Sleep Schedule
It's funny how babies and small kids are expected to take naps and still have so much energy while us adults need so much caffeine to just keep our eyes open. I see the contrast all the more with my son and us.

And with that, this series comes to an end for real this time. Thank you for reading. I decided that this was the best note to end it on because I want to move onto other projects which includes other slice of life projects that allow for more flexibility since the MCs will be people.

Reiner strikes me as the kind of guy who tries to stay up for New Years but falls asleep on the couch a few hours before it starts.
Reiner in my head is PEAK DAD! Whether he has kids or not and starting at the age of 17 to be honest lmao
So he totally intends to stay up but is asleep on the couch around 10:30pm. And if he has gone out to a party of some sort, you can find him curled up in a quiet corner or even leaned against some back wall, fast asleep.
He makes me wish I was real strong and had the reach wide enough and height tall enough to scoop him up and carry him to a proper bed to tuck in.
But wouldn't it be soooo cute to slip onto his lap a couple minutes before and wake him up right before the countdown. He totally startles when you call his name and you have to lean into his body to keep him from tossing you off in his surprise. (he's not a calm waker upper--even sans nightmares :( )
Anywho, you wake him up and he sleepily joins you in the countdown. On the count of 5 you cup his scruffy face, locking gazes with those beautiful amber eyes.
"Three....two....one! Happy New Year, babycakes!" You share a tender kiss and then help pull him up from the couch to go properly sleep in bed. 馃槍
