED that there have been no pregnancy craving fics lmao. I thought for Sure that would be one we'd be graced with lmao. (Not a request or demand just a fun observation. You do you boo)

Bro honestly I haven’t really had cravings. Like nothing overly ridiculous anyway. Even before pregnancy, I’ve had hyperfixations with certain foods where I’d crave it endlessly for about a week, then be like “I refuse to eat this food now” and I’m having the same issue now.

The only real “consistent” craving I have is Mexican food, which again is a consistent craving I had regardless of pregnancy.

It’s weird yo.

BABYPAL UPDATE PLS🙏🙏

Babypal is 18, almost 19 weeks! I had an appointment and bloodwork yesterday to test for any structural defects, and I have a more thorough anatomy scan in a little less than 2 weeks to really check him out.

Officially have baby clothes, more than just little pieces I couldn’t stop myself from buying, so little man’s wardrobe is growing. Also got some blankets and such for him courtesy of Baby Clothes Dump #1.

He’s stretching out more/definitely getting bigger because he was much easier to find with the fetal heart monitor at yesterday’s appointment. I can’t feel him yet, but my doctor says I should start to in the next month or so. And aside from my feet starting to swell, the occasional cramp of my uterus making more room for him (a real weird thing nobody tells you about), and occasional backache, I fully under why everyone calls the 2nd trimester the best one because I’m just vibing.

Name is still TBD. Hubspal (dadpal?) and I are frequently butting heads with that shit, but we got some good contenders.

We got to see Babypal a couple days ago. They’re exactly as big as they’re supposed to be and hallefrickingluah there’s only one Babypal.

(For those who look at ultrasounds and go “wait what?” like I do, where the yellow line is that’s all baby. Not quite 2 centimeters. Tiny tiny lil blob baby.)

Today is AMAZING!

Max is head down, so no breech baby here, no sir!

AND I can choose to get induced at 39 weeks (in 3 weeks 😬😬😬) if I want and as someone who is not big on surprises/likes having some sort of game plan, I am very into the idea of elective induction (even if induction does not mean baby shows up same day) because at least it’s like game time ya know? (Plus getting induced a week early pretty much guarantees I’ll be home with Max before the concert I plan to go to so that makes me super fuckin’ happy)

So uh… is the kid getting his eviction notice? Yeah. Yeah probably. Time’s up kiddo.
